I got charged for 4 days and i only used it for 1. The lady at the front desk absolutely refused to assist me in turning it in, was actually rude about it. I drove 130 miles and was charged for over 160 miles. The gal at desk finally added up my charges and said i would be billed for $152 and charged me $360. Im on a limited income and i budgeted $160 after her calculations and now have $150 in overdraft fees, not cool at alljerry C.

Third time I booked a uhaul in a week and all three times I waited between 40 min to 2 hours to get a truck after reserving it. No respect regarding peoples time. I waited 45 minutes in the sun for the truck to get checking in at the location before I could take it. Made me late. The worker showed up late too.Maqsood A.

We rented a uhaul from them and it was a pain. Made a reservation online and when we showed up to pick it up, there was no one there. The sign said they would be back in 30 minutes, they did not get back for 45 minutes. Then since we where not going to be finished with the truck before they closed they told us we could drop it off at a different U-Haul dealer. We get a call from the regional office telling us we had to drop it off at the same place, so we where very confused. We come to drop it off the next day, at a different time of day, and again no one is there (during their listed buissness hours) and they do not have a drop off box for the keys so we had to wait for them again. We are in the middle of moving and did not have the time to wait around. If they are going to leave the property unattended because of lunches or something those hours need to be listed online. Honestly there was a lot of confusion, so I don't blame the worker who was there when I picked up the truck, but all information should be transferred over when giving a new location to pick up the truck because the original one wasn't available. I initially signed up for the 24/7 truck pick up and then for the first location she said she changed it to a regular pick up because they didn't have that option at their location, but when I went to the second location apparently I was switched back to the 24/7 pickup without being informed. It was hard to speak with anyone over the phone for customer service as I had waited on hold multiple times for over 20 minutes. It was my first time renting and I'm not sure if I would be willing to rent from U-Haul the next time. The process needs to be explained clearly to all parties.Ivanna S.

Don't put a drop-off location as available if the person working there isn't aware that it will be arriving. Diane took care of the situation quickly and professionally, but U-Haul should have never put either of us in the situation where we had to call around and WAIT to find out if I could leave the truck there. The gentleman at Guardian Storage was very professional with that being said next time I will only rent from me U-Haul store I rented the truck for 2 days returned it within one day and two hours and got charged for the whole thing mileage was $56 plus what I had to pay for gas to do 23 miles. Vehicle was clean well maintained no problems I'm just pretty sure I could have got a better deal at a U-Haul company store that I got at a storage facility. And the gentleman did not have access to the computer system so everything was done over the phone to the company officeWilliam S.

I had prepared to pick up my rental using a quick check-in program, online. The guy at the site,canceled our order and had to do it over,took me an extra 30 min. to get in and out. He would not use the confirmation that I printed from your site! We finally got out with a twenty mile est. and a return time of 6 P.M., he repeated that he closed at 6 P.M. At approx. 3:45 while driving down the road to my new home I get a message " we are closing at 5 Pm ...." then something about letting me keep rental till next day & turn in the morning. I called back when I stopped at my new home, and stated I had documentation I had truck till 6 pm, again he asked if I would have it back on time! I stated if I was not harassed, I might have it back early! I only put a little over 9 miles on the rental and had replaced more fuel than I used. I think this site does not represent the best interest of U-Haul or their customers! The down side of this is it was a convenient location for my wife to use.Verlin H.

Please teach your employee (i believe he is the owner's brother) some respect. He tried overcharging me with adding insurance and refusing to remove it when i requested. We paid for blankets and did not receive any. We could not get a refund when we got to our destination. We were told to call the point of origin when we did not make the error. They refused to fix the error. Also, we were told when we picked up the truck that he would charge us for a little extra mileage (19 miles above the contract of 201) that if we didn't use the mileage, we could get the refund charged to my Visa card. The people at the point of return, told us that that is never their policy and that they never charge for extra mileage. This is the typical run around one gets for businesses like this. It is very discouraging when you act in good faith and are extremely tired from driving long hours and moving lots of stuff to be treated poorly.emily B.

Service was horrible. Had issues with my reservation and the clerk was not knowledgeable enough to assistance me. Made me handle it. Clerk took no initative to help me out. Truck was dirty. One tire was unsafe and should be replaced. Clerk marked full tank but was only 7/8s. Clerk parked too close to the gate. Had to climb through passengers side. Clerk picked my wrong rop off location and said that I could drop it off at anyone which wasn't true as I was told If I did there would be a $345 relocation fee . I was very surprised at the overall lack of customer service, and knowledge of the staff at this location. I would not normally submit a review, but the service from this location was so bad I feel like I must do so. They were unable to look up my reservation, which was made online. They were unable to serve us in a timely manner, which took about an hour. And they changed my reservation time from 2 days to one, so that I was overcharged. Went thru online process of filling out the form. At the end of which I was requested to fill out another form to help expeditie the process/avoid standing upon arrival. First, there is no way (online)to avoid the purchasing of U-Hauls insurance...although I didn't need it for I as well as my Dad both had our own insurance . Secondly, the on-line process was a complete WASTE OF TIME because the office folks (although very nice) were not knowledgable in navigating UHauls forms - We had to literally answer ALL the same questions I took the time to submit online. Soooo they basically RE-filled out the SAME EXACT information an they too could not avoid giving us the insurance. Apparently the only info that was transmitted ahead of time was my name,phone number and rental date/time. Finally after about 30minutes we get the truck. I am really annoyed for IT HAS ONLY 1/4 TANK OF GAS! Uggggh! The gentleman who filed out the form and brought us the truck could only say "It's the way the previous person brought it back". I suggest they adopt the philosophy of the Rental Car companies..."Return the trucks FULL or at least provide new customers with a Full truck. The last thing I desired to do after waiting around unnecessarily was to make my first stop the gas station ($50). Also I request UHaul thoroughly make certain to train these 3rd party companies (This is a storage facility) to ensure their customer's satisfaction. beforeDAVID W.
