There was nobody at the site, so I had to self check out, but the cell service was so limited that it took around 30 minutes total to upload each of the photos that I took.

This was my drop off location for truck and trailer. When got there the owner was sitting outside having a conversation with a couple of people told me to just leave the truck where I stopped and put it on the counter put the keys on the counter inside. Did not do a walk-through of the truck did not check for damages or see if it was clean or anything like that well I was there.

the person at the drop-off location was sitting in a back room, (lights off) and didn't come out of the back room to the counter to speak with me. He just told me to leave the key. no paperwork, no confirmation. subsequently, i received an email of "not returned equipment" because the drop off person did not submit the paperwork indicating that i had dropped the vehicle off. Luckily, I had taken pictures of the truck in front of the drop off place as well as kept my receipt for the gas top-up prior to drop off. THIS DROP OFF LOCATION IS NOT A GOOD REFLECTION ON U-HAUL. The pick up location and the person on the telephone I spoke to about the 'not returned equipment' email were both really great. The drop off place WAS TERRIBLE.

1. Location was unable to give me a contract to review or sign. 2.Location changed the contract from the reservation #25047305 that was ordered and confirmed! 3. My reservation #25047305 was for $266 + $51. 4. Uhaul charged my credit card $701.66...now fighting to get the difference back!

The biggest problem was i was told i could pick up the trailer in Southampton that was close to my house. But ended up in Greenport .that required me to either drive around the peconic.bay or take two ferries across to get there. Which was a extra expense and a 30 mile trip the other way after i got the trailer.That was not the fault of lighthouse marine

Not satisfied with uhaul itself not specifically location. Got confirmation stating pickup was in riverhead. Confirmed this with Riverhead. Went to Riverhead the day before pickup only to find out trailer was not there. After several phone calls from the Riverhead location I was assured I could pickup trailer in riverhead on Monday morning at 9am. At 730 am Monday morning I received a call from uhaul directly stating I would have to travel to greenport to pick up trailer. Not only was this an inconvenience but costly. I lost almost 2 hrs. In travel time. I askef Laurie in the Holtsville officee if I would be compensated for uhaul error only to be answered no in a rude manor. The people in Riverhead did all they could to help but the error was somewhere else possibly the uhaul office itself. I feel I should have received some compensation and not rudeness.

Pick up the actual phone rather than send blanket emails accusing people of not returning their vehicles

This is the worst location i have ever visited totally incompetent and dishonest , i had to wait for over 2 hours to pick up my truck because their computer was not working and then i had to do a self check out and then they had the audacity of charging me for an extra day claiming that my rental period was only for 22 hours when i waisted half of my day.

99 cents per mile charge is too much. The should be a minimum, say the first 30 miles are free before the mileage charge kicks in.

The Uhaul computer system was slow for the dealer to quickly make and revise my reservation. On two separate occasions the dealer had to call me back to confirm reservation changes because the UHaul computer system couldn't confirm the changes instantaneously. Investing in a an efficient web site for your dealers will ultimately create a better end consumer experience.
