I have rented U-Haul's several times over the years without incident or problem. Well this time the computer was down, the clerks were very busy so I was patient. I only had this vehicle for a few hours and after checking my bank statement I was charged twice. Clerks need a little more training and I NEED a REFUND!!! My #828.334.5900

I tried to reserve a truck two times on Friday. When I went to pick up the truck on Saturday morning, I had no reservation.The staff was unprofessional, and the experience was unnerving. Will never return to this business even to buy a pack of gum.

I was charged $10 for padding and dolly I did not rent nor ask for. Only rented and asked for truck. The man behind the counter said I needed to talk to the owner of the Uhaul part, Steve. Steve said he reimbursed the $10 but I do not have a receipt he said he emailed me. The gas level was wrong, therefore I put in more gas than was the beginning level and not reimbursed for that. I will not used this location again. I don't feel I need to check everything on the receipt to make sure I was charged correctly. Thank goodness I did.

Didn’t like the upsell they did with my fiancé when I ran to the bathroom but otherwise good location. I’m glad I booked with Jason’s the other location had no truck despite having reserved in advance. This store had plenty. Kinda wish the preauth on my card was released already though

Dealer puts Uhaul last on hiss list to do. Operates a convince store and Uhaul customers have to wait. Gave NO help to support or load pads and Dollie with the rental.

You need to not charge the premium rate for drop off only to find out that you have to drop off in another city which is a lower rate but you are charged the higher rate. We paid more to drop off in Boone, NC but once we were there and paid the higher rate to drop off in Boone Uhaul instructed us to drive down the mountain to drop off in Lenoir, NC.

Did not assist in trailer connection. When I asked if they could inspect to make sure the the connection was correct, I was told by the gentleman that he knew nothing about trailer hookups.

I thought i was renting a truck in Boone, was not told i was picking up the truck in Lenoir until asking the question several times the day before. by the way if you don't return your truck to an authorized dealer they will not buy back the extras as they tell you they will. All-in-all u Haul's business model is pathetic, will never use them again.

Went to this location on 6-12-19 and reserved a 6x12 trailer for 6-13-19. went to pick up and it was not there. It had been rented out. Had to call uhaul rep. He found a trailer at landmark that was out of our way to our trip. We were at least 90min late to our appointment. Landmark self storage was nice to us and helpful.

. My problem was with u-haul reservation. 1) I did not get the location requested. When I confirmed my reservation I was told a new location or no truck. 2.) I get to the New location ,which was totally in the opposite direction that I was going and they do not have the truck available that I reserved. 3) Also no furniture pads available that I ordered.4) I am finally given a larger truck which turned out to be too large for the area we were going. Overall I was very disappointed with u-haul. The clerks at this location apologized for everything. I do not blame them. U-haul did not follow thru with my reservation. My overall experience was unacceptable.

I had reserved the truck in Boone, but had to drive down the mountain to Lenoir to pick-up the truck. Then when I got to the pick-up location, it was understaffed, and I had to wait 15 minutes to even talk to anyone there. Overall, it took almost 2 extra hours to pick up the truck in Lenoir rather than getting it in Boone where I reserved it -- resulting in my missing an event later in the day. This is unprofessional and unacceptable. I will never rent from U-Haul again if I ever have another alternative. What can you do? Honor the reservation

I have put in a complaint to U-Haul because we cleaned out our unit and we turned it in and there was nothing said about an additional charge except for the day extra we had the U-Haul... Later we found out we were charge for cleaning! This is definitely an unfair charge!

Dana, at the Jason Mart location, was very patient and helpful. My original moving plans had fallen through with another moving company. Dana was able to provide a truck for me in split second notice. I really appreciated that and the way she handled everything with calmness and patience.

The agent was not aware of the option to self-check in on my phone. I completed the entire check-in process, including processing payment on my debit card and the money showing deducted on my bank account. Since the agent did not have to process anything on her side in this type of transaction it confused her so she reversed my transaction and reprocessed it causing a second payment of $187.59 to be debited from my bank account. Now I do not have enough in my account for the house payment which was due that evening. I did my part correctly but due to improperly trained agents I am now late and having to pay late percentages. Very unssatisfied and disappointed. For a transaction that I should have only been inside the store for a couple minutes to get the key, I was in the store waiting on the agent to make several calls to managers to figure out what she needed to do for almost an hour...52 total minutes!!! Unacceptable!!

They charged a $100 deposit which we did not get back, and an extra $62 upon returning. So we paid $162 total to move locally when the advertisement was $39 plus 0.79/mileage. Also both times we’ve used Jason’s Mart, we’ve had issues with poor customer service. Will not use again.

Rented a 4 x 8 trailer. The trailer was in good condition and clean but: 1. The trailer's lights cord was too short to reach my vehicle's plug in, had to buy an extension. 2. the diameter on the safety chains hooks were too narrow to fit my vehicle. had to buy two removable chain links and hooked those to my vehicle instead of using the chain hooks. 3. The origin U-Haul location did not have any of these items, so I had to go to an auto part store to buy them before I was able to take the trailer on the road.

Gentleman who was running the store was somewhat rude. When I wasnt sure what my equipment number was, he told me to get my dad inside to tell me. I'm a 27 year old woman and the reservation was under MY name. Chauvinistic and rude now. I found the trailer number, gave it to him, and he wrote it down and told me I could leave. And to my surprise, i was hit with a "wrong dropoff location" charge. I'm not sure how that's even possible when I didnt set a preferred location and it was in the set area code. Terrible customer service on his end.

Pick up and drop off went smoothly. Didn't like being on hold for 37 minutes waiting for customer service. But there was a hurricane hitting the NC coast in there defense. Nice car trailer though.

There was nobody working at this location. Your website told me to return here, but my printed contract told me to go to a different location. That location was a convenience store with a staff of one. Nobody to help. I had to re-park his other trailers to make room for mine. With no help. Also he had never heard of the box buyback promise. He referred me to a regional manager who never answered his phone or got back to me.

This was the rental from hell. First I was told that my truck was not there. Then I find out if was but it was not checked in and very dirty. The cab was dirtier than the bed. Mud all over the inside. No one seemed to know what was going on. Very unprofessional. The only good thing was the location.

Contract said we picked up truck at 8 but it was 10: 15 because they had to go to other location to get truck got truck back at 10:30 and charged me another not very helpful if you need a truck go to Ryder or penske

The young lady there was spot on. . 2 thumps up. I recommend this location to anyone in the Lenoir NC area. for fast rental, courteous customer service, easy access, availability of equipment and hours of operation. in and out in less then 10 min.

There was a terrible, urine, smell in the cab. I had to ride with the windows open. I didn't say anything to the dispatcher because I was in a hurry to beat the rain that was coming in. I have had this problem with other U-Hauls I have rented elsewhere.

Although the location was not the original one we were suppose to leave the truck at the gentleman was helpful and said we could leave it there as we did not know the area very well. However we were charged an additional charge. I had called earlier in the day the original place we were suppose to drop the truck off and they told me that as long as I had the truck there by 5pm there would not be an additional charge.. The man at the place that we left the truck took all my paperwork and I do not have a copy of any of it.. we were overcharged for mileage and an extra day.

The problem I had with uhaul wasnt at the pick up location but with the company itself. I was charged DOUBLE once I got to the store (and was even given half off there) over what I was quoted when I made my reservation with the call center. I called TWICE to confirm the amount and both times was assured the amount was correct, only to be charged a ton more money once I picked up my truck. I called the district manager and was told he would look into it and never returned my call. This is not how business is done. If I treated my customers like this, I would loose customers. Uhaul has lost my business and the business of my friends and family( Im sure they dont care).

Seems like they were not equipped with the trucks that were reserved online. If I had been 15 minutes later, I would not have received my vehicle (walk-in would have). Website let me reserve a truck that they did not have, and was not transferred to them.
