This truck had 115,000 miles on it. It needed a new ball joint and front end alignment. It had a patch on the side of the cargo box (it was raining) which leaked and damaged mattresses.John Y.

I live in suburban Philadelphia with a very large population, yet the closest uhaul location thst has a 5x8 trailer was at least 30 minutes away from my house. made a reservation at one location (in Collegeville, PA) and up to the second I picked up the vehicle, my uhaul account said that location. However, the day before the pickup time, someone from a completely different place (about 15 minutes further) called me and said I was to pick up there. I didn't know if it was some type of scam, but the guy said â€œyeah maybe they didn't have your trailer at the other location.â€ So I went to the new location which had just one guy there, and, being part time and not there much, he seemed to be unaware of the reservation. He looked it up and even though the reservation was prepaid, the location didn't have the dolly id asked for. The man was very nice and ultimately got my trailer up and running.Eric E.

I know it's policy to not send out a trailer with lights not working and I was able to at least limp over to an auto parts store to verify that my 7-4pin adapter was not the issue. Having the tester that was used at the second location to find the blown fuse at the first location would have saved me some time, but I was picking up the trailer a day early so ultimately no time wasted,Jonathan M.

The local spot was great. Corporate uhaul - Your app could suck less. Getting Verified took multiple shots for every picture. Phone verification took 15 minutes. The process sucked.Elias S.

I scheduled this pick up a month in advance and yet still had a change in location AND time to this location which was farther away and the opposite direction to where I was moving. This caused back and forth phone calls with Uhaul and the local site locations, causing much increase in stress not needed on a moving day. Will NOT be using Uhaul in the future and will be providing negative reviews, as this is NOT good customer service and use of a service.Donald V.

Justin and his staff have always provided excellent U-HAUL EQUIPMENT RENTAL SUPPORT OVER THE YEARS WE HAVE RENTED THERE. If they did not have the proper U-HAUL equipment they found where we could get it locally . This last rental had to be revised 2x as the Motorcycle repairs were not completed on time. Justin at J.T. Wheels was very accommodating and extremely supportive! Our U-HAUL RENTAL WAS A VERY PLEASANT EXPERIENCE!! We are a long term U-HAUL CUSTOMER!WILLIAM K.

I called 4 times and no answer back! I had to drop off and take pictures. Then this place charged me $30.24 for returning late! I called him Monday and he said to go through uhaul which I did and cinnaminson nj location (Priscilla) gave me a refund she was awesome! I would not recommend returning to Pottstown location! Very frustrating and I'm hoping it doesn't happen again next week when I rent again. Im nervous!Dawn H.

The entire process is so slow and overly rigorous. The site doesn't work for safari either. The extra â€œapplication verificationâ€ is RIDICULOUS. It had us standing in the rain! Not to mention those fun hidden fees. No, I will be advising people AGAINST using uhaul.Maria C.

People were friendly when picking up and dropping off. When I got in, I found that the tank was empty and that was the first thing we needed to do. There is a $48 credit towards gas but it costed $60 just to get it to a half tank and I was driving to New Jersey; so of course I had to fill it again. It says there is an automatic charge if you give it back under around 1/4 of a tank. Would have been nice if we could have at least started with that.RANDI D.

THE FACT THAT YOU MOVED MY PICK UP POINT SO FAR AWAY IT COST ME MORE FOR MILAGE THAN THE RENTAL. i WOULD OF HAD A TOTAL OF 12 MILES INSTEAD OF 33 MILES. THAT MAKES ME VERY DIS- SATISFIED AS A CUSTOMER!!!!!JAMES C.
When I got the uhaul it was disgusting. Then when I returned it, they charged me for a cleaning fee and gas's fee and gas. Over $100 more than the actual rental itself. I will never rent from there again!Stacy M.

It may not be the locations fault but this was the worst experience we ever had with uhaul! We will probably try another company next time! I did a reservation online for a location 3 blocks from my house where we always rent from! Went to pick up and my reservation was moved 15 min away without telling me! We got there and couldn't access the truck and was online /phone trying to get help for 30 minutes and then finally got access to the truck! Our price was much higher then the last times we used rentals! We were extremely disappointed with the customer service as it shouldn't take 30 min for a 2 min help! We paid $85 for 1.5hrs and I never paid that much before and last time we used for longer and further. Will try elsewhereQuentin S.

There was excrement (I hope from a dog...) in the back of the truck. I stepped in it while loading a matress and had to unload what I already loaded and I had to scrub it off of the truck bed floor with bleach spray and paper towels before I could load anything backup.TROY J.
