Made a rÃ©servations april 2nd to pick a truck in Drummondville on june 30th. Called me 24h before to tell me that no truck was availaible. The only option was to pick a truck in Trois-Rivieres.... 75 km away from m'y location! I was suppose to have blankets and a dollie but no such equipement was there for me. The y made me wait on telephone hold for more than 2 hours without answering. NO RELIABLEMichel T.

Le 29, U-Haul m'appelle pour me dire qu'ils n'ont pas de camion pour moi et que je dois aller en chercher un Ã Trois-RiviÃ¨res, l'Ã©tablissement oÃ¹ je devais plutÃ´t le retourner. The truck we reserved (9' truck) was not available, so the person in the office offered us a 15'-truck, but at a higher price. Only after insisting that this is not our fault and Uhaul sent us a confirmation for the 9'-truck did she change the price. However, after returing the truck, we saw that for a part of the duration and for the fee per mile, Uhaul hat charged the bigger truck again and I only got the money back after personally going to the office again. I never experienced such bad customer service before - usually in case of a rental car not being available, I got at least an equivalent car at the same price. Truck cabin was dirty, including water in the door handle. The tank was half filled and we had to return the truck "half-filled" which is quite difficult to estimate. I never experienced this before as usually, trucks are rented "full" and need to be returned full. Pricing was extremely misleading. We reserved for 4h (the minimum duration on offer at this location) and got an estimate for the location for only one hour, which we only realised later. When asking for a 4h location, I would expect to get a quote for this duration, not an artificially low quote that never applies anyway. I will definitely not use Uhaul again and warn anybody to use this company as customer service is bad and pricing misleading.Maximilian M.
This review is not for this specific location but for uhaul in general. The night before the truck pick up our location was changed to 1.5 hours drive away. We contacted the support to change the time to 6 am and we did get the confirmation but once we reached the location it was changed to 8 am. The worst experience with Uhaul in Montreal. I-haul never called by 6pm prior to our move day that was scheduled at 8am the next morning. Got a hold on the line at 7:45pm to be told I had to pick up the truck 1hour away from the original plan. Arrive on site I'm given a truck that the muffler is finished, swapped for a second truck that doesn't even start, go back inside to be told the only truck left I don't have the right drivers licence to drive around with. We finally manage something out. Middle of the day i get text message and my drop off location is different from the one given to me on my paper contract in the morning, 40 minutes away from our moving area. Honestly one of the worst customer experiences I've ever faced all businesses included. Hard to believe that a business that respects itself and customers act in such a way. Disappointed, stressful day are understatements from my experience with your company.Marc-Andre R.

The initial mileage was innacurate. It was 57950 mi on the contract and 38350 mi on the odometer. The interior of the cab had sand on the floor and the interior of the windshield was dirty. Hopefully, I was driving by day. At night, it would have been dangerous. Overall, I give you a 4 on 5 because the truck was in good conditioon, easy to drive and not to thirsty! J'ai rÃ©servÃ© un camion de 20pieds avec 24 couvertures. La journÃ©e avant mon dÃ©mÃ©nagement, ils me disent qu'il reste seulement un 10pieds dans un pÃ©rimÃ¨tre de 200 km, quand j'avais rÃ©servÃ© 2 semaines Ã l'avance. Donc, j'ai finalement pris le 10 pieds. La journÃ©e mÃªme du dÃ©mÃ©nagement, il y a un problÃ¨me avec mon camion et de plus, ils me disent que je ne vais pas voir de couvertures pour mon dÃ©mÃ©nagement le matin mÃªme. Donc la moitiÃ© de mon stock d'appartement est rendu dans mon nouvelle appartement tout maganÃ©. J'ai pris des couvertures de douches et des draps, mais cela n'a pas suffi. J'ai mÃªme percÃ© mes draps. Le jour du retour( le lendemain matin), il y avait une file de 50 personnes Ã l'extÃ©rieur, on ne m'a jamais dit qu'il fallait que j'aille voir un prÃ©posÃ© pour le retour, donc pour Ã©viter la ligne, j'ai mis les clÃ©s du camion dans la boite Ã clÃ©s Ã cet effet. Et maintenant, deux semaines plus tard, la cerise sur le sunday... Je reÃ§ois une facture de 659,96$ pour avoir rapportÃ© mon camion 14 jours plus tard, mais ce n'est pas le cas. J'y suis allÃ©e le lendemain (donc 24h comme prÃ©vu), mais a cause qu'ils n'ont pas regardÃ© la boite de clÃ©s, moi je dois payÃ© 659.96$ pour aucunes raisons valables en plus de tous les problÃ¨mes liÃ©s au camion et ils m'ont toujours pas envoyÃ© le 50$ de crÃ©dits promis pour une location d'un plus petit camion. Je ne ferai plus jamais affaire avec eux. Je vous le dÃ©conseille, cela va vous engendrez beaucoup de problÃ¨mes.Arianne C.

Appointement at 8h00 to get my rent truck, had to wait 90 min.. before getting it. Once I get, engine troubleshooting had to switch equipements. Then the inspection report it's not up to date, had to show them before leaving site AFTER more than 2hours later !YAN G.
When i made my reservation, i requested 2 doz. Furniture pads, but when i picked up the trailer, only 11 were available. It was not a big problem for me, but could have been. Also, I had to go back into the store to get a trailer light extension which was inconvenient. Otherwise the service was good and the equipment was in good working order.
