We did not receive any help or any explanation/instructions. The rate was $54 and they charged us another $64 just because we didn't reserve it. The U-Haul employee was super slow talking to others and taking his sweet time. When we returned the auto transport the employee did not open the gate for us to return it they did not even awknowdledge that we returned it.david D.

I dropped off the truck on Monday as I was supposed to and then they charged me a extra day saying I dropped it off on Tuesday. I have a request to have this reversed. The place was dirty The guy wasn't even available I spoke to a secretary who was sitting there and the guy never called me back he just charged me for an extra day.Edward S.
My experience at this location was great! At first I was a little bit confused as to where the entrance was but then a worker kindly helped direct me. Kiki was the manager there and she was very kind, patient, and helpful! The office was also very clean and sanitized. The van I rented was also very clean and in perfect working condition. Keke the reception lady was very inviting kind friendly and helpful and professional. She was safe and reminded us of COVID and keeping safe distance and hand sanitation. I completed the online reservation through U-haul, including uploading a picture of my drivers license as well as entering my credit card information. Magic Time insisted that they still needed to make a copy of my drivers license as well as my credit card when I got there. The secretary had to take pictures on her phone of my drivers license and credit card and sent them to the "boss", whoever that was? She thought it would make me feel better, to show me that she deleted them off of her phone, when I let her know that she had already sent the picture to someone else and now they have it. Was the most shady situation I have been through completing a reservation for ANYTHING. If I had not been on a timeline to get out of the apartment later that day I would have walked away. I have no problem providing ID to prove who I am but for copies to be made of identification/credit card and sent via a picture on a phone is unsafe. I canceled my card as soon as the transaction was complete. I also was asked to provide three references which was very strange considering I had already completed the online reservation through U-haul.com It seemed so out of sorts that I have enrolled in a credit monitoring subscription just to be safe. On top of all of this, the confirmation I received from U-haul indicated it would be a quick "covid-safe" pick up. I was at the location for at least thirty minutes in a room with two other customers and the employee.Steven C.

There was no one there except a mechanic that knew nothing about uhaul. Had to go to another location to get pads and dolly. It cost is a brand new tire when she had us back in to a location where the gate was too close. I would never recommend this place.Kathy M.

I got two charges! This is unacceptable. There was a second charge with a two cent difference. No bank recognizes that as the same charge (dropping it from the statement). This was on purpose and poor of this company.Salvador A.

Your online booking process indicated that it would be as simple as showing up to the location and retrieve the rental vehicle. instead it was a 45 minute process, the owner did not expect my arrival and it caused me to be late to my event. This was a test to see if the process was easy enough to rent a vehicle bimonthly instead of maintaining a vehicle for occasional use. Its not. the process is difficult and expensive. I will not be using uhaul in the future.Lando M.

This location was not easily accessible once we exited the freeway, the establishment did not adhere to the hours that were posted on the uhaul website. On the day it was due to be returned we arrived at 6:06, and they were listed as being open until 7:00pm and the lot was locked. We had spoken with the office staff to inform them of our arrival, and never received a phone call letting us know they were closing early. It resulted in us having to return the next morning at 9:00am which was their posted hours of business, and yet again no one was available and the lot was closed and we never received a phone call to let us know they would be in later that day. We had to then return later in the day at 2:00pm to drop the car transporter off, and it took over an hour to reach a uhaul representative by phone to ensure we were authorized to continue using that location as a drop off as our drop off location had been changed without our aproval. This return process was very stressful in the middle of our military move here to San Antonio, and was an inconvenience for us as we were not able to complete our full day of rental home searches as we had to make a third trip to the location to finally drop off the equipment. I think uhaul should do some due diligence in vetting the locations they have listed on their website and ensure those locations provide adequate customer service with accurate business hours posted or at least notify customers if hours will be adjusted for personal reasons. At one point we were told to just leave it on a side street and they would close out the return, this is not an acceptable way to run a business and we did not want to do that and assume liability for such action.RICHARD B.
