The truck I wanted was not available. This is not acceptable. If I reserve a truck I expect you to have it. There was a truck the same size there but they said it was for local deliveries. That is not right! I had to drive 30 minutes to pick up a replacement then 30 minutes back. This is money out of my pocket and it is your fault. I should have been given a big discount but was not. When I went to the other location to pick up the smaller truck and trailer, I had to wait a long time. I will use a different trucking company next time

Tie down ports were smaller than expected and appeared weak. I was concerned about using them and only secured the load to the outside ports which were larger. Also I ordered trailer with motorcycle chalk and was given standard trailer. When I raised my concern about the trailer to U Haul only option presented was to return trailer. No assistance in trying to find a replacement at another location was mentioned.

Johnny S.The keys in the assigned lock box were for the wrong truck. No one was there (sign said “closed†despite arriving within normal business hours). The truck that key DID open was filthy inside. It was unlocked, too. The automated system had no option for this situation, so I had to call the help line and spend another 10 minutes or so getting the right keys. The truck I ended up with was clean inside and out.

Robert G.They asked me to return the truck for a 30-40 mins drive and told me that i have no other option. So we have to drive to a very far and cold location. Just to be transparent we have a 2 mins uhaul location near my house. Just waste of time and gas money. Not gonna use uHaul again. I should have a gas refund.

I feel that was very deceptive because I only used the equipment from 4pm on pickup day to around 10am the following day. That is 16 hours by my calculation. Your website is very confusing. I was told I should have requested it for less hours because U-Haul doesn't refund. I will probably not use U-Haul again.
