Provide the order the customer requested. I ask for 1/2 dozen furniture pads and a furniture dolly upon inspecting the truck the equipment wasn't in there. So I shouldn't see those items on my receipt but they were. Please adjust those charges I would appreciate it.Lonte C.

Double check your orders, make sure all supplies a customer orders is there!! Moving is already stressful, when you don't have the things you need but you ordered it makes things twice as hard. And communication!!! If you leave your location let someone know ASAP! You have customers relying on you.Martha C.
I rented a U-Haul truck from this location on 11/19/20 for 3 hours to move a set of couches. The location charged me for 98 miles when I only drove 11 I rented a U-Haul truck from this location on 11/19/2020. When I arrived there were already red flags. The location was filthy and employee could not figure out how to work the rental software and took a very long time to figure it out. Even though my reservation included furniture dollies the employee told me that they do not have any. I considered cancelling my reservation then but it was by far the closest location to my home and I was already there so I decided to continue. That was a big mistake. I had the vehicle for 3 hours to move two couches from down the street at a friends house to my house. In total I drive 11 miles. When I returned to the location at 5:45 to return the truck the location was closed and the lights were off even though the sign said they were open until 6pm. I had no choice but to use the drop box for keys to return the vehicle. When I received the bill stating that I had driven 98 miles I called the location immediately. I explained that was not possible and let them know I had proof of where I was in the vehicle for every minute I had it. The employee told me they didn't know how to fix that kind of issue there and I would have to call the corporate number. I called that and explained the situation again. They told me I should have been sent a walkthrough before renting the truck to confirm the miles. I tried to explain the poor service at the location and that I was not told this by the location. The rep informed me that this would need to be escalated to a Manager who would be in contact by phone within 3 business days. This did not happen. Instead I revived an email reading, "We send you a link to verify the fuel and miles along with the condition of the equipment you did not do your walk around before you left with the equipment. I will follow up with the location to see if there was an error." with no signature or other text in the email. I let him know that none of that was explained to me, that I was very unsatisfied with this, and that would have to speak with my credit card company since if was unable to assist me. .He did not respondDaniel P.

Pickup location was closed when I arrived at my appointment time of 10:30 a.m. Another tenant in the same building had to call the U-Haul operator to get them to open. This delayed me by a full hour despite checking in online. They were friendly & apologetic though, so I'll give credit there.Kevin H.

I should've taken a picture but when I got my final bill they had the gas gauge at a quarter tank indicating that I had used 3/4 of a tank. In fact when I returned the van the gas gauge read that there was 3/4 of a tank left because I only used a quarter of a tank of gas.Christopher G.

We did not revive the correct reservation. We also were given the U-Haul on half a tank of gas, and we gave it back on an eighth of a tank of gas. We were charged $52 and another $30 for fuel. I don't believe that if we only had a difference of a quarter of a tank of gas that the shares should amount to $82. All in all we love the company but we did not receive a correct u-haul reservation. We didn't receive the appliance dolly that we reserved 18 hours in advance, while the store was open and operating (giving someone the chance to complete the reservation correctly). This then caused us to have to make a drive that was a total of about 25 miles, that ultimately stopped with us ending up at the same store that we were at 2 hours ago, where we were supposed to receive our dolly in the first place. With the gas I'm sure that you can agree if only a quarter of a tank of gas is missing an individual shouldn't owe $82. We started the trip off by having to put $30 in the tank because we had to drive back and forth to get a dolly that we should have had to begin with. We would like to know if there is any way to refund us for the incomplete reservation and or the mileage we had to use looking for a dolly because of it.Charleston P.

I was told that I would only be charged for the days that I had the uhaul, which was 2 days. Instead I was charged for 5 days. Very big price difference and to be told one thing and charged for another thing is very upsetting. I did a remote pickup of the vehicle but the equipment was not inside the trailer (1 furniture dolly, 1 regular dolly, and 1 dozen furniture pads). Uhaul was very helpful when I called customer support and found me a regular dolly and furniture pads at a location near my move, but I would make sure this location remembers to place the equipment inside the truck for future remote pickups.Lars F.

Did not receive any of the equipment that I ordered...and paid for. This forced me to extend my rental a day which, ironically, cost me more money. The store is closed on Sunday, so you would figure they'd ensure that everything is right on the one day they aren't around to fix it.Alexander Jeffer C.

I didn't want to rent from this place. There was one way closer to my house with trucks available and website sent me to this location. To make matters worse, it told me I was going somewhere else at first so that is where my moving supplies were purchased. Had to make 2 stops. Lock didn't work on the truck to get the keys. I was supposed to be able to get my uhaul with the app 24/7 service and it did not work. The place didn't open until 10am, and I was supposed to be able to access the uhaul at 8am. I got ahold of the lady at 810, and she said she would be there in 30 minutes. She didn't show up until 955am. I waited For almost 2 hours in the cold outside. Then, she proceeded to tell me she couldn't rent me the 10' truck that i was Supposed to get because it's a â€œlocalâ€ vehicle. So i had To get a 15' truck. Overall a HORRIBLE experience. My movers were scheduled at 9am so i got Charged $125 extra for them waiting there. Just RIDICULOUSJason N.

Came into the location and the lady at the front desk was with another customer, she was very kind but seemed quite flustered. My pick up was scheduled for 10am and by the time I was able to get my U-Haul, it was close to 11am. I later found out upon dropping off my U-Haul that the vehicle she rented out to me was incorrect which made for a lot of difficulty during my drop off. I don't know if she's new to U-Haul, but she just didn't seem familiar with the rental process, which is a shame because she was very kind.Josh D.

I arrived at this location around 8:30am and used mobile check in. First thing that went wrong, the lock on the trailer to get the keys was not the one registered to my truck so I had to call customer service and wait for a new code to get the keys. Got that straightened out, opened cargo door only to see there's NONE of the hand carts that I ordered and NEEDED. I was told that I could to pick them up at a different uhaul location in DOWNTOWN DALLAS with a 26ft truck. Declined the offer to just wait it out until the shop opened at 10. But it didn't open at 10, whoever worked there felt like they could just show up to work 45 minutes late. There was up to 6 angry people waiting outside Lady Magic waiting to get their rentals. After 2 hours, I finally got the hand carts I needed. If you're going to offer a service like mobile check-in, then make sure you do it right and hire competent workers who show up on time to fix their mistakes. WORST UHAUL EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.Melissa D.

Unfortunately, less than halfway through my trip, the strap on my front, passenger tire came off and needed to be re-done. Also, it was hard to find someone when I came in two separate times. I'd suggest a doorbell or them getting cameras if they're not going to be at the front desk. Overall, not a bad time.Breona A.

This was the worst experience, I literally spoke to the first rude lady for 1 and 45 mins I'm in lyft she sent me to 3 different location no person there on a Monday, she was not helpful spoke to another lady because the first one hu she a small bit but transfer me as well by now my phone is 2% from 95% it hangs up I have to catch lyft home charge phone back call U-Haul back on hold again then on the phone for another 45 mins when the finally got me a key, unprofessional not organized plain rude I will never go through them again use another because they clearly don't care about the customer.
