Would have been nice to have the dolly and blankets specified in the truck itself instead of me loading them but I'm unclear on what the actual process is. All else was good. I arrived there just after 8am when the store opened and there were already close to 4 people in line. With only a single staff member present, it would have been nice if he would have had some help but I do not know what the staffing levels typically are at this location.

rob nEven after booking of 2 Dolly alongwith the 15' truck 15 days in advance, I didn't get it. The person at the counter told it is out of stock. This could had been informed to me 1 or 2 days in advance so that I could had made alternate arrangements. He didn't even helped getting from any alternate location.
Gagan DI am writing to raise a concern regarding an unexpected charge on my recent rental. I made a reservation through the U-Haul website last week for a 10' truck. During the online booking process, I did not select or opt in to any additional insurance coverage, including the Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). However, after completing my rental and reviewing the final contract and charges, I noticed that a CDW fee of $16.00 (before tax) was added to my bill without my consent. For your reference: • Contract Number: 23431968 • Rental Date: April 11, 2026 • Pickup Location: LAVIN CAR RENTAL, North York Since I did not authorize or select this coverage at any point during the booking or pickup process, I kindly request a full refund of this $18.08 (tax included) charge. Gary QThe truck was not filled with gas, so it was hard to know how much gas to leave in the truck. There appears to have been an extra gas charge that I don’t think was correct, but it just enough that I don’t care to bother disputing the charge. It seemed dishonest and even if that was not the intention that’s how it came across.

RECEP IAwsome experience yesterday, when moving from a 2 bedroom apartment to a 4 bedroom apartment. Ali was the representative helping me yesterday and he couldn’t have been more wonderful and helpful. He took the time to do the check in for me as I explained to him I’m in a rush. I also spoke about returning the truck to him and he advised me to bring it before 6pm. And I will do that the next time too, it was a very smooth pick-up and drop-off both thanks to Ali. I will always get my U-hauls without a doubt from here. Wonderful experience specially during a stressful time.

amir kWhen I arrived, there was no truck available for me. I am not certain whether this was due to overbooking, but that was the impression I got. The truck I eventually received was brought out from the backyard at the last minute. It looked like it was about to be taken in for maintenance, felt old and worn out, and had not even been properly cleared of snow. None of the equipment I ordered was available, and the windshield wipers were broken. I had to stop during my move to go to Canadian Tire and purchase replacement wipers myself. Since I could only move today, I had no choice but to use this truck. This experience was very disappointing and has made me reconsider renting from U-Haul in the future.

Maaz DThey are scammers! Do not get your truck from here ! I parked my car at the spot where truck was parked. They called I cannot park there because it was a their private property ! I had to come back just to park my car somewhere else or they said they will block my car. When I returned my truck I filled up the tank exactly to the point I got it but still the next day they charged me more for the fuel. Very bad experience.
Arav PSome small garbage left in the vehicle, like empty coffee cup in door side cup holder, consider cleaning everything up next time.
Yuxin MThe windshield was too dirty; it was difficult to see the streets at night. In addition, water container for windshield wipers had no water in it, so it was impossible to clean the windshield. There was also too much dirt on headlights. I had to clean them myself. Another problem was that windshields became foggy from inside, which made it difficult to see the streets clearly.
Saeid HAli was such a nice man, welcoming, and respectful. He greatly knows the customers request and he takes a proper action. I greatly appreciated.

ALI EThis was my first time using this location, and the staff were kind and friendly. He walked me through the van and explained how to use the gears, which I really appreciated. Due to inclement weather, my move ran longer than expected, and he generously did not charge me for the overtime. One downside was the availability of dollies. I ordered one when reserving the truck, but it wasn’t available at pickup and the system didn’t flag this in advance, which was challenging given the heavy furniture I was moving. Overall, I would return to this location. Next time, I’ll call ahead to confirm the availability of additional supplies.
