Trailer lights didn't work at the end of the trip, but I'm unsure if they worked when leaving the lot. Checking lights was not on the pickup inspection.
Bobby HGive Lilly a raise, she is such a wonderful employee and I plan to come to this location for all of my rental needs based on the wonderful customer service. Steve is great and does an excellent job maintaining the facilities.

Checking it back in was another story, the man we checked it back in with kinda sucked ngl also charged us for a full nother day even though we turned it in on time.

Brian PFirst, my reservation switched to this location without my permission and in the opposite way I was going. Service was apparently bad there so using the app took forever. The man that helped me didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. He was very short with me and seemed upset with me taking so long going through the app at the beginning and end. He even said angrily at the end “can you just give me the key so I can leave already”
Joshua CThe trailer brake lights and turn signals worked (we checked them), but the tail lights didn't work (it was daylight when I picked up the trailer). I almost got a ticket. . . Also, the trailer didn't have a trailer jack so it was VERY difficult to unhook the trailer when it was fully loaded!!!

David Gembarrassed that i already forget their names, but the gal who checked me in was helpful and delightful. and the gent who brought out the truck and trailer was really great, everytyhing was all set up and he was right there when i returned with the trailer (and couldn't back it up - cuz that is hard to do !) great people !
Frank MThe elderly couple that runs the place seems nice, however the entire experience felt like a giant bait and switch. We originally reserved a truck from a U-Haul location 2 miles from our home, but the next morning the reservation was changed to pick-up at a location 7 miles from our home. When we arrived at the new pick-up location the office was poorly lit and extremely dated. The woman at the desk seemed confused and flustered by her computer. When she finished the paperwork she told us several times that there was a dropbox outside in case they were not there which I took to mean they definitely would not be there. We had some things come up but still got the truck back by 1:10. I received 4 transaction receipt emails from U-Haul. Then on Saturday morning I received yet another stating the vehicle was dropped off at 8:50 that morning. Based on the initial reservation I expected the total to come to about $40 0r $50, but the total was twice that. Overall it was not a great experience and one I will not repeat with your company.

TERRYL AThey gave my truck I was assigned online to someone else, the rep asked me my name like 15 times and took 45 minutes to even get to talk to me, I think she barely knew what day it was let alone what truck she was assigning to whom.

John BThe system was down at the location when I went to pick up the trailer so the transaction had to be completed by phone with the area manager. Other than that it went smoothly.
Pertti LThe employees were very friendly and professional. The only negative part of the experience was that she had the TV news on the television set playing very loudly. I didn’t want to hear the news, especially with such loud volume. I would advise that they should have the TV turned off when customers are in the office. Or play a non-offensive program, as news is very upsetting these days. For that reason I would not go back to this U-Haul if that television set was still playing the news especially at such a loud volume. I could not recommend this U-Haul also to my friends, because I know they also would be offended at the loud television set broadcasting news. Everything else about the experience was good though. I hope that they will read the suggestion and make this change to turn off the TV set.

Isabella DIt was under my impression that if I filled the tank back up I would not get charged for the mileage. At least that's how it has been in the past when I have rented at other locations.
Ryan MIt was closed at 3 pm on Sunday, which I wasn't expecting. I was told by Shoreline office to call them, which I did, but no reply. So probably just to make sure other locations know when a location will be closed. There was a mixup about billing, but I was refunded the mistake, which I greatly appreciate.

Steven SI was very nervous about my pick-up day and location that was assigned to me, because I had stopped by at 1:30 the two days prior, and no one was around. Thankfully, they were staffed and ready to help on my day. They did not have a hitch ball for me to buy, but graciously allowed me to use their extra used one. While I was finishing up the paperwork, he already had the hitch on and trailer attached! Things went off smoothly for us, and would use them again.
Evan VThe 10' Truck was not large enough to fit a king size bed effectively despite your website indicating it would be (https://www.uhaul.com/Blog/2014/09/22/moving-a-mattress-infographic/) we were eventually able to fit it by laying it down but because of the wheel wells it wouldn't lay flat and we ended up having to make an additional trip to move everything we needed. I'm also concerned that the odd position of the mattress will result in damage overtime as it was not able to lay flat. You website is incorrect and the 10' truck was not an appropriate size for a king mattress.
sarah gI signed up online and declined the optional $15 insurance . When I was emailed my bill (what was charged to my credit card), the $15 fee for insurance was included. If I declined an option, I should not be charged.
Jeffrey KWe did not do a walk around and I was suprised to see that the truck was near empty. It would be much easier AND MORE ACCURATE if the vehicle were full and I were to refill it to full.

TERRYL AThe battery on my truck was dead, but the guy was really nice and charged it for me and I didn't have any other problems with it. The truck was clean. This was not my original pick-up location. UHaul changed it. So I had to spend $43 on an Uber. Then they changed my drop off location too. This is not a reflection on Kairos Project, it more has to do with overall UHaul management.
