After hours, returning the rental was confusing. There is no drop box. I guess the keys are to be dropped through the mail slot at the Keg n Bottle, but there is nothing indicating to do so. A sign or a message about that would be helpful!Debra S.
Pickup location was not safe and in an area without cell phone service which is required to use for contactless pickup. It took 45 minutes to upload the required photos. There was no clear place to pickup the keys. Uhaul was dirty and full of Cheetos, it was dirty and not swept out.Joseph K.
1st off the person at the counter could not find my reservation gave me attitude to rent a truck Then I showed him my reservation from my phone he said he could not find it I asked him if I could rent a truck please to tow a worktrailer I do this all the time he said no trailer hitch I must buy one I've never had to buy a trailer hitch they've always been given when I opened up the door there was a 1/2 inch of mud and dirt all on the floor the whole vehicle was dirty Inside and outside of the truck and many dents and the truck did not handle well because of the leak in the tireCRAIG P.

The location was great, the rental process was horrible. The on-line registration is not user friendly. It took over 45 minutes to finish the registration and leave with the truck. This is completely ridiculous and time consuming.George F.

Reserved a truck and location didn't have the truck I reserved and ended up paying for a bigger one. Customer service amazing and I am going to get my refund, but this was super inconvenientAnde P.
Great guys at this location but I reeserved at another location and was told by the first reservation agent that called me to confirm that they didn't have a truck for me there and that I'd be given miles credit for driving the truck further than I would have. At the end, she hadn't actually left a note of any kind and the guy I finally got in customer service (after THREE rounds and 3 hours of calling/getting a roto-dial call back then being rerouted to other departments....) was super passive-agressive-fake-nice...he kept putting me on hold as if he was trying to find out what to do from someone ELSE...and finally offered me a "VIP" $10 CREDIT ON MY NEXT RENTAL!!!!!!!! yeah. no thanks, U-haul. This comment is only regarding the 15 foot truck that I rented. The mirrors are dangerous. They are meant for a taller person. The only mirrors I could use were the bottom ones on each side do not allow me to know how close the car in either lane is to me. It was very disconcerting and dangerous.LYNN S.

Person who checked me in was not helpful, proactive, or quick to assist. He told me the truck I reserved wasn't returned and he didn't have any trucks for me. I then pointed to a truck sitting in the parking lot, unused. He agreed to let me use the unused truck, then took atleast 25 minutes to check me out. He was incredibly rude & made this a terrible experience.Michelle G.

This Keg N Bottle is not a good partner. The staff is incompetent. Guy with the red beard behind the counter is constantly stoned out of his mind (I frequent this store as I live in the area), and he was in charge of giving me the U-Haul keys. The next day I went back before the store opened to return truck and keys - the box was not outside and I had to return after work just to drop the keys off after I had already checked the truck in.BERNARDO J.

The contracts as it pertains to the gas are not accurate! When its convenient for UHaul the gas shows more than it had when I picked it up! I was offered a gas credit if I filled the truck to 1/4 tank. I filled it an they said I only filled it to 1/8 so I didn't get my full credit! Don't bother filling the truck when they promise a credit! I have emailed 2 times and have yet to get a call back! Frustrated!Steven M.

The location was not where I was told it would be. Had to drive 1/2 hour away to drop off trailer in a terribly inconvenient area. Wasted 1 /12 hours of time getting rid of the trailer.Gregory K.
There were issues from the start then called your support center and things got worse. We reserved a truck and one dozen blankets. When we got there, the response was â€œthere are no blankets, but here, still rent the truckâ€. I thought well how can I get blankets and it's 1130, why wasnt I notified this morning?????? I had to step away and call another location to see if they had blankets and they said I could not get the blankets w/o a truck rental WTF. So now I was calling for a truck and blankets. I call another location and it sent me to the u-haul support center. They informed me that I could get only the blankets at Coppley hub. Ok, so I take the truck and drive to Coppley. I get to Coppley stand in line forever, even though My movers are now at my house and it's 12pm. Coppley rep notifies me that they do not have any blankets and never tried to help me find more locations with blankets. Then I'm in the truck pulled over on the phone with support center again, left on hold for 15 minutes only for a different person to pickup the phone but I'm now 45 minutes behind, 38 weeks pregnant, stressed and sweating. When I got home, I got a call that I can go to National City to get blankets (yeah right, just like Coppley) but that's another hour drive, there and back, not gonna happen. I asked for a full refund of the entire truck rental since we had to pay an extra $100 for the movers for an extra hour. Not only that but we lost our movers at the end location due to the time extension here so my fiancÃ© had to pay more money to new guys and lost our deposit with the original movers. signage to locate the actual shop is bad. The attitude from the associates handling the contract and check was just as bad. The service upon returning the vehicle was even worse. I don't think a keg shop and Uhaul center work well together.OSVALDO R.
Let me drop off at the closest and most convenient location for me. Don't call me and divert me elsewhere. And then when I arrive, they claimed to already be full. Very unprofessional at the corporate level. The Keg N Bottle was great and took the truck anyway. UHaul needs to step up their game and take responsibility for moving trucks around as needed, not just hope for the best and rely on the customer to distribute the trucks. If it's a popular drop-off spot, then advertise low rates to leave from that spot. Or pay someone to move the trucks to other locations. Don't make it my problem.Walter P.

The gas tank was only a 1/4 full, the alignment was off and steering wheel was not lined up properly which made it difficult to steer without swerving. Then when I refilled the tank to try and get it back to 1/4 full before turning it in, I got it to almost 1/4 tank at $20, and then I kept pumping and the fuel gauge stopped going up. I ended up putting $40 in the tank and it showed LESS than 1/4 full. I got screwed and something was wrong and broken with the fuel gauge, my brother in law and I were stunned as we watched the fuel gauge needle stop moving.Mitchell C.

Pretty run down area. Drop off place is a liquor store ant the two workers did not know what was going on. Very disorganized. I did return the truck one day early and this thoroughly confused one worker to the point where he literally walked away and the other worker had to finish everything.Terry J.

I had booked a uhual through a different closet location, was never notified it had moved to the keg and barrel. Because we didn't know, I sat on hold with uhual for 30minutes before they informed me the location was different. I should not have been able to reserve a truck at a location after hours if it was not possible to use the truck share 24/7 optionTAYLER F.

I reserved online for the 24/7 pickup to have my truck ready by 8am. I arrived at 730 am only to discover that they did not prepare a truck for me. I had to wait until 9am when they opened to get my rental. The guy blamed the last customer on not having the truck ready. Truck was fine and drop off was easy.JERRY W.

Staff it properly. We turned in our key when there were not many customers in the store, but the staff were already assigned other duties such that they could not check in my vehicle with me, but after I left. This has resulted in an undue gas charge - I left the vehicle with more fuel than it had when I left, but have a refueling charge listed on my invoice. I can only imagine that the guy checking it in didn't wait for the fuel gauge to fully register when he took a reading (it took about 5-10 seconds for the needle to accurately reflect the level). Oh, and I had to hand in the key because the app wasn't accepting any of the pictures I was submitting of the odometer, and the padlock for the rear gate wouldn't fit through the handle to lock it closed. Overall, a fairly poor experience all around when returning the vehicle.Reno B.
