We drove 2 hours away before taking the time to submit the return online after drop off, and it turned out we HAD to be at the location to allow our geolocation and take a photo of the returned equipment. We were forced to drive the two hours back to complete the return.The online instructions are not user friendly for non tech savvy people and there is no human contact on site. Customer service assistance was no help nor kind and they were not able to do anything by phone per policy. The hold times are over an hour or no answer at all.There was nothing wrong with the location or equipment.

federico martinezThis company is unorganized and does not care about their customers. Truck was not ready, (wrong key placed in box) wasted my time, while I had movers waiting. Still took my money, never refunded it and never issued their $50 “guaranteed” if the truck was not ready.

jason obrienThe vehicle was returned on 2/12/23 at 11:30pm. I called Ruby on your support line who left notes to indicate this. I am not going to accept any late charges. Correct this or I'll ask my bank to dispute the charges. The receipt is inaccurate.
Ebenezer AbayateyeThey were rude when I had to turn my car dolly back in New Mexico cause when we got here my mother in law is in Hospice , my husband & I needed to stay in Alamogordo. I called them they told me I had to return it in Florida. This was a family emergency. I was told by customer service that the place I rent it from could change drop off & note it was an emergency.

Blake RawdinI was told to turn the truck in on Sat. But failed to tell me they were closed on Sat. And I would have to use a different way to turn the truck in. Since I was there almost 4 hours earlier than expected. When I picked up the truck they Could not even even print me out a contract. They had me sign the contract on the back of another contract. "We have to recycle paper".
Christina WeberWhen I picked the truck up at 5:10 I asked the hours they were open the next day and was told k could always use the drop box. I commented I would most definitely need the truck the full 24 hours so would be back around the same time. When she handed me the normal U-Haul operation and terms and condition paperwork that the contract is usually printed and placed in she adviced me she just emailed it to me but could print it. I was in a hurry and said email is fine. Never at any point in our conversation, or any other time I have ever rented a U-Haul have I had a different drop off time than my pick up time. So I brought the truck back the next day at 5:01 and when I got home, once again receipt not printed was told would he emailed, I saw an email with the receipt and to my total shock I was charged for two days. After looking at the charges it says the truck was due back at 4:31. Wait what??!??? I have a bad knee and back, had everyone bail on me that was suppose to help so I rushed and worked through a lot of pain to get that truck back by 5 nexuses I can not afford another day. Had I known I was going to be charged I would have taken my time or found mote help. Car rental companies even give you a small window to return. I tried calling customer service yesterday but after 15 min on hold I hung up. I have used U-Haul for every move i have made since I was 16. I almost used Penske this time bexuee they charge a lot less for mileage but I chose to stay with what I know and trust and came to you. I will for sure be going elsewhere from here out.
