The waiting time was horrible 45 min wait , the girl was very confused and didn't know how to use her lap top very well more training would help her. Also the truck was on empty and totally dirty that was very frustrating when I had a set time to use this uhaul overall it was not a good experienceLoius V.

I got double charged $119 upon pick up. When I asked the employee they assured me that was not the case. I arrived at the location on time for drop off as per the contract agreement however, there was no one at the location during business hours. I did my due diligence and locked the dolly I rented in the truck and used the drop box they had for uhaul keys outside the door. I thought this would be reasonable considering I waited 40 minutes for an employee to arrive. I checked my bank statement later that evening and I was charged an extra $25 which I'm assuming was for the use of the drop box. VERY VERY UNIMPRESSED.Mackenzie M.

The uhaul was filthy, other people's items still in the cab as well as used napkins etc. Stains and sticky stuff all over the cup holders. With COVID still being a concern, I would have expected it to be clean. The staff didn't say much at pickup or drop off and then forged my signature in the receipt document that I was never shown.Jillian J.

Uhaul was switched for one almost half the size. Original size had been booked to have a ramp and the 10' did not and was too small resulting in several extra trips and more mileage costs. The back door cables were broken causing a major safety issue and inconvenience as it was extremely difficult to open and close the door (required tools to make it work). Had ordered a dolly and cart and moving blankets and none of those were supplied, with no call or notice in advance indicating this so I was unable to make alternate arrangements for those things. I went to pick up vehicle and the keys were not available when agreed upon. Regional manager showed up and was helpful in getting me on my way and issued a $50 credit on the spot. Unfortunately whoever dropped the truck off previously did not clean the truck. The inside floors were caked in mud and there was takeout food wrappers stuffed between the seats. The outside of the truck was caked with red mud. Since I did not pick up a clean truck I did not drop it off clean. Yet i have been charged the $25 cleaning fee. So you are charging me because I didn't clean the all ready filthy truck. Now that is a scam and a half. Very not impressed at allRonald C.

They say gas was recorded @ 3/4, yet it was @ 5/8, Windshield Was fluid could not see the level = Very Low. I had to sweep the half shovel of dirt from the cube van box, Candies in the window defrost vents, Incompetent of Safety First & Incompetent of Knowledge of Equipment. No Office Printer, Now Wash Fluid & No Elect 4 wire extention from the U-Haul Trailer to the rented Tail / Brake & Turn Trailer Light Plug in. No Clue of Safety for the customer & they let me leave Un-Safe, I went to the U-Haul Station @ Central Ave & Squire St in Thunder Bay that I have the highest Respect For & Although they were not really obliged to correct all of my Safety Issues, They Fixed my serious concerns & they @ Central & Squire in Thunder Bay Ontario are a Credit To U-Haul. That Memorial outfit should have an "Under-Cover Boss pose as a Customer. I'd rather do business with Larry, Moe & Curly, High Respects for the Central & Squire Shop. Customer Service is @ Central & Squire, But Not @ Memorial. Liability is a big issue here on your U-Haul Reputation.KARL G.

Hello This is in no way a complaint, but quite the opposite. I want to commend and say thank you to the young lady working at the 707 Memorial Avenue, Thunder Bay location. I wish I had taken the time to get her name. I was under a considerable amount of stress, dealing with a very difficult situation when I arrived to pick up my scheduled truck. It may have seemed like a small gesture for her, but her kindness and attentiveness left me feeling like I just might get through the horrible day that lay ahead of me. I wanted to just express my gratitude - and how much I appreciated the beautiful customer service she displayed.Koralea R.
This was not the location we chose. We asked for Johns st rd which is beside our house and instead had to drive across town to pick up and drop off. Truck was dirty (had sunflower seeds all over the place). It was not the size of truck we ordered either and we got stuck with a smaller truck and had to make more runs. Also when we picked it up the gas tank was on empty. Very poor service. We have used uhaul a number of times and have always been happy in the past. After this experience it will be our last.Mario A.
My reservation was for 10:30, I had to wait a half an hour as the location did not open until 11. Once it opened the worker told me that she gave me instructions on how to get my key, but I never received any and she fumbled to find them herself. I then was told that I had to bring the truck back in 3hrs (you're given 4 to move). I brought it back and then there was an issue with the amount of fuel. It was barely below what it was when I received the truck as I was only moving 5km away.. I had to put $10 worth of fuel into it to make them happy. Overall, a terrible experience. Will never rent a uhaul from that location again.Maddison H.

When I picked up the truck it was covered in road salt (Northwestern Ontario in winter) couldn't see out the windows, mirrors were coated in salt. the interior was really really dirty. I had to clean it and wash all the glass before starting my trip.kathleen R.

My pick up location was changed to this store. they did not have the box dolly I requested and said they would not get one for a week while the previous location I chose DID have one.Im I was asked by the store emp to open ALL of the other trucks and trailer to look for my reserved dolly. I also selected mobile pick up but still had to enter the store to pick up my key instead of using the exterior boxes. Snow was not properly cleared around the truck so I was not able to propery inspect the passenger side at time of pick up and slipped twice while inspecting the driver side. Also snow was not cleared around the other trucks when I was looking for my dolly. At drop off the emp did not inspect the truck and said she would do it herself afterwards. (she was dealing with another non-uhaul customer at the time). No issues were found I assume as I got my emailed receipt not long after. Overall not a great experience at the location but the truck ran great and got the job done. I will go back to my orig pick up location if possible next time.Shamus C.

Maybe was 10 minutes after the time to drop off and got charged for another day and a full insurance and a $50 dollar charge for gas which it was at the mark I got the truck. Only drove 20 km if that. So my final bill was was more then double then I should've paid. Was automatically charged to my credit card without my acknowledgment. She just charged it to the credit card From my file. I will go to the location tomorrow to ask how this is possible. Very disappointed when I got my email bill.MASSIMOA P.
