Tiffany bent over backwards to accommodate me when my pick up time went from 6 am to 4pm! The app wouldn't let me check my truck in due to IT maintenance on uhaul mainframe. No improvement needed other than I needed to read my contract. I didn't realize I didn't have to fill the whole gas tank up vs what I used but corporate gave me a credit! Tiffany at pick up even stayed 2 hours later for me to pick up. Best customer service ever at at George SC!â¤ï¸Thank you Tiffany for your abounding kindness and helpâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸Victoria A.

When I called J and M motors to ask about a rental, they told me I needed to reserve the equipment online. I found the latest pickup was 3:45 pm and reserved a trailer, moving blankets and bought the Uhaul insurance. I arrived at J and M motors at 3:30 and had to wait outside of their locked office until 4:25 when the renting employee showed up. When I arrived at the location to load up the trailer, I discovered that they had only put 8 moving blankets in the trailer, and four of them were wet and dirty.JOHN S.

Clean the windows and assure customers the inside has been cleaned and sanitized. We should not had to scrub the windows inside and out, I don't think they had been cleaned in 1 year. The interior was disgusting- had to clean all that too.Denise S.

The font on the contract prints too small. drop off INSTRUCTIONS should be Larger letters-IF I MUST CALL YOU DURING BUSINESS HOURS, WHEN I ARRIVE AT MY DESTINATION...I was not dropping your equipment in the middle of the night at an unknown destination, so brought it closer to my home... IT WAS RENTED for 3 days. You got in back in less than 24 hours. She wouldnt even take advantage of that, just wanted to charge us. (Since the drop off is another location.) The local "owner" in Saint George, SC told my husband she would charge him to accept the trailer. no thanks. He drove it home. Had to CALL you again.. I SAT ON HOLD AGAIN just to confirm the drop off location..so SHE WOULD ACCEPT THE TRAILER without a charge. Then we drove BACK to the UHAUL DEALER in St. George, SC. Like she couldnt have done that THE FIRST TIME he came to drop it off?..I told her the drop off CANT BE WRONG if it was NOT DESIGNATED. Stuff like this makes one try another company next time- ALMOST 2 HOURS ON THE PHONE and 2 TRIPS TO DROP IT OFF -2 DAYS EARLY.DEBORAH P.

The first place 1 800 U-Haul reserve the trailer for me at the guy didn't want to give me the trailer he must rented a lot for local use tried to convince me that the van that I was hauling towing I wouldn't fit on the trailer but in fact it would ended up getting the exact same trailer at J&m and they were wonderful staff was great you guys need to talk to that other company trailers for rent give it up what kind of computer system it'll tell you which one I reserved it at first and I'm not talkin about J & m they were finerobert D.

Unfortunately the vehicle was not clean in the inside and there was a problem with the vehicle. It was extremely loud, only to find out later that the catalytic converter has been stolen. The location was extremely helpful with the rental process. Just wish they had a smaller rental vehicle. The 19.99 verses the 39.99.Annette M.

Elle contact U-Haul, qui eux aussi essaie de rejoindre le reprÃ©sentant, toujours pas rÃ©ponse. Elle me trouve un autre trailer Ã +- 20 milles de ma position. Quand je repasse devant J&M Motor Sales vers 11h45, le reprÃ©sentant est lÃ . Je lui dit que j'avais une location pour 9hres. On dirait dit que cela lui passait 20 pi. par dessus la tÃªte (espÃ¨ce d'imbÃ©cile). Suis parti de lÃ 11hr30 soit 2h30 en retard. En plus, Ã ma rÃ©servation, on m'a dit que je pouvais laissÃ© le trailer soit QuÃ©bec ou LÃ©vis. Le mardi 3 dÃ©c. vers 9h30, une proposÃ© au traffic m'appelle pour me dire de laisser le trailer Ã QuÃ©bec et non LÃ©vis (cerise sur le sundae) sinon j'aurais des frais supplÃ©mentaires et bien lÃ , elle a entendu le diable au tÃ©lÃ©phone et m'a raccrochÃ© la ligne au nez. I was not walked out to the vehicle to see if there was any damage prior to me taking possession. Also wasnt shown the fuel level and later realized that the paperwork left in the vehicle was didderent than the fuel gauges. Be cautious when picking up a rental from here.Colondia L.

If you're just dropping off a truck this location is very convenient. However there is no one there typically during open hours. But they are very responsive when you call the cellphone number posted on their window. The office phone voice mail stays full.Priscilla S.

I was not happy that the rate charged was for a 4 day period, and no refund for returning after just 2 days. I would think there would be a daily rate charged versus a 4 day rate with no allowance for less time needed.Pat K.

When I called the number on the door, the person who answered was pretty rude and sounded frustrated that I was calling. Finally got my trailer about 45 minutes later. The service of the girl who attended us at the premises, is an excellent person, very kind, very professional, helped us with the vehicle that we really need to not spend so much money. I am much more than grateful for the service of her personally, and I help her with the man who accompanied her to install the trailer towing car to reach the state of Florida. They need more people like them in their premises so that they never get a bad reputation anywhere in the United States of America.
