The access to the lot was difficult to locate at night, the location for the drop off lot was unsafe (no lighting, completely dark, placed right next to the woods, not fencing or protection)

BRENT AIt looks like the U-Haul business at this location is a sideline to the grocery store. I had to wait approximately 45 minutes for someone who had U-Haul knowledge to arrive at the store. I was referred to this secondary location since my primary U-Haul location did have the equipment I needed. The primary location was professionally staffed and well organized.

Keith TThis entire U-Haul experience has been awful. The Lakewood store personal were helpful and I do not blame them for what happened. However, the maintenance of the U-Haul equipment OVERALL is terrible. We had rented a tow dolly and the left side wheel bearing blew out not even one hundred miles into the trip. The tire went rolling down the road and could have caused serious damage or injured someone. It did hit the side of my car leaving damage (pictures have been sent in). Also, we were left stranded without a replacement or real answers for well over 3 hours with me, my kids, and 5 month pregnant wife in the Texas heat. It was absolutely miserable! I expect a full refund AND for U-Haul to pay the damages to my car. This is completely unacceptable. Your equipment needs to be checked thoroughly before letting it out. This is completely on U-Haul.
Austin AU-Haul didn’t recommend the closest location to me. The U-Haul location didn’t have all the equipment I requested. I then had to add more miles to the rental to pick it up from their other location. Manager said he would credit me 5 miles that never happened. Would not rent from yall Again.

Manuel ODid not get the trailer that I had looked at 2 weeks prior to picking up. I had a reservation and we walked out to look at the trailers with ramps and I was told it would be available. It was not! We were stuck with a dirty one, last available. And I was overcharged ! The price online was not the price invoice was charged. Not happy with this at all !

Christine CI dropped off after 5 so the U-Haul part was closed. But I have to say that I went in person to book the truck a few weeks prior and the gentleman was super nice. He registered my reservation and then when I saw the size of the truck and wanted to change it he didn’t hesitate. Was super nice about it. Overall I had a really good experience with U-Haul.

Sherlonda LWe were given great customer service by owner, Steven and his team. The truck was clean, ready to go, and easy check out and return. The toll road system was confusing being an out of towner; though the fees don't appear to be high per toll but we are waiting for the toll road bill from UHAUL. Apparently there will be the toll road fee plus a handling fee for toll transactions. I would definitely recommend this UHAUL location ant the Lakewood Food Store.
Laura Kit's clean, and you can see exactly where to park the uhaul. It was dark and quiet, but inviting.

I was told if I kept it my card would be charged until I returned it and now I've got a 1900 bill for having it 3 weeks and only driving it only 500 miles. 21 days x 19.95 a day + .69 per mile x 500 miles doesn't add up to 1900

Jesse SDolly and furniture dolly were not available even though they were in my reservation. The location indicated that this is U-Haul’s fault - the location does not ever rent dolly’s but U-Haul still indicates there available via the website. Tired were inflated to nearly 90 psi where the rears should have been at 80psi and the fronts were nearly at 90psi when they should have been 60psi. Possibly dangerous. Alignment was off and pulling right - location said this was normal. Is U-Haul sending vehicles down the road in such unsafe manners? We are in need of another moving van in 2 weeks and because of this experience will be shopping around.

FRANCIS MI was charged for a locksmith, after my keys to the rented truck were turned in. My debit card was then charged into the negative. THE HANDLING OF BUSINESS WAS VERY POOR. Take pictures and videos of all paperwork. VIDEO YOUR KEYS INTO THE DROP BOX, video your mileage and MONITOR YOUR BANK ACCOUNT. I’m going back to get my money after they found the KEYS IN THE DROPBOX! BW
