I called a few days earlier to make sure I could drop off on a Sunday. Told I would be given a gate code at pick up. They had no idea about a code. Drop off is surrounded by a gate with no where to leave keys. Sheer luck someone was behind the gate and after I flagged him down he opened the gate. Otherwise I would have had to drive the truck an hour away and return next day. After dropping the truck off there was no way to exit. I had to climb the 6' fence to get out. If uhaul was expecting me it seems like the gate code could have been part of the exit text, or someone could have called me.KATHERINE P.

Christy and Carol at Safe Store on Hwy 22 were very accommodating by meeting all of my needs for renting a cargo van for work purposes. I have rented a storage unit from them for over 11 years and they know me as a good customer. I was very aggravated by the UHaul representor Darryl from Picayune, MS with the phone number 601-347-4348. I had given them my Company's credit card but gave them the wrong CV number. Carol called me at 2:03 on the 1/19 but i missed her call and was listening to her message and 2:07, 1/19 your Rep called and said "Carol is trying to reach you for the CV number"....he acted like I was ignoring her call and trying to get away with something which made me feel horrible for her and me. I hope this isn't a normal practice and we should all get an apology from him.Carin G.
Daryl the field manager was excellent, he went over and beyond to help us rent a trailer, even working after hours to make sure we were safe with uhauls's equipment. Christy the office attendant stayed after hours until we got there to pick up the trailer and the other attendant ( I think her name was Carol) helped to check us in and was very efficient. Are not there when supposed to be, do not return calls, say they don't handle trailer returns. Despite having returned one there before and was listed as a drop off place online and for me to pick from by uhaul. How to improve? Drop them as a uhaul contractor. Worse than worthless. This place has me completely rethinking if I will use uhaul again in 6 weeks as I was planning. The time I spent trying to get their job jone was unacceptable.DANA C.
The van was the nicest I had ever gotten. However, even doing the app check in, they make you go inside, stand there forever, and sign paperwork.... even though you already did everything and uploaded your license in the app. It's so dumb. I don't want to talk to people and waste time.Kylie F.

The location and van were very good. The site employee was great and very helpful but her internet connection was VERRRY slow both days (pick up and drop off) so both times it took 15 - 20 minutes to do everything on her computer.Ricardo E.

I was told at pickup the rental was good for 24 hrs. Was charged for 2 days, not one. That is the only reason you're not getting an excellent review. If it was the location's error, then more customer service training is needed.William L.

As mentioned prior the grease was thick on all trailer parts, so I asked the person at the drop off to help me,given I was going to work. She said she knew nothing about unhooking trailers ! .. so I did it and had then to find a place to have the grease removed .. again .. yes this was a disaster.Steve B.

Worst customer service I have every experienced. Sales lady was rude, cursing several times, and disrespected myself and my colleague. She then told me I could not bring the trailer to the closest location to where I was moving, I had to drive an additional 62 miles out of the way to bring it back to that location. Then in an attempt to make up for how she acted, she said since I had to turn it in about an hour late, I would not be charged the second day, which I was charged anyway. I have used uhaul several times and this is by far the worst.Jack G.

The move did not start off well, as I'd refused the additional coverage and yet it was added and my card already charged. When I brought this to the attention of the rep, she reversed the entire charge and was about to charge my card a second time. Knowing that the reversal charge would not immediately be available, I informed the rep that I did not have enough to cover double charges. She continued to say it would be immediately reversed on my card, to which I told her it would not happen. We finally contacted Uhaul and they advised not to recharge my card at that time, but I spent the 4 days sweating whether my card would be cleaned out by another charge. In the end, the charges were reconciled without a double charge.Edward P.

Horrible experience on website- kept crashing while making reservation. UHaul Computers were down when I? went to pick up, so it took an hour to pick up a $20 trailer. Ridiculous. Staff was very nice and apologetic, but UHAUL SUCKS! I? won't be back.Noel D.

Pathetic customer service! Some of the worst I've ever received by a business! In my case, the lack of knowledge by the staff, and overall lack of their caring for customers at the hands of U-Haul's TOTAL screw up, the rental should have been free! I had 5 men hired to assist in the move being paid by the hour, and because of U-Haul's numerous mistakes in handling this reservation, it cost me several hundred dollars in labor for lost time! Unacceptable! The truck should have been rented for free because of U-Haul's mistakes!ann W.

Terrible service when picking up and dropping off from different employees. What an attitude....Nice guy did help me unhook trailer. Said he does not worker but "helps" inside. I will spend my money else way and will certainly not recommend to my friends.Claude L.
The truck was reserved for 12:15 via internet for us to pick up at this location. My husband came home from work at lunch and we headed over to pick it up--only to find that the facility was closed for lunch until 2:00! He did not have that long for lunch, so I had to take him to work. I later had to go back to get the key as he would not be able to make it back before they closed. Then in the evening I had to go to work to pick him up and drive him to pick up truck! In total I wasted about 1.5 hours which could have been easily avoided it these hours were posted! Why would it even be an option to pick up at 12:15 if they facility is closed!?! This was very frustrating and cost US money in gas and ruined our packing plans. VERY disappointing. In addition, it was not explained how much it would be for additional mileage-which it ends up wasn't any. The receptionist was on a personal call when I entered and she didn't seem to want to be bothered waiting on me.Karen B.

Rescheduled drop off location to this location (my original choice). Returned unit on Sunday. The location was closed and gated. Had to squeeze into gate to find number on door to get access code to drop off truck. The lot is very small. Had to utilize several spots to park truck. I want to discuss with uhaul the increased price I paid when I changed reservation but then changed back to original plan. I was told I still had to pay double the original quote. I had rented a 15 ft. truck. The truck I ordered was 6.5 miles closer to my house. Uhaul made the change I didn't. So I had to pay $1.09 a mile extra for those 13 miles. I feel I should be credited those monies. Thank you.raymond L.
First of all let me just say this, this was the worst experience I have had with a move. The lady at this location did not tell us when we had to return the truck she pretty much threw our stuff at us and we were on our way. The gas level on the paper was wrong which caused us to have to put more gas in it when we dropped it off then what it had in it when we picked it up. The gas gage was off by an 1/8th of a tank. The lady didn't come out to the truck with us and make sure there was not any damage to the truck. I paid way to much MONEY to rent this truck to have the level of service I had. WILL NOT RENT FROM U-HAUL EVER AGAIN.......Timothy L.
