The staff seemed bothered that I had arrived to return my rental. Although the trailer was due at 5:45 p.m. and I returned it at 5:43 p.m., they did not check it in until approximately 9:00 p.m. This delay incorrectly triggered an additional day’s rental charge. I had to contact U-Haul Customer Care again to dispute the charge. Fortunately, I had taken time-stamped photos showing that the trailer was returned on time. Without that proof, I likely would have been charged for an extra day, per customer service representative. This experience was far from the hassle-free and convenient service U-Haul promotes. Instead, I felt like I had to stay on guard and document everything just to avoid being overcharged.

Alejandro MI was charged an after hour fee which is incorrect. The equipment was returned before 5 the same day I rented the two wheel dolly. The receipt that I received today via email states that I returned the equipment at 9:45 pm. I am disputing the $20 after hour fee.
