I sent in a previous review with an above average rating (as opposed to Excellent) because I thought I had been charged for extra hours when the U-Haul representative said we could start the rental from when I picked it up as opposed to when I had booked it (3 pm vs 11 pm). I was mistaken and your representative was true to his word. He was friendly and accommodating. Thank you. It was a stressful 24 hours moving our daughter.

It was a good experience for my first time renting a 10ft truck. Book online. Go there. They have a parking space for your car too. Take the truck and bring it back once you are done. Make sure to fill up with the gas you used before you drop it off. The man was very nice and very efficient. Truck was clean and easy to operate.

If nothing else it should be asked if a customer has ever driven this type of vehicle. If not a little run through of the basics. For example, parking break release, whippers switch, dumb little things you don’t think about but are not in the spots of a standard car. On my way out I saw a young lady struggle to find the gear shifter, just saying

The issue is not the location, it is that the Uhaul app literally NEVER works for checking in and picking up. The only time it has ever worked for me is for dropping off.

Great experience renting a vehicle from this location. One of the best things is the flexibility to drop off the car at any time, as well as the convenience of being able to park your own vehicle on-site. Friendly and responsive staff made the whole process smooth and easy.

I had hard time with head office of the rental company, they were charging my pickup location about 3 time, Then i went to this pickup location Finch 41 Finch Ave W North York, ON M2N2H8, The person in this office are super friendly he has the knowledge of customer service, he treats me very nice and he give me the truck on time, And when I return the truck he was there even it’s holiday, I highly recommend to this place

Cancelled my existing appointment without checking in with me. Gave me another truck when I got there and charged me for the bigger size, without the dolly I ordered either. Essentially cancelled my appointment and gave my equipment away to please another customer that came by. Also saw one of the employees back up the van into another truck (on his first day) while sorting out the bookings.

The dealer was unable to provide the truck at the reserved pickup time. We have already waited 30 minutes, and I overheard another customer saying they had been waiting for over an hour. I find the $50 Reservation Guarantee unfair to customers. When customers make reservations in advance, we often arrange movers, elevator bookings, time off work, and other logistics based on the confirmed pickup time. In reality, most customers feel compelled to keep waiting rather than accept the $50 compensation and cancel their plans. The inconvenience and additional costs caused by a delayed vehicle can easily exceed $50. I believe the current guarantee does not adequately compensate customers for the disruption caused when a reserved vehicle is not available as promised.

We arrived late night after a tiresome day and wanted to dropp off but the employee in uhaul told us to drop the car somewhere else and he does not have a place to park so we had to drive another location far away from the first one and got charged extra miles and had to pay more gas and extra mileage. This is not acceptable and no one offered us anything becasue of these inconveniences.

I ordered moving blankets through the app. Thought it was guaranteed so I did not bring anything of my own. Turns out they had none. I said I don't want a truck without anything to protect the furniture. So they called a few uhauls and said there was one that had 2 dozen blankets. I drive there with the rented truck and they only had 2 blankets. I spent 30 minutes calling every uhaul that was open and none of them had any supplies. So I had to drive the truck to a Walmart and spend $100+ on supplies. Lots of extra time and money and unnecessary milage that i got charged for. Terrible experience.

Service was great (a staff came out to bring the truck while I was checking in online. And provided instructions for parking after returning. A couple issues with the truck though. 1. driver side visor does not hook in place. It flops down obscurring vision. If I place it to the side, it swings and hits my head. 2. The lift door gets stuck near the top.

This is my second experience at this location but I decide to check-in in person this time and I had a opportunity to meet owner, Mr. ali this time. He is a nice gentleman with friendly professional behaviour. For sure I’ll come back here again and also recommend this location to everybody. Thanks ali

The truck was a little sketchy, but I believe it was being rushed back to the states because its Ontario registration sticker expired in April and it was overdue for maintenance. The actual rental facility was clean and comfortable, had lovely art on the walls, and was run by a very friendly gentleman.

After I received the invoice, I saw that U-Haul charged me $60.66 even though I only drove the truck for about 3 miles. The fuel charge for such a short distance should be much lower. I was also charged $16 for insurance coverage that I did not request or agree to. Please remove this charge and review the invoice.
