sandra gMaybe better not to have pets wandering in the office (cat was very friendly but some customers might be allergic). Also, the trailer was somewhat dirty inside (something spilled on back wall). We had a Mix-up with adapter we needed, and this location was sold out; so had to go to hardware store & come back (which was likely my fault as I haven’t needed an adapter for Uhaul trailers in the past)
Jonathan RAll the people I dealt with were terrific. Knowledgeable, helpful, and very easy to deal with. The only issue I encountered was the online portion of the transaction. I had trouble navigating the site and understanding what was involved. For instance, I tried to add protection online and wasn't able to. It was no problem because the agent, in person, took care of it.

Ron MThis location was 13 miles farther than the location I chose causing me to use 6 gallons of gas and cost me money. I will not pay this. The driveway was deep, narrow and dark. I did not chose this location Then I couldn’t properly check in the truck. When I put the correct amount of gas in the truck the U-Haul location I chose was .3 miles away from the gas station (where I went). Then I had to drive to this random U-Haul location.

Tony OI started calling at 9 AM to ask for an additional 24 hour rental, but gave up after 45 minutes of continuous calling - no answer. After my 90 minute drive to return the trailer, nobody was there, even though the woman told me she would open at 9 AM. It was too heavy for me to detach by myself. I finally had to return it to a different location.
Richard AThe truck I wanted was not available. This is not acceptable. If I reserve a truck I expect you to have it. There was a truck the same size there but they said it was for local deliveries. That is not right! I had to drive 30 minutes to pick up a replacement then 30 minutes back. This is money out of my pocket and it is your fault. I should have been given a big discount but was not. When I went to the other location to pick up the smaller truck and trailer, I had to wait a long time. I will use a different trucking company next time
Jeff ETie down ports were smaller than expected and appeared weak. I was concerned about using them and only secured the load to the outside ports which were larger. Also I ordered trailer with motorcycle chalk and was given standard trailer. When I raised my concern about the trailer to U Haul only option presented was to return trailer. No assistance in trying to find a replacement at another location was mentioned.

Johnny SThe keys in the assigned lock box were for the wrong truck. No one was there (sign said “closed” despite arriving within normal business hours). The truck that key DID open was filthy inside. It was unlocked, too. The automated system had no option for this situation, so I had to call the help line and spend another 10 minutes or so getting the right keys. The truck I ended up with was clean inside and out.
