PHILIP GFor folks who run Newfoundland are very timely and very friendly, a pleasure to deal with. Rented a car trailer. A word of caution for those doing the same: if the ground is wet or any dampness present on the ramps be very careful as your rear tires may not get good traction and could start to spin causing the vehicle to slide sideways on the ramps and might fall off. It occurred to me after the fact that adhesive backed bathtub traction strips or a roll of adhesive backed course grit sandpaper may be helpful to stick on the ramps before driving up the trailer. The U-Haul people suggested using long strips of rubber backed carpet to lay on the ramps.

However, I don’t appreciate U-haul taking my reservation at one location And then switching me to another This is the Computer Age Stop making promises you can’t keep This is the second time it’s happened to me It would be like me promising to pay you $50 to rent a car dolly But then only paying you $25 Clearly you don’t give a shit about your customer’s inconvenience… So long as YOU get paid Good luck with that

Elissa LI needed the trailer for one day on Monday morning only, so picked it up the previous day at 12 noon on a holiday Sunday because U-Haul business operation closed 12 noon. I will next time plan my use better to avoid paying for a full extra day for returning it at 3:00 p.m.Monday.
ROBERT DI dropped the trailer off after hours. I have received excellent customer service from them in the past. The addition of N/A (not applicable) would be helpful in these surveys.

GARY GNo windshield washer fluid. Truck had just slightly more than a 1/4 tank of gas. Price was insane especially when the mileage allotment was less than what was needed to get from pick up to drop off. The counter person was nice, but I don't ever want to rent from UHaul again.
SARAH GEverything was great. We had reserved a trailed at the dealer in Tafton. We arrived at 2:20 pm on Monday to pick it up, and the sign on the door said CLOSED. They are only open Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10 am-2 pm. We had driven 90 minutes to get there. We couldn't believe the hours were so limited. Thank goodness we found JDs and received excellent customer service.

ERNEST BLocation was closed at the time of my return. I returned the truck using the U-Haul app which I have done before at this location. No issues. This drop off location is very convenient.

Kevin WI was quite disappointed to have my original location be unmanned and reliant upon a phone. I got a server error. Good thing my reservation had been transferred to a manned location. The attendant said I could use my phone and do for myself, but again I had a server error. The attendant was helpful. It was very frustrating to have to drive several miles away to another location than where I had reserved.
CHARLOTTE LThe staff two ladies were very knowledgeable and extremely helpful , polite and professional. It was a very cold day and they took there time showing me how to hook things up securely and safely. They never rushed us out even though it was freezing is what I’m trying to say. My compliments to a great team.
Carlo CI picked up the truck drove it to my house, loaded it up and then it wouldn’t start. Tried jumping it for one hour. Tow truck was on its way and finally got it started an hour later.
Dawn TThe mileage was recording incorrectly and I am being over charged for miles I did not use. I am awaiting an adjustment.

PAUL LShow up on time. My appointment was at 9am and I arrived 15 minutes early. Fortunately the field area manager was waiting in the parking lot with my trailer and was kind enough to process my paperwork while we waited for the location mgr to arrive. He called her at 9am and she eventually arrived at 9:20. Never apologized to either of us for making us wait. I was very appreciative of the field manager for going out of his way to provide service but disappointed with the location rep’s lack of professionalism.

William TThe reservation was for a 10 foot truck. The lady was very nice but called at 9:15 PM to teel me the truck was not back. I had to either find another one somewhere else or change to a 15 foot truck. Our reservation was for 7AM the next day. We took the 15 foot to ensure that we had a truck. at 10 PM when we picked it up, the 10 foot was being returned as we were pulling out. Ther would not have been time to change the truck or have the 10 foot truck cleaned and ready for us. It all worked out in the end, but we had to pay more for the bigger truck.

steven dThere needs to be some type of jack on these trailers to unhook and rehook. Way to heavy to lift on your own.
KEVIN BI returned the truck at 4pm. The location was supposed to be open until 5pm but no one was there anymore. They luckily have a key drop box, so I didn't had to come back. Your webform has a bug, as I selected N/A for location, personnel, and recommendation, but with this selection I cannot submit the form. So I selected No as default, though I cannot judge this for above reason.
