Although location is better than average as far as facilities go, they did not have my truck ready at 7pm for after hours mobile pick-up. After noticing an employee still inside the closed store I insistently knocked on the window until person was willing to come open the door. They were completely unaware of my reservation being for that evening even though person and I saw on their system. No apologies, just a â€œwell, we got your truck ready nowâ€. Yes, after I knocked on the window for long enough that they realized I wasn't going away and decided to help me. I had movers scheduled to load the truck first thing next morning and truck not being ready for after hours would have completely spoiled my plans should these employee not still had been in the store after hours. Very upsetting. I contacted UHaul as soon as I left the store and let them know of the situation for my truck ready assurance payment.patricia J.

I opted for checking in online so the keys should have been in the vehicleâ€¦..NO NOT THE CASE AT ALLâ€¦ they had the keys inside of the establishment, only due to the couple working did I get the key 2.5 hours after I was to pick the up I actually had to knock on the window for the to help after sitting in their parking over 2,5 hours and having to call U-HAUL TO GET ASSISTANCEâ€¦ Once getting the truck, I noticed the info had changed from dropping off in Alabama to dropping off back in SC ONCE AGAIN I CALL U-HAUL 🤬the young lady answered the phone in the mist of here family dinner all I hear are kids and cartoons, unprofessional, she corrects she tells me to get a pin to write all of this information downâ€¦. That's a no for me, I request that she email me she told me she couldn'tâ€¦.. well I was driving so I could only accept an emailâ€¦.Sharon J.

The fuel level was marked at 3/4 when I picked up. The needle was clearly under the the large white 3/4 mark. Tank was much closer to 5/8 than it was 3/4. Normally I would not say much about this, but gas is now $4.20 a gallon and that little error is a bit expensive. I returned the truck with 3/.4 tank of fuel so that I would not be charged for fuel. However that mistake by U-haul probably cost me about $10.George P.

Did not have furniture pads that I had rented online. I was sent to a second location which did not have them either. Did not get furniture pads. Spoke with a representative at uhaul who told me to contest the bill when I returned the trailer which I did and yet was charged for them,Samuel G.

Cab and cargo area was very dirty and they didn't bother to clean before renting and had to put air in one of the rear tires of the trailer, as it was under 10 lb. Young lady at counter got confused checking me in and was not wearing a mask!Edson M.

When I rented the truck everything went very smooth, went home and packed up the truck, and finished BUT I called uhaul road side assistants to help bc the white latch got stuck in the roof, and waited an hour for them to come, the guy from road side called the operator sent him to an entire different state of which I wasn't even in. Canceled him and called back to get another road side guy and was NEVER sent any help. Finally had to flag down a kind and willing cop who the fixed my truck problem. Very upset with uhaul road side assistances, they were of NO help to me at all, even when I explained my situation that I needed to leave in a hurry bc my ex husband is a very violent man!!!Diane B.

I chose this location because it is a well known, almost nostalgic business in the area since 1946. The very unfriendly man behind the counter unable to conduct U-Haul business. Only one staff member is able to operate the system, she isn't there when they open. Should have been a red flag when I got a txt message saying I needed to pick it up two hours early bc no one would be there to assist me at 12 noon. When I returned the unit, the same uninterested and incapable man was there, was told to just leave unit in parking lot and someone would email me, still no confirmation from point of rental. There are a lot of U-Haul rental location in our area we will certainly choose any other than Kenny's next time.RYAN W.

I rented a 6x12 trailer. There was no one there to assist me getting it off of my hitch and it was too heavy for one person. Would be nice to have a better system on the heavier trailers to allow a single person to put it on/off.David A.

The starboard side tire strap was broken and tied in a knot around the inboard d-ring. Which made it shorter on that side, creating a dangerously unstable vehicle securing situation.JONATHAN W.
