I won't be using UHaul for my moving needs again. I'm very displeased at how the equipment is overbooked and reservations are changed the day before due to equipment availability, regardless of making a reservation well in advance. My pickup location was moved from 10 minutes away from my home to a 45 minute drive away (1 hour and 30 minutes total round trip just to get the truck). Moving is already stressful without having to worry about where to pick up equipment. You all need to do better at insuring the customers' preferences and locations are respected. This along with a negative experience with personnel last year has made me not want to use UHaul again.

The person inside didn't know how to help me go through the return process. I then called to get things resolved after I put the key in the dropbox without taking pictures of the gas level. I was charged for dropping off at the wrong location (not true), and charged for completely emptying the tank (I had filled it passed the point it started at). I replied to the email if I had questions about the charges, and we're now on 6 days with no response. The worst service I've had.

Everything went fine...location is 2 blocks from our home and we only had to go 1 mile. Staff was courteous. Truck was clean.

When I went the night before to confirm time to pick up truck, the attendant was EXTREMELY RUDE. Told me not only did I not have a reservation, but that they had no more trucks. Attendant would/could not assist in any way. When I did manage to confirm my reservation it was for wrong size truck and was charged more for rental then the agreed upon price.

I had a very pleasant experience at Jasleen Uhaul. The truck was clean and worked well for what I needed. I had rented a 15' truck with ramp. Rated the location above average due to the service from Lori (hope I spelled it correctly). She was very helpful when I had to change the time of my pickup. She was also very friendly and the service was fast when I picked up the truck.

Requesting to pickup truck in one location, however was not available, had to pickup in another, was a local move, then was charged .99 per mile each to just to pick it up as well as drop off. Shouldn't there be some sort of compensation/discount on mileage charge?

My pick up at this specific location was an excellent experience. However, I made a reservation at a different location (Waterford, WI) and the truck was not ready for pick up and no one was around to get the keys from. Had to then call Uhaul which then had to track down an available truck. This inconvenience led to a late move start and had to go out of way to pick up / drop off at the different location. Rating should reflect a very poor experience for the first location. As noted, this location (501 Pine) was an excellent experience.

I scheduled my reservation over a month prior to the day I rented the truck. They asked me what time I wanted to pick up the truck I said 07:00. The day before I was going to pick it up I got a text that the truck will be at the site at 09:00. I went to this location at 09:00 and they told me that my truck did not come in and it won't be back until the following day. This completely messed up the plans I had and hotel stays that I had made. It wasn't until 11:00 that day that they found me a truck and had to drive an additional 40 miles to get. Plus I originally ordered a 10 foot truck and they gave me a 26 footer. Didn't need that for the trip to drop off my kid to college. They took the reservation but didn't have a vehicle when I needed it. Also when I did get the truck the guy tells me that he had two more reservations coming in with no trucks. Sad, unfortunately it sounds like this is the norm. The company needs to change its name to “U-Haul with no truck”. Good luck everyone they were cheap but not worth it. I would pay double next time rather than wait 4 hours and drive 40 miles to get it.

Everyone was confused about what time I was picking truck up. It took way to much time to pick up truck.

Either they had a bad computer or horrible internet connection, took over 10 minutes for the transaction to go through. I could see the computer icon spinning and spinning for minutes.
