The woman went above all expectations and provided a very possitive experience she even made arrangements to get the truck to us since we were left stranded on the the road with our vehicle.

Ron MThis 26’ truck should not have been rented , or even on the road. It doesn’t meet safety standards. For starters , the drivers headlight assembly is broken and only attached at the top which caused the headlight to do nothing but bounce around , making it impossible to drive at night. It resulted in me having to quit driving two hours before my destination causing me to pay for a second hotel room on the very first night. I had to change the rest of my plans so I did not have any night driving to avoid death. The brakes on this truck we’re horrible, brake pedal was so stiff at some point I had to use 2 feet to stop on one occasion I could not stop and ended up running a red light and they squealed whether the truck was loaded or unloaded. Two of my days it rained, the windshield leaked. The wipers were garbage couldn’t even see with them full blast. Upon return of this truck in Calgary, the gentleman that did my return told me that this truck should not have been rented and he was appalled at the condition that I showed him that this truck was in and I do have a video of the front light that moves majorly. We went into the desk to speak to the ladies in charge about me getting some sort of a refund on this truck and I was asked if I called roadside assistance for any of these issues. I’m not sure what rental company thinks that somebody who is driving from Ontario to Calgary doing eight hour day drives has the time to wait for roadside assistance to fix things like their headlight that should never have left a lot like that. I will never rent from U-Haul again 100% dissatisfied customer and will tell everyone I know.. so to answer your question U-Haul what can you do to improve for the next customer? Plain and simple, fix your vehicles. Pretty obvious.

Ron MThere were 2 other U-Haul dealers within 15 minutes of my location but once I had booked online I was called and told I had to drive for 45 minutes each way to secure a truck. I checked with the 2 nearest locations on the Saturday and they said there 9 26’ trucks were available. I didn’t appreciate your algorithm spreading the bookings around at the consumers convenience and expense.
David TThis was a horrible experience. I originally rented the trailer in Wawa for a one day sorry for a one-way trip which was gonna cost me 160 something dollars trailer was unavailable. I ended up having to pick the trailer up in Aurelia now the charges became over $400 then on the return instead of being able to drop it off in Wawa as I expected I had to drive for four hours to return the trailer in a place called marathon only to find out this morning. I got charged an additional fee because I was unable to get there by eight in the morning after a 12 Hour Dr. and unloading my trailer. I expect a call back to have that money refunded. I rent you all all the time usually a very good experience this has nothing to do with the people that I rented from and everything to do with U-Haul‘s policies. It was ridiculous. Customer service was very unhelpful and unwilling to compensate. Accordingly, I trust my future. My future rentals will be a better experience. I await a phone call and the refund for the additional day.
david dI am only giving 4 stars because I chose online check-in and the app took a very long time. Witing for it to verity information made me late for my appointment. I wish I had done in-person check-in.
Courtney BColdwater location did not answer the phone from 9 to 3 on Sept 12, 9 calls, sometimes a person to whom Coldwater phone was forwarded answered at James Snow U-Haul in Milton and Acton, their solution was to just keep trying. Why would you forward phones to a place that would not offer service. On line I was able to book at Coldwater, but as soon as it was verified as having that size of truck, I received a call from a lady at Happyland saying that truck was not available and I would be renting from them. They were fine. This should not take 10 hours to find someone to do business with. I assure you if there was an alternative in this area, I would have chosen them. It ha certainly given me an idea for a business case development in the area of Ontario.
Doug WThe place is not the biggest and there was no available parking spots, so I double parked, other than that all went well the agent handled everything efficiently even though the systems were down.

BRADLEY ENothing..... Jayana Raj was amazing, very helpful, polite and friendly. Jayana explains everything to you and even helped out when I wasn't able to upload my drivers license. I would recommend going to see Jayana for your Uhaul needs.
PATRICK JAll rental truck oil tank is not refill don’t have a any thing is you refill equal after that send a bill pending balance i am refill tank in same point drop off time but he was send a fule charges I have a pictures pickup time oil level and drop off time
MANPREET MThe location at Happyland and the owners are so wonderful and they truly went above and beyond for me which I truly appreciate. I have rented/driven 6 uhauls in the past year for my family and now myself. I drive commercial vehicles and the truck I was driving had mechanical issues, it needs front end work, an alignment, new belt, it has a vacuum leak, a maintenance required icon popped up and went away numerous times and the transmission from first gear has problems switching to second gear. This u haul as well burned gas at a rate which in my experience was alot more then average for a 15 ft box truck. Please call me for more information regarding this and other issues I have noticed

Jim BJack did not work, lots of garbage and large pieces of glass left in trailer making it unsafe. I have pictures to show. The left side lights did not work, employee told me dont worry about it. I did not get what i paid for.
BRETT TMy whole experience was awesome. Staff was very accommodating, from booking all the way through with scheduling pick up and drop off. Super friendly and even helped get me hooked up and on my way ahead of schedule. ... I would suggest that the U-Haul app. Could function better to reflect Canada 🇨🇦, but that wasn't the Centre's fault, they more than made up for its short coming with their customer service. Great job, would be glad to recommend. Thanks for everything. Cheers Joe

WALTER DToo small of a parking lot. Not an easy turn onto roadway in large truck. Needed to go through local neighbourhood to go southbound. Truck was at or just below 1/4 gas so needed fuel very shortly after fill up. Would be much better to start journey with full truck and fill just before return. Brakes on truck need work. Felt hard and like they weren’t working as best as possible.
Mackenzie RHappyland U-Haul....in Severn. There was 1.5 ft of snow on the roof of the truck when they gave me the keys. Extremely dangerous if heading out onto a highway or road. Thank goodness I did not have to. There was very little gas in the tank. I drove the truck 2 kms and returned it 2 kms. I put gas into the tank before returning it. Certainly more than I used. Their final invoice included a Gas Charge for 10 litres of gas at a price of $16.86. Their response was to call the Head Office.......not their problem. Would not recommend using this U-Haul Outlet.

TYRWHITT CPeople were great but the location seems abandoned. Equipment is typical. Customers are told they will be fueled and ready for pick up. Reality is they need to be fueled and have engine lights on.

JEFFREY LTook over an hour to get the trailer out from where it was parked, and then the trailer lost running lights and continuously would break the fuses n my truck. Upon inspection of the wiring on the trailer I found numerous poor connections in the wiring harness with multiple improper and unprofessional wiring. I had to return the trailer before I used it a day early and was told there was nothing they could do for a refund or discount, I would have to call head office. I plan on going to social media with this story if no one responds to this survey. Complete and total waste of my time and money.

BRIAN KWe were struggling to drop the truck off due to service in the area not being great, and despite us dropping off during office hours, no one was there to help us. The owner called us and said she ran out for an errand. We had to come back (20 minutes there and back home) a second time to drop the keys off after we received our receipt. Not happy at all.

GUERGUI NAttendant didn't check inside the trailer to make sure it was clean. When we got to our destination to pick up our new furniture, we discovered that the last person that used the trailer used it possibly for a demo or sewage reno. It smelled like sewage and black stains, residue and the stench was unbearable. We had to find a self using car wash to clean the trailer then squigy the water out. This put us off by 1.5 hrs by the time we went back to the store to pick up our furniture. We can provide pics. A full refund would be appreciated thank you.

EDMUND GI was originally to pick up in Orillia. I showed up and there was no truck. I was on a very tight schedule and being delayed like this. Cost me money. When I did get told to go to another pick up location, when I picked up the truck it was dirty inside with food items on the seats as well as only having less than half a tank of gas. In future I will probably go with another company.
