The location is great. The truck wasn't clean(pet food on floor in cab, headlight was out, passenger window was held up with packing tape, tire sensor didn't work on back tire, too much air in tires made a rough ride until we let some air out.

Light didn't work

Now “If” they inspected the truck from the previous renter they would’ve been aware of the low brake fluid warning and added fluid. My question is, Why would you rent it out like that? I could’ve gotten in a accident. Next time I will inform a employee.
DARLA MI rented a truck in a local town. When I needed it, the rental agency told me I would have to travel an hour from our home to pick up the truck, but I would only be charged mileage from the local town to our residence. When I got the the town where the truck was, I stopped at the address given in my email receipt. There I was told they did not have my truck in stock and I would need to travel across town to pick it up. I drove across town to the new location. I was told that the truck was indeed there, but I would be paying mileage from this town to my residence. There was a glitch in the rental program and it took three people to finally get the rental completed. This is my second time renting from UHaul. The first time was the same process with the same glitches and driving involved on my part. If there is another truck rental facility in my area, I will be using them from now on. UHaul has been in business many years. But, I am hearing the same problems from other customers. Whatever you're doing isn't working well in rural areas of the country.

Alan OThis location was great. However, my original reservation was on interstate ave at 9 am and no one showed up. The doors were still locked at 10:10 am. I quickly called Macs and they were able to get me this one. This was completely unprofessional for uhaul corporate office to not have someone staff their business when it was suppose to be open. A lot of frustrated customers were waiting in front of those doors.

jim bPeople were very rude and unprofessional. They did not resolve my problem and made it my problem. I even contacted the local manager and told me not his problem. If it was my company all the employee's I came into contact with, would have been fired. I will never use U-haul again, I rather use a pack mule to haul my items. Such a SHIT SHOW what I had to go through.
Scott WCheck out time was atrocious because 1. There were other people in line 2. The paper work for a rental is horrendous. I did this online, if there is something you need or want that is the time to do it. Not when you have to wait for the place to open up and provide three contacts and all that other bullshit and stand in line for other people to do the same thing. Finally move your trailers over to seven way plugs not that bullshit four plug that no vehicle is manufactured with in three decades. For my fifty dollar rental I had to pay another $21 for the damn adapter.
David RTaillights did not work properly, had to return to a UHaul location to have taillight repaired. They said they couldn’t repair and that I should utilize the trailer as is and UHaul would pay for any fine assessed. Really! Also, right rear tire needed to be replaced after I returned to UHaul location since the tire was severely worn and was not safe to use.
Leon SThe attendant was not able to give me a drop off location. for whatever reason, I got about 20 calls from U haul customers wanting to rent equipment . When I called U haul, I was on hold for about an hour waiting for customer service. Was real unhappy with this event. I was told that Sean Olson would call me back (area Manager) and he never did call. I would like a courtesy call on this rental event. i have rented from UHaul in the past and never had issues like this before. very poor customer service.

Grady BThe customer service was fairly good although after paperwork was signed then they did mention that the truck was only good for in town driving which we were doing although they advised me that if the engine light comes on then not to worry and it would only be a concern if not staying with in town. I also had put into rent a dolly and when I arrived there was no Dolly available and none were available at any other U-Hauls nearby either so before picking up the truck we ended up going somewhere else to get a dolly first. The staff were great and pretty thorough with the check-in process.

Harry EWe did experience some glitches when picking up our trailer. We were scheduled to pick up a 6 by 12 foot trailer at Interstate Loop but one was not available and we were sent to Macs Hardware. There was a trailer available there but we had to purchase a light hookup for $21. I was also quoted a rate of $152.00 but was charged $185.00. The clerk said he couldn’t do anything about the wrong fee and we would have to call the main office. I think there were some communication issues that caused fraustration for workers as well as the customers.
