I highly recommend checking in online. It makes the process so much easier for everybody. It took longer to hookup the trailer than it did to do the paperwork. JT's will be my go to U-haul dealer for any of my future rental needs.JOHN B.

My experience was horrible and attempts to call customer service were unsuccessful due to long waits up to 90 minutes. I requested a call back and was called back but hung up on. My equipment wasn't working correctly and it required a call to roadside assistance. Overall my experience with renting a trailer was negative from beginning to end.DESTINNE P.

I was charged $40 for an extra day. I did NOT request an extra day & dropped off the truck the next day, per contract. When I initially rented the 1-way rental, U-Haul changed the original pick-up location & I was told that I had 15 additional miles & another day to drop off the truck. I used neither. Please send me a refund or adjust the charge(s) to my credit card, as I've already paid the bill before seeing the receipt. Thank you.FRANCIS K.

I am not sure if JT's had any control over this situation or not- the office staff was everything we could have asked for. However, we requested a 10' truck for the last leg of our move and were provided a 15' truck. While in some ways the additional space was helpful, we were unable to turn down and park on the street we lived on (a narrow, residential, Philadelphia street that we parked a 10' truck on the day before) and ended up having to carry our haul half a block to load it onto the truck, which slowed down the move significantly. Being charged for an additional day after having the move take longer because of something we did not request only added to the frustration.Isaac W.

after my previous experience, this was like a different company. The truck was there, clean, and ready to go. The keys were in the lock box. Everything went smoothly except, once again, the app, my pickup failed at the last step, fortunately the folks at TJs were happy, and able, to get me on my way.William T.

My location was changed 3 times from my original booking and this resulted in confusion between sites and extra time, miles and phone calls. I was supposed to get 200 free miles and this did not seem to occur on my billing statement when I was charged. Also it was very difficult to get someone at the customer service number.Joel A.

This is the second time that we rented a UHaul at one location, received a reservation # and arrive to find no truck available. In this instance we were sent to another location not far away but the first time we were left high and dry. Your booking system is grossly flawed and leaves a customer in the lurch without a care. Having nothing to do with the kind people at this location, we will NEVER be renting from UHaul again.Rocco B.

I was a little frustrated with the drop off site being changed on me. The Uhaul representative that was helping me out initially provided a drop off very close by, but this was eventually moved to the Pottstown location which is less convenient. The remote dropoff was helpful.Beat J.
The drop off process was very inconvenient. We were not informed that we would have to take pictures of the inside of the truck before completing the return process. We had already dropped the keys in the return slot before we finished filling out the return survey, so there was no way for us to take pictures of the inside of the truck. The location that I rented from was great. Now onto the negative part: WHY WOULD YOU SEND A EMAIL STATING "NOT RETURNED UHAUL EQUIPMENT" THE NEXT DAY TO THE CUSTOMER BEFORE YOU CONTACTED THE RENTAL LOCATION? You place un-needed worry and stress on the customer by having them wonder what happened to the equipment that they returned. This seems like a very very poor business model. Also I won't even get into how rude the customer service person was when I called to inquire about that email.DALE G.
My original reservation was changed by you, to pick up at this location. This delayed our move by 2.5 hours, and added 3 hours to our already long day. I was not at all satisfied with this change, especially since I made my reservation a month in advance. The truck was extremely dirty inside and out. It smelled horrible and had gnats in it. The windows and windshield were filthy. There was several spots in the back that had some sort of dried liquid stuck to the mat. I told the gentleman at the location all of these things. I'm not sure if the guy that help us knew the van was dirty. My husband drove the van to our house and once I got home he said the van small terrible. The van smelled AWFUL. I used clorox wipes to wipe it down, swept out the back of the van and had to spray lysol to try and cut the smell. We should have check it before we left the location. (our mistake)Michael M.
