Drop off location was changed on me last minute. No big deal but what’s the point of choosing a pick up or drop off location if you guys are going to do whatever you want in the end.

Support called me to help find a drop off location and added an extra day to my rental for an overnight dropoff. Location said that uHaul often does this to its customers especially at this location. There was no "red dropbox" for keys at this location as described by your associate. I would like a refund for the extra day added.

Did not even receive a dolly I paid for, linen, or the other tools I had purchased to use for the day. Was overcharged for no reason. If we didn't use the equipment I feel as if I should get reimbursed for the money.

I was overcharged $110 for the mileage. I only went to a couple places & they said I drove over 70miles. When I picked up the truck it was a 1/4 of a tank lower on gas. So, obviously someone had been driving the truck & they didn’t log it. I got burned by that& they wouldn’t fix it. Other than that it was cool. Sad to see no one believes anyone anymore.

The guy renting out the truck was a kind of a jerk when I dropped off the truck. I returned the truck at 2:00pm -1 hour after it was due- on my receipt he put that I returned the truck at 7:00 pm! WTF!!! Also, very difficult to get in and out of the rental location.

The utility dolly and furniture dolly were not in the truck which I indicated upon check-in and I was still charged.

Only a 1/4 tank of gas was in the truck, actually it was less. returned it w 3/8ths of a tank...4 gallons more than when I picked it up. Cab smelled like a smoker had used it, it had been cleaned but the odor lingered. BRAKES!!!! Vibration whenever they are applied at slow and highway speeds, feels like a rotor is warped. Reserved a furniture dolly online, when I arrived to pick up my rental, staff discovered that they were out of them. Offered a refridgerator handtruck as compenstion...what I needed was the dolly.

Last night was a lot of fog so the truck got a little dirty in the outside, other than that customer service was top notch. Thank you.

The original pickup location given was different. When I got there I found out that the truck was in a different location, so I was forced to make a 2nd Uber ride. That added an additional $30+ to my expenses.

Stop using the word "family". Not everyone that uses uhaul services has a "family". Stop sending prompts for renting accessories without knowing if the store has them or not and adding them to people's online shoppimg carts by default to make a few extra bucks. I have asked for dollies or carts before just to find out there is none at the store to use.

I ordered a TV shipping box which did not show up. No one told me, which complicated my move. If something isn't available take 20 seconds to call or text the customer as soon as possible.

For starters, the back of the uhaul had a bunch of weed (small buds everywhere). It smelled of weed & rat/mice piss! I had to blow out the vermin shit out of the back with blower! The cab also smelled like shit! I also had to blow it out before I used it. In the cab, driver’s side, there was left over half eaten chocolate candy (looked like rats nibbled on it). The plate on uhaul was from Arizona…if I contract Hantavirus, I will be contacting my attorney! My house-hold goods I transported in uhaul are now contaminated! I will never, ever rent uhaul again! I even incurred an additional $35 charge?? First and last I will frequent Keg and Bottle location in Clairemont! Homeless dude crashed out on bench prior to opening liquor store on day of pickup….crazy homeless looking gal in front of store with 2 kids and dog raising hell at drop off…

I bought two dozen furniture moving pads for my move. I was assured two days before that the truck would have furniture pads. The day of the rental, I was informed that they did not have furniture pads, leaving me high and dry.

KegNbottle location was good. The owner was a great guy. Everything was ready for pick up, but the truck was dirty in the front. Either way the truck and equipment did it’s job. Overall great experience

Had to file a dispute. Person that provided contract initially provided the wrong truck, didn’t redo the contract and as a result I needed to file a complaint with uhaul due to improper mileage charge. I will likely never use uhaul again in the future. I will also be opening a dispute with my credit card provider.

The Guy who checked me out at this location was very nice. The problem, however, was that the folks at my original location (near my house) failed to stage the keys and this prompted a call from customer service pointing me to the point Loma location. While making my way to Point Loma, I received another call saying that location does not have the van that I requested and that I must go to Claremont. This is the second time that the grand Avenue location has failed to stage keys for me, causing me to drive all around San Diego to get a van

Make sure my reservation is confirmed at the store. They did not have my reservation which was made in advance. Not their fault… The employees were very nice. U-Haul messed up on their end.Also, I refilled with too much gas. How do I ask for a refund?

The dash indicated the pickup truck was overdue for an oil change and the key fob battery was weak and needing a replacement. Furthermore, the windshield, side and rear glass were dirty. The dirty windshield was a significant vision impairment especially at sundown when driving west. That said, this is an excellent and convenient location with excellent staff who are timely, knowledgeable and courteous. The parking lot is big, the Uhaul’s are well placed and easy to find and drop off. I will definitely use this location again and would not hesitate to refer this UHaul to others. Thank You☺️

I somehow missed that I was going to need an extra set of references/ID for verification at pickup. It was the step where 2 of a set of things were required - verification from a friend, work verificaiton, passport, etc. I wasn't prepared for that, but fortunately my wife was along and could take the call. Seems it should be pointed out for the online rental. Otherwise, I really like the online pickup and dropoff.

After hours, returning the rental was confusing. There is no drop box. I guess the keys are to be dropped through the mail slot at the Keg n Bottle, but there is nothing indicating to do so. A sign or a message about that would be helpful!

Pickup location was not safe and in an area without cell phone service which is required to use for contactless pickup. It took 45 minutes to upload the required photos. There was no clear place to pickup the keys. Uhaul was dirty and full of Cheetos, it was dirty and not swept out.

1st off the person at the counter could not find my reservation gave me attitude to rent a truck Then I showed him my reservation from my phone he said he could not find it I asked him if I could rent a truck please to tow a worktrailer I do this all the time he said no trailer hitch I must buy one I've never had to buy a trailer hitch they've always been given when I opened up the door there was a 1/2 inch of mud and dirt all on the floor the whole vehicle was dirty Inside and outside of the truck and many dents and the truck did not handle well because of the leak in the tire

The location was great, the rental process was horrible. The on-line registration is not user friendly. It took over 45 minutes to finish the registration and leave with the truck. This is completely ridiculous and time consuming.

Reserved a truck and location didn’t have the truck I reserved and ended up paying for a bigger one. Customer service amazing and I am going to get my refund, but this was super inconvenient

Great guys at this location but I reeserved at another location and was told by the first reservation agent that called me to confirm that they didn't have a truck for me there and that I'd be given miles credit for driving the truck further than I would have. At the end, she hadn't actually left a note of any kind and the guy I finally got in customer service (after THREE rounds and 3 hours of calling/getting a roto-dial call back then being rerouted to other departments....) was super passive-agressive-fake-nice...he kept putting me on hold as if he was trying to find out what to do from someone ELSE...and finally offered me a "VIP" $10 CREDIT ON MY NEXT RENTAL!!!!!!!! yeah. no thanks, U-haul. Awful.
