Shop opened late, owner/employee did not wear a mask, store smelled heavily of cigarette smoke, water leaking everywhere- including over extension cords and other electrical cords, our truck was double booked so thank goodness we arrived first, no paper contracts were given or offered (did receive electronic versions through email), our truck was not cleaned or sanitized before given to us (we know this since the shop opened late and the previous customer returned it overnight), there was a dolly left in the truck which we did not need so it only got in our wayMadison P.

Convenience store is not the cleanest, but they were very helpful. Don't really like having to input personal information on the app on the workers personal cell phone, but that is where the info for the rental contract was located. It worked just fine and he emailed us the contract and receipt immediately.Lanette S.

The truck gas tank was not at a quarter tank and it was closer to empty and I had to fill it up to get to my destination. This meant putting in close to $100 worth of gas in this truck. But my trip only used just a little over a quarter of a tank so that means that had the tank been filled, I would not have paid so much for gas but would have made the trip. Also, they were not sure where the equipment was that I had rented. It was in the back of the truck the whole time so this tells me that they did not inspect the truck since the equipment was there as well as a whole bunch of blankets as well. Also, without knowing this until I got home, my wife, who was driving behind me, told me that the taillight was broken on the truck. So make left hand turns was dangerous since no one could see I was doing it. But my wife was behind me and helped me. This needs to be looked at.Brandon F.

This was my worst Uhaul experience. Not only did I get a truck that has no working windshield wipers (when we're experiencing a snow storm that left 4.9 inches of snow) but the truck started shaking badly once you get up to 45-50 miles per hour. I didn't realize that problem until I made my first load of the day at around 10pm on New Year's Day. Unfortunately, the same snow storm slowed our loading considerably. The extremely uncomfortable ride on the worst moving day of the year did not help anything. Because of the weather I was forced to keep the crappy truck another day to finish up my move. I paid full price, plus an additional $85 in optional insurance I bought to protect that worthless truck. I wasn't offered any discounts for the poor working condition of the truck you provided me. I know that Uhaul isn't responsible for the weather, but the poor experience I had will definitely impact my decision to use Uhaul for my next move. I apologize for my rant and thank-you for taking the time to read it. I hope it will impact future customer service experiences.Joseph R.

Great customer service, had the vehicle warmed up and ready, and even upgraded the vehicle size! I needed a 20ft and online it said they only had a 15ft, I booked the 15ft and he found a 20 ft, just what I needed. Will recommend Janeway Mart to everyone.ERIC S.
