I had trouble with the after hours check in, I called the U-Haul help number, spent 33 minutes waiting for someone to answer, when finally answered explained my problem and was put back on hold for a total of 1 hour and 18 minutes. Needless to say I was extremely frustrated at the complete lack of customer service. Local rental site was great and dismissed the 20 dollar overnight fee, U-Haul company needs work on there customer service. Because of this I'm not sure if I will rent from them again.EARL S.

The truck share gave me nothing but problems. I was scheduled for a truck, showed up to kearney MO to pick it up and instead the truck was booked to someone else and I was assigned to another truck. Once I found that out, the truck I was assigned to had no key. Due to it being a holiday, the location was not open. They sent me to independence to get another truck who failed to read the fuel level correctly. The regional office told me they would credit 60 dollars to my bill for the truck mixup, and yet I have not seen that reflected on my bill. Also, because the independence location read the fuel level incorrectly, even though I changed it on the website when I picked it up, I refilled it to the 3/4 mark it had when I picked it up and got charged an extra 30 dollars. I would like to talk to someone about this experience and have it made right. I was told it would be between 60-75 dollars with the credit, and instead it was 175. So this needs to be made right.Zackery D.

The uhaul digital site was down or improperly working, this caused me a real loss of time because the vendor couldn't complete the digital transaction. This was no fault of the vendor, she did a great job. Uhaul needs to allow paper registration as an option like they used to incase the system is down.KENNETH H.

My sister and I have now rented from this location twice in the last 8 months. I have also rented a box truck from St. Joseph Mo in the last month. I know it is ran by one person, but we have never made it in and out in under 40 minutes, even with pre-registration. On my sister's rental, she was charged extra because the system said her trailer was returned to Witchita, KS, when it was returned to the store we rented it from in Cameron. She had to make multiple calls to get the charges straightened out. On my rental, i was told i needed to check the trailer in online or I would be charged $20. After returning the trailer 9 hrs after i rented it. I went home to check it in on the email registered to the account. Found out i needed to be on site to check it in. My son, who is autistic would not leave the house, so i waited until the next day to drive over and check it in. At that point it prompts for payment which was double the agreed upon rate. I submitted a referendum contesting the charge. I was never followed up with, but received a invoice showing the charges were executed today. I responded with questions but no response. Needless to say, i will never rent from them again.Cory C.

Dropped of the truck after store hours, so was not in the location nor did I talk with any of the personnel that work there. Parking and drop box area is well light if you return equipment after dark.Matthew M.

Both Very Lovely Ladies at this place were so very extremely helpfully courteous and kind making a otherwise stressful chore a joyful breeze. They both made you feel so welcome and at peace coming and going !!! You need a U-Haul this is they place to go rent one from !!! It will be well worth they extra drive to rent it !!! There were several Uhaul system-related difficulties that resulted in difficult checkout process. However, the staff was experienced, friendly, and worked through the difficulties that finally resulted in a successful checkout. The staff also noticed faulty part on the car hauler, but it was quickly rectified by swapping parts from another.Robert P.

While I was there, the computer system crashed and we had to wait until it came back online. This was system-wide, affecting all locations we called. There was no way for the clerk to enter my equipment manually, so we had to wait for about 40 minutes before we could leave. I had a crew waiting and a window of time to complete the move, which was cutting things close.KAMMIE S.

I can't believe how greedy companies are!! You charge One Rate through the week and another rate on the weekend when that is obviously taking advantage of your customers and then on top of renting the truck and the mileage you also charge rental tax. Price gauging at its finest. I hope someday u actually Appreciate your customers instead of taking advantage of them!JACQUI B.

When I took it back I took it back a day early and they said I was late and they charged me more money that is not the way you should do a customer they were wrong but they had to take the money off of my charge card I was very upset about thisJoanna H.
