The truck was dirty and got dirt on my stuff. Staff wasn't very great. Poorly staffed. Had to wait an hour to get my truck when I made a 24 hour reservation and she over charged me for the rental. Not happy or pleased at all.

Tell customers that when they turn in the car after hours for them to complete the online form to return the car before returning the keys through the mail slots. The online application DOES NOT allow you to upload photos so it has to be a new photo you take while you’re uploading. We did not know that and had to go through calling customer service to email the pictures of gas and our returned dolly.

When I dropped off my uhaul they informed me that I should have received a military discount from my pickup location, however I did not receive any type of discount for my military services.

When I arrived to pick up my truck which was reserved for 1;30 pm I found that the location was closed for lunch from 1-2 pm. When I came. Ack at 2 pm, the location was still locked and the employee didn't return until 2:10 pm amd was not apologetic at all for being late.

The woman working our location (Jane) was rude, and unprofessional. She stood right outside the entrance smoking, and then proceeded to make us wait 30 minutes, while she helped two customers the arrived after us, and then had to clean the truck and mess around on her phone, while we waited because she was too busy smoking to have it done before our actual pick up time. We had movers set up and arrived more than 20 minutes before our pick up time, because we were on such a tight schedule. We also booked movers through your suggested moving service and they cancelled two hours before they were supposed to be there, with no replacements. All the other movers I called were booked, and we were left with no help for our big/heavy items, after booking weeks in advance. Which is a big deal due to my husbands heart condition, among other things... We were left stuck and struggling more than once because of your company’s shortcomings (as well as obviously poor management at our pick up location), lack of professionalism, and then again, by the movers your company recommended! This was the absolute worst experience we have ever had with U-Haul and we have used them for several moves and services. So disappointed...I can’t even explain the situations and difficulty this caused, or how helpless we felt, after being let down in so many ways, by a company we thought we could count on. We had no back up anything because we had already paid YOUR company and thought we had everything covered and taken care of. I will not be recommending U-Hauls services, in fact I doubt I’ll ever use them again myself.

Yes I had a problem with getting a rental and the they said I had to call 1 800 U -Haul, I did that right there and had the phone on speaker with the person serving me listening also, when I got in contact with the office, the lady on the other end of the phone was very rude, I myself and the employee look at each and they said hang, I really wish I had that person name.

I dropped off my rental equipment on a holiday, so there was no one there. The drop off information was vague, so I basically winged it and went with my gut instinct.

My request was for 1100 am at a location less than 5 miles from my house. All was changed to pu at 2:15 and a location 21 miles away. So needless to say that caused a lot of rearranging my help and COST ME an ADDITIONAL 42 miles. And at .69 cents a mile that’s a big difference. I was that 42 miles credited back to me.

There was pre-existing damage on the truck I rented, that should already be noted on the form so the next renter doesn't have to. It takes time to note all the damage (dings, dents, scratches, etc...) & I was told unless it's a big gouge, it's not an issue. Also, I'm glad I took the time to read the notice on the hand truck which said something about a plastic barrier but there was nothing - there was supposed to be a zip tie holding the 2 plates together to show if it was used or not - I did not know that but glad I took a picture & mentioned it because I would have been charged use of a hand truck that I didn't use.

Maybe the only the I could suggest is contacting the customer a day after (not only a day before pick up) the reservation was made. Just to make clarifications what’s the period of time the truck is needed and so on. But overall our experience was great. Move went smoothly thanks to everyone’s help. Thank you

The only issue was the car dolly that had to be picked up in Jacksonville NC. The dolly was in need of service with one of the tie down ratchets so dry (lack of lubricant) it would not function. If a neighbor had not had some lubricant to use we would not have been able to move that day. So a little disappointed in the condition of the dolly.

I reserved an appliance dolly which was not available. However, I made my reservation at another location and it was switched to Iron Guard. Maybe in the switch the dolly reservation got lost.
