U-haul is my go to for all my moving needs. I don't have an opinion about any other company because I have not used anyone else,and I have moved 8 times in the last 20 years. That is how good they are!tonya F.

What i ordered wasnt available and what they offered as a replacement wasnt given to me. Truck was clean but raggedy. Sent someone to pick up my dolly i paid for and they refused to let us get what we had already been charged for. Took truck with abou 1/8 of a tank. Returned it with about 3/4 of a tank. Probably 75$ worth more than they supplied me. And was credited 14 dollars. If it was the opposite i Probably would have been charged 100 bucks or more.Jon B.

This location was extreemly hard to find. There were several storage lots with Uhaul equipment along the way but no one to recieve my trailer. Once I got there, the agent was very nice but did not offer to help unhook it. I had to back the trailer away from the office and had to unhook it myself.CHARLES C.

Rented truck Saturday until Sunday. Returned truck Sunday after 5 hours use. Wasn't clear I needed to check it back in online. Monday passed. Nothing. Finally Tuesday the location checked the truck in. I am now out 100$ or 300% more than anticipated because one, they didn't check the truck in next business day, and two they didn't care to even help me fix issue. I intially set up my appointment for 730 but the truck want ready until 9am. The communication meefs to improveEric H.
First of all the U-Haul location opened up 10 minutes late. The truck had a very dirty windshield and the air conditioning barely worked and it only came out in the windshield defroster vent. Then I could not adjust the mirrors so I could see out them. THIS IS A SAFETY HAZZARD! I could not see out the passenger side mirror at all! Needless to say I don't think I will use U-Haul again. And I do not want a cane statement from U-Haul telling me how sorry you feel and that my comments will help improve your service to other customers either. I spent 37 years in the Air Force and have a college degree I don't want to read something that is meaningless. If you want to reimburse me some of the money I spent with renting this truck, that would be a step in the right direction but somehow I doubt that will happen. U-Haul needs to step up it's game severely.George G W.

The customer representative Ms Caldwell provided excellent customer service. Her assistance was invaluable. She helped in locating her office. Uhaul has the worst computer tracking system I have ever seen. They scheduled me an appliance dolly at a location that wasn't open, I called and they sent me somewhere else, but they didn't have any appliance dollies. I ended up renting a utility dolly there. If I have other choices in moving, I will definitely use.Gregory H.
With all that's going on in the country with this pandemic, face to face interaction has become minimal. Your customer service rep was patient and extremely helpful walking me through the changes that UHAUL has implemented. I would encourage you to use her (Taneisha) as a model for your reps, because we all know that moving can be stressful, but her professionalism and apparent knowledge of your systems, definitely minimized the stress. Actually maintenance your vehicles. Seriously. We were told that this truck and dolly were, but after both broke down, separate times, the repairmen said that it was clear that no maintenance had been done in quite a while. The worst part, is that it was known that we were traveling about 1103 miles to our destination. And if there was maintenance done, then they were blind and deaf or had no vehicle knowledge. I had expensive cargo with me, time sensitive and temperature sensitive, that ended up getting destroyed due to having to stop for additional nights because of the maintenance issues. We were not reimbursed for the extra nights in the hotels, nor will I get my money back for the cargo I have to replace. I have used uhaul for many years, and the oversight on maintenance costed me more than the rental in total. Due to this, I honestly may not use uhaul again.Victoria C.

When I rented the truck, it was dirty, and I was told not to worry about it, as long as all of the big items were out and there was no trash, I was ok to return it. I cleaned it before using it to move my stuff, and in the process, there was a small amount of dirty remaining after use. I returned the truck cleaner than I received it and was still charged a $25 cleaning fee.James B.

The employee showed me the improper way to hook up the tow dolly to the towing vehicle. He showed me the wrong way to tie down the vehicle. I had to correct everything and watch YouTube videos to fix it the right way.Doug H.

the truck I rented contained some paper trash in the cargo area. Although, I cleaned it before turning the truck in; I believe that this area should have been checked by the rental center staff before I got it. I was not frustrated by it, but considering the online question about cleaning the vehicle before turning it in; it should have clean. The steering on the 15 foot truck was somewhat sloppy/loose.RHETT D.
