Daryl HThe truck broke down twice while using it and the repair was delayed without explanation. The issue was not with the feed store but with the equipment which was in need of repair and service on pickup. The battery went bad during the rental period and the ac blower fan went out same day. The move was very difficult and the rental ended up being extended with the truck being picked up by a wrecker because of being overdue. I was not made aware a wrecker was coming to pick up the empty truck and had to rent another truck after the initial truck broke down twice during the move. I was threatened with arrest and towing of my titled property and the Uhaul because of the truck breakdown. This is most certainly the worst move we ever experienced and the week of my birthday and my eldest's son's birthday on top of everything else. The week was so bad that we did not even have a chance to stop to celebrate amidst turmoil we were experiencing. After uhaul came to pick up the truck with a wrecker, the police were called on us and we had to rent another truck from another service to complete the move. The delays in returning the truck were the result of severe exhaustion and difficulty in finding the next place to stay. In picking up the truck without providing us notice a wrecker was coming, Uhaul forced additional expense on us without notice amidst an already very difficult situation. Uhaul will be paid in full for the rental as soon as I am able. I learned a lot about Uhaul from this experience and I was shocked. You need to maintain your equipment better and treat your customers better. If I am dealing with equipment breakdowns, Uhaul needs to fix it timely instead of timing out requests without explanation during roadside emergency. Uhaul does nor advise clients that if the truck is overdue the roadside assistance services will not be rendered until the contract is paid up current. That is critical information that should be stated verbally upfront and it was not stated to me. The equipment breakdown led to threats of arrest from a business owner and their employee and significant emotional distress for me as a customer as well as threats that the truck would be towed along with my titled property from a crooked business manager's property. This is the first time Uhaul has ever picked up equipment from me and will be the last time as I now understand much better how the company operates when dealing with overdue equipment. The move was horrible and I hope to own my own truck next time I have to move because I do not want to repeat the experience I had with Uhaul and their equipment breaking down. I was very disappointed with how the situation was handled when repairs were needed. I expect when a roadside emergency is occuring for Uhaul to respond timely abd not to time our service requests in the middle of the night leaving us stranded (which is exactly what they did). I awoke to a maintenance man beating on my front door at Kemah RV Resort and threatening me with towing of my property, the broken down Uhaul Rental, and arrest if the truck and my property were not moved immediately. It was not my fault the equipment broke down. I always pay my debts. I have been a good customer more times than I can count across many moves over the years. Uhaul needs to maintain it's equipment better and communicate better with customers.
Christopher HThe only issue with the drop off location was after choosing that location which was 1.5 miles from the house it turned out be over 20 miles away which forced me to to put more gas in the vehicle. It was not the drop off locations fault, it was the uhaul website.

Malique LAlthough my truck had high miles, it ran great, A/C was cold, and got the job done without any issues. The League City Feed Center staff were friendly and efficient. The store location was perfect for my needs and I would definitely use the pickup location again.

I had an excellent experience with the Uhaul Associates at the feed store. They are great people. I will rent from this location again. I highly recommend this location for my return business and to friends and family.

Gerardo VWhen I went to get my trailer it was pouring down rain and the guys at the rental location brought the trailer out to my truck and hooked it up for me. I returned it a little after hours and the guys were still there and helped me unhook it. Very good customer service!

john mThere were dolleys in the store although I ordered two ahead of time. I couldn’t find any dolleys anywhere else and had to move without a dolley which was extremely difficult. Am disappointed with uhaul not reserving dolleys for customers. I dont agree that it should remain dependent on availability

Roger BWell I’ve used U-Haul many times and this time was very expensive for the same exact trailer I always rent to haul my motorcycle to or from home usually it’s around 170$ for a 3 day rental this time it was 405$ and the guy said some BS about the direction I was heading! So when I drop it off I asked the lady to check what it would cost to take that same trailer back to Texas in a week and the cost was going to be 159$! So why was I charged 405$? Not a happy customer!!!!
