I-haul never called by 6pm prior to our move day that was scheduled at 8am the next morning. Got a hold on the line at 7:45pm to be told I had to pick up the truck 1hour away from the original plan. Arrive on site I'm given a truck that the muffler is finished, swapped for a second truck that doesn't even start, go back inside to be told the only truck left I don't have the right drivers licence to drive around with. We finally manage something out. Middle of the day i get text message and my drop off location is different from the one given to me on my paper contract in the morning, 40 minutes away from our moving area. Honestly one of the worst customer experiences I've ever faced all businesses included. Hard to believe that a business that respects itself and customers act in such a way. Disappointed, stressful day are understatements from my experience with your company.

The initial mileage was innacurate. It was 57950 mi on the contract and 38350 mi on the odometer. The interior of the cab had sand on the floor and the interior of the windshield was dirty. Hopefully, I was driving by day. At night, it would have been dangerous. Overall, I give you a 4 on 5 because the truck was in good conditioon, easy to drive and not to thirsty! Thanks!

C'était indiqué que le bureau fermait à 21 heures. Quand nous sommes arrivés à 20h30 , il n'y avait personne au bureau et c'était fermé. Comme prévu à , nous avons laissé l'équipement à l'endroit où nous l'avions pris le matin.

J'ai réservé un camion de 20pieds avec 24 couvertures. La journée avant mon déménagement, ils me disent qu'il reste seulement un 10pieds dans un périmètre de 200 km, quand j'avais réservé 2 semaines à l'avance. Donc, j'ai finalement pris le 10 pieds. La journée même du déménagement, il y a un problème avec mon camion et de plus, ils me disent que je ne vais pas voir de couvertures pour mon déménagement le matin même. Donc la moitié de mon stock d'appartement est rendu dans mon nouvelle appartement tout magané. J'ai pris des couvertures de douches et des draps, mais cela n'a pas suffi. J'ai même percé mes draps. Le jour du retour( le lendemain matin), il y avait une file de 50 personnes à l'extérieur, on ne m'a jamais dit qu'il fallait que j'aille voir un préposé pour le retour, donc pour éviter la ligne, j'ai mis les clés du camion dans la boite à clés à cet effet. Et maintenant, deux semaines plus tard, la cerise sur le sunday... Je reçois une facture de 659,96$ pour avoir rapporté mon camion 14 jours plus tard, mais ce n'est pas le cas. J'y suis allée le lendemain (donc 24h comme prévu), mais a cause qu'ils n'ont pas regardé la boite de clés, moi je dois payé 659.96$ pour aucunes raisons valables en plus de tous les problèmes liés au camion et ils m'ont toujours pas envoyé le 50$ de crédits promis pour une location d'un plus petit camion. Je ne ferai plus jamais affaire avec eux. Je vous le déconseille, cela va vous engendrez beaucoup de problèmes.

Je ne vais jamais plus louer chez vous ! Une expérience très pathétique... Réservé mon camion le 5 mars (St-Hubert) pour mon déménagement du 1er mai. 2 jours avant mon déménagement on m'annonce que je dois aller à Trois-Rivières pour un camion... Temps, argent en plus et pour me faire facturer un extra pour le millage. Une compagnie qui respecte leurs clients ne fait pas ça! Grâce à la préposée de Trois-rivière j'ai enfin connu le pourquoi.

Appointement at 8h00 to get my rent truck, had to wait 90 min.. before getting it. Once I get, engine troubleshooting had to switch equipements. Then the inspection report it's not up to date, had to show them before leaving site AFTER more than 2hours later !

When i made my reservation, i requested 2 doz. Furniture pads, but when i picked up the trailer, only 11 were available. It was not a big problem for me, but could have been. Also, I had to go back into the store to get a trailer light extension which was inconvenient. Otherwise the service was good and the equipment was in good working order. I am satisfied with my experience.

Aucun service en ligne en français, le chargement des documents officiels demandes auraient pu être fait avant la prise du véhicule. De plus, il m'a fallu fournir mon passeport en plus de mon permis de conduire si je ne l'avais pas eu sur place je ne pouvais pas prendre le véhicule. Prise du véhicule trop long et fastidieux. Pour le retour du véhicule, l'appareil photo n'a pas fonctionne pour transmettre les informations demandes, je ne sais donc pas ce qui va être facture au final.

Good day, i will describe my latest location to you and at the end i want someone to answer me back and i expect the company to do somenthing about it. First the truck had a check engine one hour after i started using it, i drove 55 miles and it cost me 60 dollars in fuel, that does not make sens, the last time i use it it cost me the samething and i did twice the mileage. The two days i used the veh, it snowed and i got stuck twice in 3 inches of snow, i had to use sand to be able to get out and my girl friend had to get the traction aid because sand was not enough. the tires are no good in the snow period, i considered dangerous to drive it and i had to be extra careful not to cause any accident. So i am not impressed with the location and expecailly the amount of fuel spent for such a short distance. I hope the company will considered reimbursed a certain amount for the expenses and again i would like to have a follow up on this my phone number is 819 604-3353 Denis Fortin contract 86296477

Il y a eu un bris durant mon déménagement fait par hop sur ma commode de chambre neuve. De plus, ma couverture de lit ne m'a pas été remise. Les déménageurs sont partis avec elle croyant que c'était une couverture de déménagement. J'ai fait la demande de retrouver ma couverture, mais on ne m'a jamais rappelé. J'ai relancé et je suis toujours sans nouvelle. Je souhaite être dédommager rapidement. Jean-Sébastien Cardinal.

Nous sommes arrivé sur place et le niveau d'essence était au quart du réservoir seulement (qui remet un camion avec aussi peu d'essence???). De plus, avant de démarrer le moteur, nous avons vérifié l'huile pour nous apercevoir qu'il manquait plus d'une pinte. Il était donc impératif d'en ajouter si nous ne voulions pas endommager le moteur. Quand nous avons fait la mention à la responsable, elle a envoyé un employé vérifier le tout. Toutes ses démarches nous ont retardé de 45 minutes et nous sommes arrivé en retard à notre rendez-vous. Le responsable de la succursale nous a finalement fait un crédit de 15,00 $ pour que nous puissions acheter de l'huile et la mettre nous-même, ce que nous avons fait. Il est inacceptable que l'entretien n'ait pas été fait avant notre arrivé.

J'avais loué un diable et le commis n'avait pas vérifier cet information sur mon contrat. Je suis partie sans diable puisque j'avais oublié également. Je suis revenue plus tard le chercher. Il serait important que les commis vérifient la commande des clients.

Pas de diable à électroménagers à l'ouverture du magasin et sans préavis alors que la réservation était confirmée depuis plusieurs jours. Très mauvaise expérience de déménagement. Reste à voir si la laveuse fonctionne; elle a été échappée faute d'avoir eu les outils promis.

I found the person who served me was not too friendly, and on top of all. Due to their negligence, I ended up having an overcharge of two hundred dollars on my credit card. If I did not call to inquire about that, it would have been taking for good of my card. And, I found that malicious.

I received a very poor service during my visit on site to rent my trailer. They were very condescending when I ask if I could rent an hitch to attach my trailer, instead of telling me that they didn't have one in stock, they said that uhaul didn't rent this type of equipment, which uhaul does according to their website. When I told them that, there response was: « are you working here now? ». Then, I asked to return the trailer in North Vancouver, but when I got there, they told me that it was the Vancouver location on Marine Dr. Now this is a shared responsibility because I should have double validate the return location, but they should've known North Vancouver from Vancouver... To cap it off, nobody came to check on the trailer before I left to validate that everything was working, that it was properly attached, that the lights were working, etc.

I have no complaints about the truck in general, but the mobile pick-up service was terrible. U-Haul should definitely tell users in advance that their lease or passport will be needed for activation. In absence of those, the option of calling contacts is very inefficient. Some of my contacts were not available, others did not speak English. I ended up having to wait for an on-site employee to be available. In the end, I got the truck about 90 minutes later than planned. The language thing is very problematic. The fact that I was linked to this form in English from a French email is annoying, but not catastrophic. The fact that your mobile pick-up service relies on my contact speaking English, and not your employees speaking French, is not excusable. It was my first experience with U-Haul and it might well be the last.
