This is a grungy looking tire shop with barely enough parking lot for the Uhaul truck -only 1 truck could fit there- along with the other tire customer vehicles. It's also located in a sketchy part of town, I was worried about leaving my car there while I moved. Everything turned out OK, so perhaps I'm just being picky. But it's definitely not a 4 or 5 star location.BRUCE B.

I had an 8AM pickup and the agent was 15 minutes late in opening his store. Then he proceeded to shuffle keys and papers around for another 10 minutes before helping me. Then he said it would be another 10 minutes to "get the computer up". It was raining and I did a quick walk-around on the truck. As soon as I drove it off the lot, my friend told me one headlight was out. I told the agent but he refused to help and told me to call road service. What a poor poor poor employee. I reserved a 10 ft box truck for 10 am and the truck wasn't there. I was told to wait till the person using it got back. Waited till 10:30 and they sent me to Kings tires to get a $50 discount. I showed up, they knew nothing about it. Never got my discount and bad experience.Samuel F.

Very congested parking lot with the tire garage operation right on-site. Overall, however a good experience. I'd rent with U-Haul again and recommend to others.Mike V.
Give upfront and accurate estimates and charges. If you say ahead of time how many miles you will be driving, be upfront about the daily charge! One location charged me $99 a day, but I was charged $119 a day this time. U-Haul knows exactly what it is doing regarding keeping the customers uninformed before renting. I object to this. So why don't I check out another company next time? I think I will! Also, the first time I rented from U-Haul, I did not receive the proper checkin so it was claimed that I did not return the vehicle. I had to call five times before it was resolved. This time, there was a key drop-off box which we used. The next day I was called and said the vehicle had yet to be returned!! When I questioned that, I was put on hold and never returned to. Five minutes later after waiting, I called back and was told, "Oh yea, it's here." I give the U-Haul brand name a poor rating overall.Mary S.
The location was closed! We called the day before for check in with no answer. I looked online and it said they were closed for a few days, I called the normal number who said there was no problem and the uhaul would be there. It was there but no person was. We called the number on the door who said the uhaul there is only local and he was out. He called someone who told him to go get the uhaul and bring it to his location. He told us it'd be ready in 20 minutes. We arrived and he hadn't even left to go get it.Laurel G.

This was a terrible experience I was let down by uhaul at every turn. Then charged $100 more than agreed upon when returning the vehicle. I had to call the corporate office and tell and scream at people just to get the vehicle I was promised when it was promised! If there is anywhere else I can go for this type of service in the future I will choose them. What a hassle and a RIP off! Very displeased will not recommend!!!JENNIFER S.
Faster check out of vehicle. Even after completing the online pre-check in, still needed to provide driver's license, credit card, etc. Also it was very difficult to switch on the ignition. Either there is a "secret" way to get the key to turn and start the engine or this truck had an issue.Wayne V.
the rep was super helpful. I had issue creating an account when booking the reservation. The page would not take the password(s) I created and verified. Even after trying several different ones and carefully confirming, I couldn't get past that page so I couldn't complete a self-service pickup. So I called and asked the ph rep to change me order to pick up in store. When dropping off the truck I was going to have the same issue as when I booked it, because in order to do self-serve drop off the webpage was telling me I would have to create an account. And since that had been a frustrating sticking pt at booking, I asked the rep at the store if he would check me out, he was kind and took care of it.David L.

The van had not been washed. In fact it was so sorry that I could barely see out the windshield and I felt unsafe driving it so crazy had to pull over and clean it myself. I'm concerned that it had not been sanitized which during covid is more important than ever. We arrived on time for our appointment, and waited 25 minutes in 90 degree sun before the owner returned from running an errand, and was able to provide the contract, etc. Location is dirty, has bad access, and very little parking.SCOTT S.
It's too far for anyone I know to go and pick up a truck! We were forced to go here because of U-Haul schedule mess up and bad customer service. U-Haul scheduler changed my location last minute and messed up my whole day! I'm not a happy customer at this time and may never rent from you because of changing my location last minute so I had to drive for and hour to pick up a truck and when I called I received a horrible customer service! Your scheduler agents are rude and unprofessional specially Marrissa she was condescending and unprofessional just terrible! Never mentioned anything about Millage restriction and at the then I was charged for extra mileage when I had to drive from Sausalito to Santa Rosa and back each way 1 hour to pick up a truck! I'm so disappointed and don't think will ever rent from you guys! The location agent Hilario he was nice and did his best considering his computer problem! My issue is not with the location or Hillario. My issue is with the U-Haul company scheduler agents that messed up my whole reservation and had a massive rude attitude on the phone! Truck was in good shape mechanically and performed well. The rep at King's was very pleasant and helpful. However, the truck was dirty from the previous rental (dried mud and other similar debris on interior floor and glitter everywhere including the seats) which meant I had to clean it before use. The interior of the truck had obviously not been wiped clean in a long time. I wiped down all high touch surfaces which I had hoped UHaul would have done prior to rental. I even had to clean the windshield inside and out in order to get it clean enough to use. I would think that UHaul would have added improved cleaning and sanitizing procedures given the current situation. The UHaul app did not cooperate at all during the rental process causing a 30 minute delay in picking up the truck. I tried to document the condition of the interior of the truck but ti would not allow me to take a photo and continue. Additionally the app kept sending me around in circles to finalize the contract. Very frustrating and a complete waste of time for something that is supposed to speed up the process. This has also been my experience when using the Uhaul app in the past. Too clunky.Wayne V.
The only problem I had was checking in after hours. The website kept making me enter the mileage, fuel level and taking a picture of them. I did the entire process about 6-7 times and once got as far as entering pictures of the front interior and back cargo part of the van and then it crapped out, I would recommend to clients that their phones be fully charged and that they may end up using quite a bit of gas, just trying to complete the process.Susan H.

I have noticed 3 charges on my American express card that are pending. 2 charges for 2 different trailer rentals (i only rented 1) and a1 dollar charge at the time of my online registration. This is not acceptable. This is also not king tires fault. I spoke with 2 different Uhaul agents on the phone. Two agents- two reservations- two charges. What is the 1 dollar charge though?Lee P.

Drivers rear tire had 12psi. All the internet check in didnt work and I had to interact with customer service way too much and only the counter guy had a mask. They did loan me a test light to fix my truck lights but he didnt volunteer one I had to pretty much find his non mask wearing worker and got a test light.
