Have a local number posted for customers to call in case they are having difficulty figuring out the new process. Make the key pick-up easier. Tell customers beforehand that when they arrive to pick up the key, they will be required to give a reference that can & will answer the phone.Samantha C.

When I went to drop it off they were really rude on the phone and she told me I had no choice to drop it off two hours away . Very upset .Alexandra C.
It was after 7pm when we dropped off the truck, dark and raining. I was checking it in via the app and the guy who I guess runs the place comes up to the side of the cab and asks me what I'm doing. Scared the crap out of me! Wasn't expecting anyone other than myself and husband there. Told him I was turning in the truck and he asked if I was using the app (no, I just take pictures of the dash and interior for the heck of it) and when I confirmed I was doing so he stated "good, that will save you $20!". Yes, I know. That's why I'm checking it in myself!Stacy W.

I don't think it's fair to have the daily fee plus milage fee..I think it should be one or the other. Also think that the all the vehicles should come equipt with dollys and not be charged extra for one.Rita E.

Every rental has unique reasons and needs. I won an auction and my pickup starter was dead. had to rent a druck for 3 hrs!!! 83.6 miles roundtrip. Paid for a full day!!!! I will be reconsidering ever using uhaul in the future!!!!WESLEY S.

Seriously these people are ridiculous. Can't move the trucks or park them, makes you back it all the way in to there lot instead of just the drop off spot so if anything gets damaged it's on you not them. No jack got trailers. Expects YOU to drop the trailer. Refuses to do anything other than take keys.Alicia D.

Only used U-Haul once and will never again. I have used Penske in the past and will continue to do so. U-Haul only gave me 277 miles to go from Huntington, TN to St Claire, MO. I chose to take a 4 lane highway all the way there for safety reasons. I was not about to take the most direct route which included 2 hours of 2 lane highway! Penske would have never given me 277 miles. Then when I turned in my vehicle to the St Claire, MO office, they mentioned I went over the allotted miles by 56 and charged me 40 cents per mile. Nope, this last rental will end my business relationship with U-Haul.Rick H.

Well Uhaul ended up costing me about a thousand more on my move than expected because I reserved a truck at a location that I couldn't even get ahold of to verify the reservation the day before. So when I called the 800 # they set me up with another location that was way out of the way but the only location with the size of truck I needed and promised to give me 100 extra miles on the truck (what about the gas?). Well when I went to pick the truck up they didn't have the mattress covers I had reserved cause come to find out they sent them to my house I was moving to in the mail and had already charged me for them?...Why would I need them there AFTER I had already moved to the new address? And a bit after the fact no? And already charged me for them as well and then wouldn't return them when I got them cause I didn't have a receipt? So, the only help I had to move the big stuff was that Sunday morning and after all of this fiasco of not having mattress covers, so on and so forth, I now had a truck but nobody to help me move. WOW! So I had to hire help loading and offloading the large items which cost me an arm and a leg and yes my two brand new mattresses BOTH got dirty. One with a grease smudge and the other a worker spilled his coke on it in the truck. Could have been avoided altogether. I have moved 11 times in the past 7 yrs and have used uhaul on almost every single move and NEVER have I run into such a cluster mess up in my life costing me hand over fist! Then when I call in to complain about it I get brushed off and the manager seemed to be annoyed that I had even called in. Little did they know I have spend THOUSANDS with you guys over the past 7 yrs and my lifestyle unfortunately isn't going to change anytime soon which means alot more moving to come. I sure as heck know which moving truck I won't be renting! Oh I forgot to mention....The so called promised mileage and so forth I was given for having to go way out of my way to pick up a truck was never communicated so I had to pay for all that milage and stuff when I dropped the truck off. Everytime I turned around it was another added expense because uhaul dropped the ball. Talk about craziness.Chanel A.
