The rear parking lot felt unsafe as it is behind buildings and isolated. The app did not work well, and I could not close out the session (possible connection problem at the location) causing me to have to call the site the next day and wait for them to close it. I rented a van for $19.99 plus mileage. I picked up a box at Job Lot directly across from this location and brought it home. Five miles round trip. Returned the van in well under an hour. They unknowingly and carlessly rented us a trailer with non-working brakes that destroyed the new rotors on my Suburban. They did not come out to help me hook up trailer and check anything upon pickup. Very unprofessional.Sam B.

After having to go to a different location then was originally told to me (the 1st location I was sent to didn't have the equipment I reserved), the employee at the Klis Brothers location then had me sit and watch him eat his lunch before he would assist me. Additionally, I was charged 2 times for the equipment. Once at the original location, and again at the 2nd location. I have tried to call Uhaul several times but am unable to get a service representative on the line.Veronica P.

It was the worst experience and I don't even know how you stay in business. The gentleman Jose at the location was courteous and was empathetic to my problem but there was nothing he could do to help what the website and 800# screwded upGeorge O.

My original reservation was at a different location. I received a call an hour before that my truck was not available. I had to use the location listed above which was several miles away from my original location. While I was accommodated, I was not able to receive any discount off my rental for my inconvenience.James M.

Very poor service/experience with the rental. When I left the facility, the truck had 5/8 tank of gas and the needle fluctuated as soon as I left the facility. When I returned the truck, I had slightly less than 5/8 tank, and I explained to the person who was checking me in (Jose) that the reading was not accurate to begin with. I was humiliated in front of everyone that I did not return the truck with the same amount of gas. It was truly embarrassing. I paid an extra $6.00 to cover for the missing gas. I don't mind paying the extra $ but I was made to feel that I was lying. NO customer should ever have to go through this. HORRIBLE experience which I will be sharing with my friends and family.ABHINAV M.

Uhaul accepted a one-way rental from NY to MARYLAND. The original reservation was made for a convenient pick-up within 4 miles of our desired location on Long Island, NY. However, on the day before pick-up, U-Haul called and said we needed to travel to another pick-up location which was 25 miles farther away because there were NO trucks available at ANY other U-Haul location on Long Island. Although Uhaul gave us additional free mileage, the new location was completely out of our way and added 45 minutes travel time onto our trip. I find it incredible to believe that a company as large as U-Haul does this to it's customers and did not advise us at the time of rental that a truck may not be available at our desired location. Shame on them!veronica H.

Nothing to improve at rental location- they were fantastic. but uhaul company, customer service was not friendly, almost came off rude when I had to physically speak to uhaul representative over the phone. Also uhaul should offer local moving rates that include some mileage- ESP for frequent customers, like an incentive program.JEANINE S.
