The truck was unlocked and had empty fast food containers in it. I should have put my glasses on and confirmed the mileage upon rental. We drove no more than 30 miles round trip but I was charged for 70. I have learned a valuable lesson. The online rental portion was so easy, I just expected the rest of the process to be easy too. It took an hour to get through to someone who could help find the keys so we could get on the road. I would use the service again but would definitely plan for delays.

The rental process was a fiasco. You sent me to one place & they didn’t have my truck. You sent me to another & she was closed & I got her on the phone & she was kind enough to work everything over the phone.

We booked two weeks before the date online to be sure we can have a truck,the day before we called to confirm the booking, it was okay, and the day after, no truck ready, nobody knows about our reservation, we asked for a dolly when we booked and paid for, we had any dolly. Needed to wait for somebody to get a truck. Bad experience and so expensive.

No moving blankets in the truck, I had ordered 2 dozen. Also the truck had 3 - 55gal drums in it that were filled with an unknown material.

Understanding that this is also a "Party Shop" she needs help with the U-Haul portion of the business to market it more & make it a go to place. But, if you are on MARCO ISLAND, or in South NAPLES this is a very close location. Worked for us & she was VERY accommodating for our needs.

Terrible rental facility. Could not give me a paper contract. Had to do the contract over the phone with someone else. Got the amount wrong, the mileage wrong, over charged me.

This was not the original location I was to pick up my U Haul. I got a call the day before at noon that I needed to pick up a much larger U Haul than what I reserved and that I needed to get it before 4:30 that day. They were closed on Saturday so I had to be there that day. So I took vacation time off of work and a buddy drove me 50min away from my original U Haul location to pick up this huge 26' truck so I could pick it up before 4:30pm. When I got there the truck was blocked and the guy that could move the tent which was blocking it wasn't there. So my buddy drove me back to his place then drove me back down later where the rental agent moved the truck and left the keys in the truck for me. This was a huge inconvenience for myself and my buddy. So now that I had this huge truck I had to leave it overnight at his store because his neighborhood didn't allow trucks to be parked outside overnight. Finally a 26' truck is less fuel efficient than a 17' truck so I wasted more money in gas driving to Tampa. If I was able to get my truck on Saturday morning, with the size I wanted, and the location I asked for I wouldn't have an issue.

My entire experience with this rental location was poor and unprofessional. Upon arrival I was not asked for a drivers license and was not given a contract of any kind to either see or sign. I had no idea what miles were on the truck or what they say the level of gas in it was. I live 7.1 miles from the pick up location and moved 2 miles further. The most that I could have driven would have been 20 miles. I was billed for 45 miles. Upon retuning the truck, I asked for a contract and was told that I already had it by the same gentleman that checked me in that morning. I told him that I did not because he did not give me one! He told me that one would be emailed to me. At that point I picked up my phone and call Uhaul directly. I was at this point concerned that I was going to be billed for something else! No contract with miles, no contract with gas level and no contract saying what condition the truck was in. What if I would have been stopped by the police and did not have proof of rental?? I am not very happy about my entire experience with Uhaul and when I finish my move next week, I will NOT be using Uhaul.

I wish I would have known about the location not being open. It was a first and felt uncomfortable leaving vehicle outside. Cannot rate customer service due to no contact made, however location appeared to be cleaner than pick-up location.

My truck was not at the location where I reserved it. The lady tried to be helpful by telling me I could rent their one truck since it was for the morning only and at the rate for the size truck I requested. But I had to wait over an hour for the truck to be unloaded. I wish she had just told me to drive the 15 minutes to the other location. When I returned the truck at 11:40 the doors were locked and no one was there but the gate was open so I drove the truck in and left.

She was the worst customer service I have seen in a long time and also was a very poor representative for the way she talked about Uhaul and complained to us about how she was not making any money on return of the trailers and should only take trucks, etc.

The auto transport trailer worked very well to haul our vehicle and the 17 ft uhaul truck pulled it with no problem. Uhaul is awesome

Original dropoff location I selected was no longer a Uhaul location - your website needs to be updated to reflect only current dropoff locations. The Marco Island Equipment was closed on Sunday so we had to leave truck there.

COULD NOT OPEN THE DRIVER'S DOOR FROM THE OUTSIDE. THIS TRUCK SHOULD BE TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE UNTIL REPAIRED. ALSO, UHAUL WEB SITE INDICATED THIS WAS STILL LOCATED ON BARFIELD IN MARCO ISLAND BUT IT HAD MOVED.

Closed on the weekends, when I was scheduled to arrive. Perhaps assigning a different arrival store would be good. No dropbox for keys. Woman on phone was abrupt and not helpful. She took a couple days to check me in. Your system started recovery efforts against me because she didn't check me in. I am NOT happy with them. Why you continue to let them represent you is beyond me.

Web page never updated with equipment status, always "due in" I'll assume the pickup location did not update status in the system. No “day before” e-mail on where to pick up. It turned out to be different then booked.

Do not use this location. The woman at this location completely botched the entire rental process, not only for me but for other renters dealt with before me as well. I was called and told that if I could pick up the truck I requested one day early, I would be given that extra day free, as this location would be closed Saturday. When I drove more than 30 minutes out of my way to this location, she had given my truck away to another customer, because she had given away that customer's truck the day before. I understand that truck rentals are based on availability, however, do not request that I go out of my way only to not have my truck. I was told to come back the next day (when I originally wanted to rent the truck) and even though no one would be there I was to "find the keys under the seat" and I would be emailed my contract. When I arrived the following morning, the truck was indeed there, with almost no gas and in desperate need of an oil change. I took photos of the gas and mileage and Dawn, the woman from this location, called me and asked what the mileage was when I liked up the truck, the condition, etc and told me that I would give the drop off location a receipt that she would email me and pay then. Between these two instances I had spoken to uhaul corporate and was given a $50 guarantee, which was "applied to my order". I confirmed with Dawn tbat this was reflected, and she could not tell me, but would call me back with an answer after speaking to corporate. About an hour after speaking to Dawn, I noticed that the full amount had been charged to my account by Dawn. Thanks a lot, Dawn. Now, corporate can not do anything but charge me the full amount and send me a check. I never received a contract, never received a receipt, never signed a single thing, yet had a truck and paid the full amount for it, despite being told otherwise that I would not have to. THEN, when dropping off the truck, I was told that I had not returned the truck with the amount of gas that I had received it. As Dawn never saw the truck before I poked it up, she had no idea that there was almost no gas in it, approximately 1/8th of a tank, WHICH IS EXACTLY WHERE I RETURNED IT. Uhaul could/would not close my order, issue me a guarantee refund, do or say anything to rectify the situation the this location had created. Due to the negligence and ineptitude of this location I will never recommend uhaul again.

I'm very dissappointed and dissatisfied where I had to pick up the truck since I live in Naples and had to take the time and drive to Marco Island to pick up the truck. The person who was driving my truck had to take additional time off from work. It was very inconvience since my reservation was made nearly a month in advance. You need people to drive trucks to the location and city where your customers have reservation for so it will be more convient for your customer. This is very poor service on the U-haul Co. The lady in Marco location was very nice and courteous. Very helpful.

The young lady at this location was very nice and helpful. I attempted to call the U-Haul return number that was on my contract to drop off the truck. I was on hold for 20 minutes and finally hung up and called again later and was on hold for over an hour. I finally called the dealership I found in the phone book and she said to bring the truck there and she would take care of things. When I dropped the truck off she said she had been on hold for over forty five minutes attempted to contact U-Haul and get things corrected. She was very helpful and took care of everything.

From beg to end an unbelievably bad experience. Tire was flat when we got there, no dolly that I ordered and was still charged for. Correct mileage not noted causing them to charge me 1000 miles for a 200 mi. trip (credited later...but still) Receptionist that picks up phone is rude (Rose) and they lost the credit card information provided online to reserve the truck.
