Eric PimentelThis is a side hustle for the Kingston Car Wash and they treat it as such. Open when the sun shines not open when it rains trailers are dropped off rented and never cleaned. Employees are annoyed when you show up to pick-up your rental.

Pablo ArieuIt's a convenient location but be aware, they do not fill up the gas for you. Mine was on empty so I had to fill it up. We also got a truck with a huge chunk out of the tire and didn't realize it until we got it home and parked.

In spite of thinking everything was set and we had to go through a simple task of picking up the truck, we experienced quite the opposite. The pickup was disorganized with little information to go by, and it seemed all of our efforts to ensure a smooth pickup were pointless. I would not rent from U-Haul again based on this experience.

Thomas WalshLocation closed early on Monday, when I dropped off the trailer. There were no instructions posted so I called customer service and they advised me to just leave the trailer. Tuesday morning I phoned and was told that they were checking in equipment and I would receive an email. Nothing came. Wednesday I called and found that the location was closed. I called customer service and learned that they had no record of my trailer being returned. Thursday I did receive an email that the trailer was in. The location is convenient if you can work around their strange schedule.
Richard HortonNo fault of the UHaul dealer but make sure the UHaul mobile app works. I had perfect cell service at this location and the UHaul mobile app would not operate correctly...LUCKILY the employees at this dealer were EXCELLENT and well trained as they were able to help me complete the p/u & d/o of the rental unit without missing a step

Jared CassMajor hassle and inconvenience trying to drop truck off. Days and numerous phone calls trying to get it straight. People at this location don't ever answer their phone and then are of no help when they do. They expect you to use the uhaul app and do all the work while they collect whatever uhaul gives them. Then they tried to scam me with a $25 bogus cleaning charge. If they are a reflection of what uhaul is really like, Uhaul would go straight-out of business. I'm still waiting for a Uhaul rep to contact me about water damage to our mattress when the wheel well leaked water all over the place.
John DragooWhen you click on return vehicle you should let the customer know that they should Parkette where they can get pictures from all sides. I parked it, took odometer pictures, and then it wanted me to take the outside pictures.

James McKennaDrop-off is to an unmanned shed in the parking lot or a car wash attendant hidden inside an office in the car wash. There are no clear directions for where or how to drop off the rental. Handed the keys to the employee at the car wash and then spent the next three days on the phone with Uhaul to verify that the return of the unit was processed as I received daily overdue notifications.

Nils CarlsonThey switched pick up locations day before and switched the time to pick up... I was not told this would be a contactless pick up. The truck I had reserved was blocked in and I spent over 45 mins on the phone trying to get the situation fixed. I was charged for the furniture pads despite telling them and the check in and out process that they were not in the truck. I also didn't have a hand cart. I also had to pay more because the location was that much further away from my destination. I would be hard pressed to use UHaul again
LORRAINE REYNOLDSThere was no staff. No response to the ring bell for service. The web site failed to allow me to self return. Just left the trailer at the site hoping it would be OK. Call in customer support was useless and couldn’t be connected to proper individual. Very frustrating.

It was not a poor experience, but being a first time renter, I would recommend dropping off at a different location

Eventually someone came out to help us. Was expecting a visual inspection and receipt but person said I was all set. I insisted and waited for paperwork indicating truck and trailer was dropped off in same condition.

Edward W. BickfordI did the pre-check the night before but there was no direction as to what to do when you got there either by email or at the location. There should be clear instructions. and no one would open the door even though I pressed the call button 3 times and the cash wash was operating. When I figured out how to login to get the truck, the system kept kicking me out and I had to start again like 6 times. When i finally got through the process, it told me I was about to get my access code and the system died again. When I got back in, it told me the truck had been dispatched and it did not list the code. When I finally found someone, it took him 30 seconds to open the lock. Why not just have them do that? In all it took me 30 minutes to pick up the truck. That is ridiculous. When i got the key, I drove it home and the furniture blankets we ordered were not in the truck. We had to drive back and get them. Then, when I returned the truck, it gave me my final invoice, which included a $7 charge for a dolly that we did not order, nor was it in the truck. I was so frustrated with the amount of time it took to pick up and drop off the truck, that I just paid it. Please refund that amount to my card. The truck worked perfectly fine. If the pick up experience had been quick and easy, this would have been a perfect review.

Rhonda smallidgeThe blankets I ordered were not available at that location, and somebody added a dolly instead. This meant I had to bug the guy in the office to come out, confirm there were no blankets, and delete the dolly from my rez. That really was no problem for me but it meant the attendant had to spend some time on the transaction.
Roger LAMORAUhaul is great for staying within 20 miles from the pickup location. Don’t be stupid like me and drive over 500 miles. Ridiculously expensive. Stay local stay happy.

Parker DunneThe vehicle was very banged up with peeling paint, lots of large scratches and trim pulled from the side of the vehicle. The inside had a broken visor on the drivers side. Fortunately the vehicle ran fine which is the important part.

Peter RowdenThe truck was very high mileage, when I tried to fuel it, the pump kept stopping, so I could not get it above the less than 1/4 tank it started with. Also, I ordered furniture pads, but there were none in the van when I picked it up. Also, the "rapid" pickup process was anything but, totally messing up the alternate phone number every, an online agent had to manually get me pay that stage.

Don't go there, extra charge is probably common, need another truck soon, will get it from someone else
Richard TobinI returned the truck after 3.5 hours and put in fuel at the location. The return process was simply ringing the back door bell. A man came out and took the keys. Told me that was the process. No email to confirm the return. Called store and they only had a canned response. 6 days later I get billed for a 4 DAY rental.

Paul AndersonI did NOT drop my trailer off at Kingston Car Wash and have never been there. I dropped it off at the contract drop location at 985 Mass Ave in Boston. Very curiously Kingston recorded my trailer number at the exact same drop off time, charged me $293 (in addition to my rental contract) for “wrong drop off” location and sent me the receipt as if I had dropped it off there. I talked to Brittney at Uhaul customer service and got a promise this would be looked into and did not receive a call back at the promised time. Sounds like fraud to collect phony fees to me.
Mitchell JohnsonI reserved a van at a location close to me. The reservation was confirmed. Yet on the day of the move, I was notified that I had to go to another town and get a 15' truck. Overall, your on line system seems overly complicated ad totally unreliable.
