Tammy and the rest of the staff at Ironbridge Self Storage are very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They make the contract process work. I feel if the system uhaul uses for rental is very cumbersome but the staff at this location works hard to make for a good customer experience. I have used this location several times and they will continue To be my”go to” location for Uhaul rentals as long as they have what I need. Thanks for your great customer service!

This location went above and beyond to help me out because the actual u haul locations are shitty. They treated me like an actual human being and understood exactly where I was coming from when corporate you couldn’t.

I scheduled to pick up the truck before opening hours and was assured that the process would be seemless and that I would receive a text message from UHAUL with instructions on what I would have to do to drive away with the vehicle. I also completed the Express Check-In process online the day before pickup. I never received a text from UHAUL, but the local rep did give me the code for the lock box at the location, which allowed me to get the truck and drive away. Approximately 2 hours later I received a voice mail from Ironbridge Self Storage informing me I had to return to their location and complete the check-out process or the vehicle would be considered stolen. This put me behind by about three hours and added miles to the limit allowed by UHAUL that put me over the mileage limit.

The people at the place were great but UHaul changed the location to one much further away from our house and also the size of the truck just a few hours before we were suppose to pick it up. I did not want such a large truck as I could not get it close to where we needed to load and unload so we had to carry items a lot further. Very unhappy about the change of location and size, especially as we paid per mile!

The only reason i gave it three stars is because of Nina who atleast tried to help me and i felt as if she was the only one concerned about my rental experience. The area manager was no help either! I waited over 2 and half hours at the lot with my kids before I had to ask for a new truck is ridiculous! Waiting on him to make a decision cost me most of my day and moving time as well! He then sent me to another location where he told me that he was going to redo my reservation and when i got there i still had to do all of my info AGAIN, mind you I made this reservation over two weeks ago online. This was the worst experience ever! Make sure your trucks work for the amount of money that people have to pay to rent a truck! Moving is stressful enough let alone having a terrible experience with U-Haul makes it even stressful!

Give X amount of FREE miles before charging mileage or request that the truck be brought back with at least half a tank of gas unless you got it with UNDER a half tank.

I got the price and filled out the paperwork online for a 5 X 9 utility, open, trailer. The young girl in the office took too long to figure out my order and never did. They were coming up with a 90 dollar price as compared to a 60 dollar price on line. The manager lady took over and got me going. She was very helpful because I had my U Haul hitch installed the same day in Chantilly and I couldn't get the hitch to slide into the receiver. after 20 minutes, some W D 40, a hammer and the help of the manager, I was able to get it ready to attach the trailer. I was under a time crunch because I had to get to the carrier to pick up a delivery in a crate.
