The environment was poor. I walked in to an extremely smoked filled office. (Ihave chronic migraines & it's a top trigger) The personal didn't even take time to explain the truck features & where features were located on the dashboard. (how to open & lock the truck) They didn't go over markings on the truck to be sure I didn't cause any of them. I accidentally rented the truck a day earlier, I asked to bring the truck back & just be charged for the 2 hrs I had it. Nope. They were not even renting that truck that day. There was no reason they couldn't have allowed me to bring the truck back. No where did it say once you get the truck your charge for full day. When I was on websites it gave me the choice to rent it by the hour. Upon returning the truck, for being 40 mins. late they were going to charge me an entire 24hr rental fee/ plus rent it to another client. I had to threaten to call my lawyer & it was an awful stressful situation. They said I will now be red lined & no longer able to use Uhal in the future. I am a newly disabled individual & had just suffered a horrible injury the night before. Moving to a new place is stressful enough, very costly & you have a company trying to take advantage of disabled individual. I'm still debating on wether to file a complaint that my rights have been violated. Never would I recommend this place!Tricia K.

This location was like a visit to the Cars movie Radiator Springs. We scheduled pick up for 9 am. At 9:37, U-haul attendant still wasn't there. We were told she was dropping a kid off at camp and that no one present could help us. Finally arrived just before 10. The wiring harness on the trailer was not compatible with our truck and they had no converters available for rent or purchase. We had to make another 1hr round trip to another store to get the converter. U-haul website offered to let us purchase additional magnetized lights to attach to the back of our towed vehicle. I clicked the link to purchase them when I made my online reservation. These were not available either when we arrived at the site. U-haul employee blamed U-haul for all of these problems, as if she was not a representative of the company. I also requested the 52nd and Wads location in Arvada for drop-off. This location was reported in the reservation summary I received. However, paperwork given to us at pick-up had the drop off location changed to 44th Ave in Wheat Ridge. According to U-haul employees in Colorado, this change was made by the representative at the pickup location. This was done without our knowledge or consent and caused additional hassle when returning the trailer after a very long cross-country overnight haul.Laura S.

Uhaul sent a link to approve of any damage to the truck. Except the link expired before we got a chance to look at the truck. We found the reverse light had no cover on the passenger side. But I didn't get to mark this. So now I'm guessing I'll get an outrageous bill from uhaul for damage we didn't do. Plus the girl checking us out was more interested in her phone than usDawn H.

Location has very bad signal preventing the online check in process from being completed timely. Took about an hr just to get through all the steps through the app and online.Kerstin L.
It wasn't the locations fault however I thought since uhaul asked for the make and model that I would get a car dolly that actually fit the car instead I found out 3 hours before I got on the road the car didn't fit and that now I would have to make arrangements to have the car driven down to my locationKyle K.
Make the online checkout and buying more clear. Charges are daily but also explain that if the drop off location is closed when dropping off you will be charged for an extra day or two. Also please include the items I requested in the truck of I pay for them.Jonathan S.

The lady came over to my car even tho I was checking in online. She asked if I needed help, I said no and that I was picking up a uhaul. She asked if I was getting a van. I said no, a box truck. She says â€œOk, well I have to get the keys because I had to move them.â€ So I finish checking in and it says the keys are in box 3. I walk over and she's out in a van doing stuff. I wait for her to give me the keys assuming she has them since she said she had to move them and was going to get them. Finally she looks at me and I say â€œso, do I get the keys from the box orâ€¦â€ and she says (rudely) â€œYeah! It will tell you which box!â€ So I just said â€œOk well you said you moved them soâ€¦â€ I will not use this location again.Hilario D.

Polly at JR Auto Repair and Towing got us set up, in and out quickly and then when we got back checked us in just as quickly. I was so glad that they had the trucks we needed. As a non profit UHaul is a good value to us. If we need trucks again we will be sure to check their stock.Fran G.
You guys are straight assholes! I was supposed to pic the uhaul up at 8 am and spent so much time dicming around with checking in ans on and off the phone with you guys that I wasn't able to officially leave the place of pick up with the uhaul till 10am just absolutely ridiculousCassie C.

The UHaul needed an alignment very badly and the seats had worn in spots and I was NOT happy that I was charged per mile to bring the uhaul to where I needed it or that I had to return it there when its almost 25 mins away and I had to drive my own vehicle to pick it up 25 mins from me when I wanted to pick it up only 10 mins away but couldn't. So uhaul charged me per mile to bring it to where I needed and for the return trip to Ottawa. Which if I had been able to pick it up locally the per mile charge would have been around $40 less. Plus they put a smart move charge on there that i did not ask for.Jennifer Z.

Not open on Sunday. We were lucky the towing truck came when we got there because the online app was not working. He was able to go get his wife who was able to help us get the key.... It was very hard to get a one way U-Haul. It wasn't this locations fault that we had problems. The person we talked to on the U-Haul phone line was not helpful. She was rude. we had initially been told he would have a truck block away from our daughter's apartment but we got a call the day before and was told there was no truck and we had to pick one up on our way to move her which was a lot of extra time and not as convenient. We will find a different way next time we move....not use U-Haul.richard B.

This was an older trailer with lots of damage to both the exterior and the interior. The inside tie down locations were found to be difficult to use and some of the side rails were loose because the glue attaching them had failed. There were limited floor tie down locations (6) that also were well worn / bent.TIMOTHY V.
