I had bad experience with self checking. Where I had to spend like half an hour in my first location where they sent me to because I was one of the few opened on Christmas Day but then the keys weren't in the safe box where they supposed to be so I had to call them then they sent me to a different location which was around 7 miles from the first one .Mouloud H.

there was nowhere to park, so a man from a different auto shop told me to park in front of the door. then, as i'm out picking stuff up, i get a call from integral auto saying i'm blocking the door and i need to move. maybe some communication between the two would be helpful? also the furniture dolly i ordered did NOT come with my rentalmaira M.

The dollies I ordered were not available at the location where I got the truck. I had changed my pickup day, so that is understandable, but it would have been helpful to know I needed to make another stop to get my equipment and supplies.Joan W.
Location wasn't open at the time of reservation for counter pick-up. Waited an hour to get the vehicle. Later spoke to the manager/owner and was told that shop opens at 10AM, not 9AM as listed on U-Haul.Alexander W.
The experience was a train wreak from the start to present. I was initially told to pick up from 4833 Thornton ave, Fremont. When I got there I was redirected to 300 mowry ave. This U-Haul was very small, and it did not have the dolly I ordered. I was reimbursed for the dolly but I needed it. I was very sore the next day from the lack of a dolly. I also realized that I would be coming in late, so I called U-Haul customer service to let them know. I was told I would not be charged. The next day I was charged for it, A 30 minute phone call to U-Haul support Resulted in the issuing of a $30 refund which would come in a few days. I figured that that was the end of the situation. Three days later, today, I was charged a $56.99 by U-Haul. There is still no refund in sight. This unexpected charge caused me to overdraft on my bank account, I know have to settle things with both U-Haul and Wells Fargo because of the situation.Weston D.

Overcharged our rental due to miscalculating our return date and time. No one was available to help return the truck. Spoke to a Customer rep on 4/29 and he told me he was there and told me we needed to use the mobile app. We've called 3 times over a week period and have waited to have the "regional director" call us back to have our billing corrected with no success.Andrew K.

I was overcharged. My MI out was 701780 which i spoke when i took the vehicle. but i was over charged from meter reading 70176 with 12 miles. but actually i drove 8 miles. I mentioned it when before taking the vehicle as well. So please check these things before giving service.Malaya K.

I had my original pickup time at 6:45pm, but due to all the paper work delay, I've picked up the truck after 7pm. For return, I was told that the facility is closed at 7pm and asked me to drop off the keys. I did the same at 7pm next day but was not aware of the additional online process to finish the return. Later around 8:30pm, I got a call from the store representative regarding the same and I told him that I've dropped off the keys already and he asked me to finish the online process. So, I've finished the process after a while and as a result I got charged for the extra day through the online system. Please address the issue.Sandeep A.

Location was unprofessional. It is a cluttered series of auto repair / auto body shops and very poorly kept. Office was an un-kept room with a desk in the middle. Office hours very irregular and when I called in for final bill got a V.M. say box was full and would not accept message! Gentleman that filled out rental info with me was courteous, and I am sure he was just and employee. I will never return to this facility.Michael H.

Very professional and prompt service. The truck was ready and the paper work was a breeze. I was very upset about my initial order getting cancelled at the last minute, however. I don't know if it was UHaul or the dealer at 15595 Washington Av San Lorenzo, CA 94580, Valero Gas that screwed it up. But I got an email the day before moving telling me that I would need to pick up the truck from another location but the problem was that they opened at noon, not at 7 as I initially requested, which screwed up all of my arrangement. I never got any call from the Valero Gas regarding my appointment either.Hopil C.
