I have returned the vehicle on same day, don't know why they charged me 3 days rent. The person at the desk was not a professional , he is like mechanic and don't know how to print contract doc. He didn't give any contact doc and I didn't sign anything. vehicle was dirty not even clean snow on windsheeld. Gas was only half tank when I return and filled more than half tank millage was only 15 and filled 3 gallons . still they charged me 10 for gas I don't know why? As I said not a good place to rent and I don't recommend to that place.Srinivasa C.

1. The uhaul was too dirty from inside. (The steering wheel was sticky, drivers cabin was smelly.) 2. The AC didn't work. 3. The uhaul had a very bad suspension. 4. Even though I had booked in advance and arrived to pick up the truck on time, I was kept waiting for 30 minutes.Rupesh L.

1. Sales person sold our driver insurance that was already prepaid. When calling for a refund, customer service could not find record of the sale, even with a credit card number. 2. Our original reserved truck wasn't available on the day, so they gave us a bigger one at a farther away location. We got charged the extra mileage, even tho they said they were removing the extra charges. 3. The equipment (dollies and blankets) we ordered and prepaid weren't given to our driver, so we had to waste an hour trying to get a customer service agent (gave up after a half hour) and then drive to another U-Haul store to pick up. We had eight annoyed movers sitting around for an hour during this time.Remy B.
When returning the truck using the lock box, please explain that a picture of the gas gauge and odometer need to be taken before the keys are turned in. This is not explained in the contract.Viviane C.

The earliest I could pick up the truck was 11:30 and the location closed at noon Saturday. The truck I had reserved was not checked in prior, so a call was made to a regional office (I assume) to check it in. The wait ended up being 25 minutes and was a bit rushed. Luckily there was little prior damage to catalog. Good overall, but that was a bit of a frustration.Scott A.

I had ordered mattress bags from your website and it did not appear on my contract. The gas tank was marked on the contract as full but a quarter tank was used when I receive the vehicle. Also the Uhaul dealer did not have bags to sell. Not a great experienceSohail D.

There some technological issues that cause a delay to rent the cargo van. In turn, I was not able to remove all the items out of my condo in a timely manner. This has caused issues with the association. The technological issues were that my screen shots of my license were not being uploaded to the third party vendor's computer.Riki S.

They were not very friendly or helpful. I had reserved a hand cart and some furniture pads. There was no mention of it and when I asked they simply said they didn't have them. They seemed perturbed that I would even ask. This is not the location's fault: I turned the vehicle in after the location had closed for the day. The website was difficult to navigate and I ended up being on the phone for quite some time trying to get the transaction finished.Tony G.

The U-Haul online reservation app was not very good. Half-way through the process, it experienced an 'error'. While customer service was quick to answer the phone, they transferred me to the IT department, where I had to tell my entire story again. They advised me to go into the office for assistance....what's the point on the app?? Rep inside the store said this happens all the time. He was great, and completed the process in a few minutes. I'm always keen on trying new technology....this one didn't work.John D.

After hours drop off was a pain. I was told to call U-Hauls 800 number to let them know I was dropping off, but no-one answered the phone on Sat at 5:40 pm. The app needed to verify my location, but my phone's location service was not on. It was miserable and frustrating trying to figure out how to verify I was dropping off on time. My husbands phone had its location service on so he was finally able to use the app.Beth R.

There is a problem with the gas charge on my final receipt. They claim it was at 5/8 when I picked it up. It was not. I drove a total of 41 miles. I put 5 gallons of gas in the truck just before I returned it, but they claim the gauge was on the 1/2 mark, and I'm charged for another 8 gallons.BRUCE H.

The staff was not friendly at all. They did not even have a parking spot for me to park my car when I went there to pickup the truck. I had to go find someone who can drop me off to their location so I can pickup my truck. Lost 1Â½ hour of time just by doing back and forth. I will not pickup truck from this location.Muhammad S.

I first went to the location at U-Haul 971 N Milwaukee Ave, Wheeling, IL 60090 and wasted a half hour while the computer didn't work. Then I headed down the street to the 1026 S Milwaukee address and was in/out in 10 minutes. I tried the 800 number while I was at the first location and never got a live person on the phone. In the future I would bypass the internet/call and just go to the location as its been much quicker.ROBIN W.

Moldy bag of food under the seat. Our experience with UHaul was awful. We went to the location that we reserved the truck pick-up in Wauconda. It was not there. It took quite awhile to find a truck that wasn't too far. Got a late start on our move day and was not happy! The owner of the Wauconda location was not helpful at all. Even a little rude. Will not use them again!Eric P.
