I got a call the night before my pickup that the location had been changed from Rimouski to Matane - no biggie, I was kind of execting it. But the day of, this location in Matane calls ME like 4h before pick-up saying that actually they need to keep the truck here for another client who needs it 4 days later.... Had to call uhaul and wait on hol forever before they confirmed I could like go get the truck but meanwhile I already have to drive an hour away. Plus the truck had the engine light on and a message about the gas cap, I was worried we'd have issues with it but no problems and no problems with the return either but I was concerned.
Valerie RI reserved a 15-foot truck one week in advance. My reservation was confirmed, and I was told the truck would be available. After driving 8 hours to pick it up, I was informed only 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time that the 15-foot truck was no longer available and that I could only have a 10-foot truck. As a result, not all of our equipment fit in the truck. We had to drive 8 hours back with only half of the equipment and will now have to make another 8-hour trip in three weeks to pick up the rest. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that the reserved truck will actually be available, even with a confirmed reservation. The staff member at the Eric Sport location was very kind and helpful. The issue is entirely with U-Haul’s reservation system. To make matters worse, the rental price increased by $140 even though we were given a smaller truck than the one we originally reserved. This experience was extremely disappointing and caused significant inconvenience, additional travel, and extra expenses.

Joniel PHaving better control of the equipment at the locations, especially in remote aeras. We were forced to stay an extra 24 hours at our departure location because the previous renter hadnt returned the keys to our truck and the rental location was closed on Sunday. Thats when I realized uHaul is an American company with no real regards to different realities, such as in remote areas. Truck’s rental details/equipment had been updated 2-3 times because there was always something wrong with something.
Catherine GAs we talked, we had many issues with the truck AND the service. I’ll not repay everything here, you have everything in hands. We’re waiting to receive a compensation that includes money for the workers that I’ve paid for nothing, the hours we lost and the bad service experience. Have a nice day!

Johanne PPetit commentaire : Il manque de camions au Bas-St-Laurent - Gaspésie alors qu'il y en avait plein de disponibles à Québec ... Nous avons dû faire un aller-retour de 3h (Rimouski-Matane) pour se procurer le dernier disponible.... peut-être que de rééquilibrer un peu les quantités serait approprié! Nous avons eu un très bon service à Matane!

Marie-Renee LJai remplir le réservoir essence lors du retour du camoin , on ma changer 28 litres essence quand j ai juste faite 50 km avec le camion et remis plein quand. Très mal honnête.

ELIANDR GJ’ai du faire un nettoyage de l’habitacle et laver les vitres. Les sièges et le volant étaient très sale. Ça ne sentait pas très bon à l’intérieur. J’ai nettoyé et ventilé le véhicule.

DANY LLa réservation de la remorque n’avait pas été enregistré chez le détaillant puisqu’elle provenait du site uhaul. Heureusement, ils ont été en mesure de m’en fournir un, mais il y a clairement un « bug » sur votre site de réservation qui ne communique pas avec les détaillants participants. Un gros problème à rectifier!

JONATHAN FWe had reserved for a 10 x10 truck in Gaspé, QC NOT in Matane, QC! We had to rent a car ROUNDTRIP between Gaspé and Matane on Friday May 31st 2024 in order to pick up our truck. Once we got there, the truck 10 x 10 truck we had been told would be there, was not there! We were then given a 20 foot truck. This is unacceptable to us! We have filled an official dispute for Full reimboursement.

donald cLes 3 personnes quon a vu pour le drop off étaient sympathique et tres précis J’ai adorer mon expérience avec eux La cours était un peu pleine mais jai su après qu’il avait un point de dépôt un peu loin sur le chemin . Peut-être juste indiqué dans le courriel ou le texto ce point de dépôt
