My unit became late on payments and on the Friday before it auctioned the manager Ms Becky @ the College park location,said i cannot pay after 4pm or pay over the weekend to save my unit. Altho they are open for business. I also had an open dispute which stated my unit would not be sold off.Leaving my unit auctioned. Which held my deceased mother’s belongings. I reached out to the Southside manager Mr Stovall with no return calls to me.i was given a final bill after the auction. Disappointed customer after using UHaul for years.

LASHONDRA S | Overall ExperienceI have a smaller indoor unit and a large outdoor unit and I also utilize the boxes. I reserved one ubox and then realized it was too small for my move. I realized this while moving items from my 10x10 outdoor unit that that suffered some kind of water damage. My furniture was damaged as well as my electronic items stored were rusted meaning something more than likely flooded and tenants weren’t notified so I tried to get another box so I could store items that way out of the bad elements and the staff member who I’d just seen minutes before on the forklift grabbing a box said ‘no 24 hours’ I drive forklifts, the manager had already told me it takes minutes and I’m doing this to protect my things that are being damaged in your facility. Nope- wait. I’d already been there for 2 days moving. So I was forced to drive to another storage location miles away- unfortunately on the way back there was a bad crash on 138 blocking the lanes- I was charged for an entire day of rental with insurance because I was 21 minutes late returning the truck and logically I informed them via app I would be late by 30 minutes it wasn’t 30 minutes it wasn’t the full 21, I had to wait in the lot because the rear of the building on both ends was blocked so I was more like 10 minutes late with the rental. Nonetheless, in every area I was disappointed I pay $150 for a unit that floods and has a roach issue, limited access to boxes(my local uhaul does not complain about access timeframes when more than one person is in the office or if it’s sitting right on the dock) and then very strict rental policies when the vehicles themselves are hazards. The indoor unit was nice and a decent amount of space but the cost was not reasonable in comparison to other locations therefore I chose to relocate to a box that way no bug concerns no stairs (I’m disabled, no hassle) but it wasn’t an ideal move especially with staff making the issue bigger than it had to be. Ms. Bekki was awesome per usual so I had to give one additional star on her behalf.

Deneen M | Online Move InUnit has no issues with the lift door, gate response or access, but there are concerns with the roofing inside the unit being damaged. I like the location of my unit, I definitely like the upfront Pricing and management is attentive and always available here. I have recommended U-haul storage and specifically this location to renters at other storage locations. This location is by far one of the best I've leased at.
