My rental was to be picked up at 8 AM. The owners did not get there until 9:30. They gave me a utility dolly when I asked for an appliance dolly and did not give me the furniture pads I rented. However, I realized this once I got home and when I called they stated that they do not give out supplies at their store (my question is why is it even offered then?) and that they would call U-Haul and have this removed from my file. I called U-Haul the next day and they had not called and there were no notations on my account. U-Haul assisted me in getting my complaint to management but the whole experience of picking it up was far less than superb.Elizabeth L.
I booked a van at a location near the store where we purchased our furniture. Uhaul changed the Uhaul pickup location twice â€” much further from both the store and our home. What should have been a two or three hour process was over 5 due to the extra travel time. Very very disappointing. We loved the people at the location (Kings and Queens) we were sent to but it was so very far out of the way from Beaufort and Bluffton that it took so much of the time we simply don't have to spare when moving! Likely wouldn't use Uhaul again because of this additional expense via miles and waste of my time. :(John W.

Uhaul called us right before we picked up the truck to say that our original location did not have our truck. They directed us to this location. It did not have the right size truck either. They were great, but we did not get the equipment that we wanted. Frustrating.Elizabeth B.
U-haul charged me for two days because the location on my phone wasn't recognized. I couldn't get anyone on the phone after several attempts. I called the emergency number and I also texted that number for help on the window. I have used u-haul several times and so has my family. I I am so displeased with my experience in the extra charge for a day with something that was beyond my control when I only have this van for one day .I don't think I will use U-Haul I recommend it to anyone else.Shemika S.

Was incorrectly charged for an extra day and fuel. Picked up with an 1/8 of a tank and returned it with exactly that amount. I was charged an extra $17. Returned it at 6:30 pm on 7/12 and was charged an extra $40 for 7/13. I called and was told those fees would be reversed and that has not happened as of yet. The day before picking up the rental, I was told by an associate that the pickup would be an after-hours pickup. That I would just need my mobile app to pick up, and that was not true. I caught an Uber to the location only to have to stand outside and wait for the place to open, being delayed. The rental was one-way. The associate who was checking me out was very rude and the numbers on the keychain were blurred, so I couldn't see the numbers. The passenger area was not completely vacuumed and had paper in the drink holder.Etoyia A.

I was charged for insurance, that I couldn't click off of on my phone, and for whatever reason, I was charged 7 dollars for gas. And I put gas in the vehicle before I dropped it off. After getting charged an extra 26/27 dollars that I shouldn't of been charged. I'll look for other rental alternatives in the future... I would definitely not recommend renting from uhaulBradley R.

I rented the truck last minute and my son ended up having to drive up from Florida to Georgia to pick up. They didn't provide a contract nor check the fuel. The gas tank was empty and he had to put $75 in gas immediately nit knowing that it should have been full. So we had to then return it with a full tank. Location not what I would expect from Uhsul which we have used MANY times. Very disappointedKaren H.

Helpful people there, but I was charged $28 for Safe Move. I did not ask for this and at at check-in I was not asked it I wanted it. I never pay for that since my own insurance covers damage. Please credit me $28. I had place an order through the U-Haul site but the local place cancelled it because I was late for pick up. They created a new order for me and added the Safe Move without asking.Andrew N.
