To drop off the truck it was a nightmare we put the gas back where it was but by the time we found a pickup drop off site our gas was gone again it was very hard and confusing we went to three different places and none of them would accept the truck finally a man that works there at one of the sites gave us a proper drop off pointFrederick G.

I have no complaints with either location. The issue I have is with U-Haul's website trying to communicate that I had in fact dropped off the trailer on time. I was unable to navigate because the prompts did not apply to my situation. U-Haul needs to update the way self-check-in is conducted. I called U-Haul customer service but was left on hold for a very long time never did get through. U-Haul needs to rethink their website for self-check in.John G.

I didn't think it was too polite of the employee to blame my truck for having a faulty turn signal, when it worked just fine before we hooked up to the trailer. After I checked it out the trailer had a faulty harness and when asked if it was possible to switch trailers the lady wasnt too thrilled and was aggravated that I asked and said the trailer worked fine before. She replaced the harness on the trailer and worked fine after that.DENNIS G.
Cab of truck was full of long white dog hair. When the windows were down while driving It blew all over the cab. They worry about the Back being swept out, the front should be clean as well!Kate V.

The lady who ran the pick up location was very helpful but she wasn't familiar with the car dolly and how the tire straps were loosened before tightening over the car tires. I wasn't familiar with the ratchet operation, so between us we really struggled to get the car onto the dolly. I feel strongly that if your going to provide the equipment to the public you must be knowledgeable about using it and showing the customer how to use it. I was on a tight schedule and this fiasco made for a very stressful evening.Kent H.

This has nothing to do with the location. It's solely based on what I feel was an issue with the online booking. I reserved online a 10 foot truck that was located 4 miles from my house. 2 hours later I was told this wasn't available but there was a 20 foot truck that was available at a different location. This location is 15 miles from my house. So, since this was the next closest location I took it. That said, just due to the fact of mileage difference, at .99/mile I'm already out $18. I feel if a vehicle isn't available then don't say that it is when booking online. That simple. I'm irritated and likely will not use U-Haul again when needing to rent a truck. Which will happen. I will look at other companies if this doesn't get settled with me to my satisfaction. Again, it's not this location's fault. It's the online booking mess.Gary C.

I felt like the owner of this business REAlLY didn't want to rent me a truck, or like she was mad at me for some unknown reason. "When you drop that key into the after hours key return, if you damage that box I'm gonna charge you $200. If you're willing to break into that box you might be willing to break into my business - THIS IS HOW I FEED MY FAMILY YOU KNOW," The whole rental process felt really hostile. This was in Michigan and though we have not had any snow for about a week, there was over 3 inches of snow and ice on the windshield that I had to scrape off. Somehow moisture got inside the deck of the truck and when the sun came out, I had to clean the condensation off of the ceiling of the deck because it was dripping onto my furniture.Timothy P.

My vehicle was checked in by a woman at a totally different location so I was charged for gas when I had actually over filled it to thank the folks in Des Plaines. The woman had a difficult time taking responsibility for her actions and the customer was incredibly poor. I was disappointed.Beth S.

This woman who runs this place is extremely rude. She literally said "so I am taking it that you don't have enough money on your card." That was her response to me asking the estimated price. She also pretty much was threatening to charge me for another day. She went on to tell me that checking the uhaul in is not her priority and went on to talk bad about your company. I have used uhaul three times. I have never had such an awful experience and I will for sure never go to that location again.SAMATHA M.
Thank you to Veronica at Manchester Feed & Supply for being at the store on time on a holiday and pleasantly explaining the rental process to me.There are two small items to check on the truck, the dashboard light was burnt out and the brakes squealed a little. Other than that, the truck was clean and drove well. I would use this U-Haul location again.KARL S.
