Michael LeeHire competent employees who can count. There was a 19,130.85 charge placed on my credit card in error. This was in addition to the quoted charges. It’s taking 3-5 days for the correction to take place which tied up my credit card. I do not recommend this location.

Bruce NilesFor a $19 rental used less than 10 miles and 1 hour my credit card charges were more than $60. What? Not adding in the $5 of gas. Last time I get tricked. These rental places seem to all have some hidden fees that the customer is blind sided with.

Michael BurneyAfter being given a vehicle with NO gas, I still chose to do the right thing and return the truck FULL. I explained the pick-up situation to the guy at the counter. Of course he stated there was nothing he could do about it. I will NEVER use Uhaul again. I’d read other negative but thought and hoped my experience would be different. It wasn’t! This rental cost me a ton of $$$ and I’m very unhappy!! NEVER again!!!

Ayanna BarnesThe original truck I was supposed to receive was not available due to the keys being locked in the Dropbox from the previous customer. It took almost an hour for my customer service rep to get the paperwork completed even though I had reserved my truck beforehand. They didn’t have the furniture dolly that I had requested. The truck needed cleaned out, and I was not given any instructions or assistance even though this was my first time renting with Uhaul.

JASMINE NDUKUI arrived 15 minutes early and was sent away or given the option to pay an extra day for my punctuality! I was expected to hook up and verify all my lights were working without any help from the facility whatsoever! All the facility did was come out and photograph how I hooked it up and thankfully I knew how to do it correctly, when I asked if they would verify my lights were working I had to wait even though they were already outside with me they went back inside their pawnshop to sell a power washer which left me waiting for another 20 minutes before I could leave being I could not see if the trailer lights were operational or not! I have never been so inconvenienced as I was at this location!!! I am very disappointed in this last experience and if I had to rent from them again I would go to a competitor of U-Haul automatically!

Lecora MassambaYour billing system is not worth nothing. You double charge people then blame it on the bank. When you go in to the location to get the u Hal and have to give them your information to hold the unit for you , the banking system you use puts a hold on the card you are using When you turn the I u Hal back int the banking system or your billing people go in and double charge people l. You can not do this and when you call the customer service. Number all they want. To. So is blame the bank that the person who rented the u Hal are using their debit or credit card are through . You can not run a business this way. Cause it leaves a bad taste in peoples mouth and make them not want to use you again. Cause basically you are scamming people out of their money when you do this. On that not I will. It be using u Hal in the further. I will gladly put wear and tear on my personal vehicle before I do that again

Hope SummersEmployee did not issue any sort of receipt for returned trailer when asked after online self return failed. UHaul app and weblink break when trying to take interior cleanliness photos. Trailer return form from Uhaul not issued until 12/31/21 despite trailer being returned 12/21/21 , unsure if this is fault of Uhaul or the Kinston Pawn Shop.
CAMERON ROIGthe trailer had frayed wires and the passenger side tail light did not work but the directional did.

Dolphis HallWe were set up to pick the truck up using our mobile device at 7:00 am. The truck had not been prepared for us to pick it up that way. We had to wait until 10:00 am for the store to open up and get the truck.
Stuart WallYour app and online sites would not allow me to access my reservation after it was made. I had to call U-Haul to correct my reservation. On hold for about 12 minutes.
Rocky MinklerThe experience overall was great. The two people I worked with were very helpful before making the reservation. For the "Verify Equipment Condition" survey that U-Haul texted to me, I would suggest adding a comment or text box option at the bottom of it to note observations not evident in the pictures.
