He did not listen to what I was telling him over the phone before I came. So he gave me false information. And what I needed to know I cannot get from him I had to call the one 800 number and she was amazing. I was able to pick my drop off and he basically kept telling me that I wasn't and I could not bring the truck back to him.Desiree C.
It took us an hour standing in the cold to get the code to get the key in the back of the vehicle. I submitted all the info they wanted and they told me they couldnt verify it and closed out chat. I had to call and stand on hold and chat at the same time. Worst ever!!! Then when returning the vehicle the lock broke in our hands. I had to wait on hold for a person (that never picked up for and hour and half) start a chat that closed out again!!....and no one offered any kind of help..I work in customer service as well and I would have offered some kind of help with the bill or something!!! But no one helped with anything...never would I do that againJESSICA G.

No other equipment onsite so confusing as to if you are in the right place. Attendant had no idea how to process return. After trying several things I figured out that I had to log into the Uhaul website and do it myself. Easy once I figured that out with no help from the attendant. Maybe the website said this was just a drop off park with no support but I didnt notice that. Will be much more careful in the future about which locations I pick.James B.

Our past experiences with Uhaul have been great, but today was terrible. We rented the Uhaul from 9am - 12pm and didn't drive it off the lot until 10. We opted to utilize the self pickup but the screen was stuck on â€œAwaiting Approvalâ€ for about 20 minutes. I tried using the chat feature to inquire about it and never got a response. We had to go into the station to finish up the approval process and had to wait additional time because the same issues were occurring for other customers. The staff of the station confirmed our drop off time of noon because another customer was renting it right after us, but we had already lost an hour of the time that we had allotted for. We said that we would do our best to be back by noon but it wasn't our fault that it took an hour to get the truck off of the lot. It was just a terrible experience overall.Thomas D.

Spent almost an hour that I was supposed to have the u-haul trying to get the key because the person at the gas station counter said I should have a code to unlock the back when in the end he had the code.Nicholas F.
I will never be using U-Haul again. Actually contact customers about disputes in claim and price. Do not charge customers for services not requested. Properly train phone representatives to accurately guide customers to solutions rather than completely distribute falsehoods at increased cost to the customer. Take responsibility for misinformed representatives, apologize, and not charge for the ensuing extensions of time and miles due to false information given by the representatives of U-Haul.Dean P.
This store was great. The staff were courteous and actually had the truck in stock unlike Pennsylvania Ave. This was my third Uhaul location. Thanks Shell!!@ And they were very culturally competent.Sharon S.
I called the Uhaul customer service to get a break down of my charges since I got movers as well. I did not receive any answers of the breakdown and I was told numerous times that they didn't charge me therefore, they did not why I was charged and it had nothing to do with their part. I was not even calling to dispute, I just wanted a breakdown of the bill. At the location, I rented the truck from 2-6 but returned the truck at 3:20pm with a tank full (the tank was a quarter to full when I received it). I was charged around $86. I understand that I ended up using about 20 more miles and when I asked if I would be refunded for the amount of hours I did not use, I was told the truck rental was for 24 hours. I was shocked because if I knew that, I would not be rushing my move. This whole experience was bad. I've used Uhaul numerous times but for some reason, this was the worst.Ei Ei S.

Find the glitch in the on line reservation that I completed but was not there when arrived, and i was confused about the price three different times.Denise M.
Customer service was the worse. They assigned me to this place because another location could not honor my reservation. Upon arrival there were items in my bill that I didn't ask for. The time to redo this reservation caused a major delay in plans and my move. There's a budget near me. I'll go that route moving forward.Mallory D.

The rates advertised are deceptive. A day is defined as 5 hours. Insurance was added on without my ok. The truck was fine and the clerks were nice but the total cost was outrageous. I should have gone with penske.Chae C.

I was charged extra miles despite only driving the calculated miles. I have rented a uhaul several times and have never had this occur, so I called to inquire about it. I ended up leaving the phone call feeling more confused about why I was charged than before with no clear explanation to why I was charged extra miles in the first place. Unfortunate, as I have never had any issues with uhaul ever before and it has always been my go to place when I move.Searra R.
When I went to return the equipment, the gentleman at the register was hostile towards me. He said "let me guess, you're here to return that big hunk of shit." He then proceeded to tell me that he was "too busy for this shit" and was overall in a bad mood. I would never recommend that location to anyone. Linden Ave Shell did an exceptionally good job assisting me with my uhaul trailer rental. I was very satisfied with the Linden location. But I am very disappointed in the original pickup location that was assigned to me. That was 512 Pennsylvania Ave, Baltimore. That location was nowhere near where I had requested a pickup. I wanted a rental close to Catonsville and was told Pennsylvania Ave was the only one that had the trailer I wanted. This was almost 10 miles from my desired location and it is also in a very unsafe area of Baltimore. I then looked online, I found this not to be true because after I was told that I found 2 locations near Catonsville that had the size trailer I wanted. The location I then used was only one mile from me. I don't appreciate the inconvenience and stress involved in the assignment of a pickup location that didn't meet my request and I had to find another one myself.Theresa S.

I cannot say enough about Chuck & his employees! They went above and beyond to make this experience a much more pleasant one than my previous rental. The company's 'system' for selecting here you will pick up your rental from needs a MAJOR OVERHAUL!!!! But other than the company's system, this rental was actually an easy one.
