he tried too over charge me, taking me for a dummy. he charge me for safety insurance without even asking me ($14.00); when i came in after usage i asked him how much he was going to charge my card; he said, i'll send you a receipt (as like i did not want my receipt now). i again, asked him how much you are going to charge my card? he took out his smart phone pulled up my info then he said $192.00 dollars on a $29.00 dollar rental w/utility dolly($7.00). my total mileage driven was 63 miles, starting out with a 1/4 full take of gasoline and returned with 1/4 tank full of gasoline. he said they made a mistake; they had me down for two days. i let him run he's spill for awhile, then he said : oh, i made a mistake i'm looking at someone's else account. so, when i knew he was off by much--since i rent uhauls all the time--he refigured my numbers and came into the range which was acceptable (minus the insurance charge), because i didn't ask for it; and he told me i did. i just got tired of going back and forth with this person; i since that he was dirty in his dealings. so when he reach a reasonable amount after seeing my net day amount (receipt) i left. point i'm making if i would have left and went along with his word that he is going to send me a receipt; i would have been out of $56.00 additional dollars, with the $14.00 dollars insurance he charged, i would have been overcharge approximately $70.00 dollars and some change.00cents. this is my experience with this uhaul renter, just bad!Dawud S.

I was bounced around several locations with individuals who barely spoke English. Had no idea they were part of U-Haul because no signs indicated U-Haul anywhere on the building. Run down, disheveled, and very uncomfortable location. I would have not wanted to drop the truck off there at night.John M.

Deliver truck promised, deliver truck in timely fashion, have more staff at locations, do not charge for fuel when van was topped off at drop off. In all my years using U-Haul this was the worst experience.Christopher J.

The UHaul registration process is almost helpful, but I'm not sure why it requires you to put in your driver's information onsite when that can be completed prior to pickup. There are WAY too many steps to take on arrival, more of it should be offloaded to the registration process. For whatever reason, the location I picked up from only showed â€œreturn vehicleâ€ even though I didn't have the keys yet, and I had to wait 15 minutes to get it sorted out through the various menus on the site. All in all it should be more streamlined.Will C.

My initial location, a mile from me, was said to have no trucks available due to Covid precautions. I had to go to this location, and saw no problem as I needed the truck for my move. I get into the vehicle and I see dust, sunflower seed shells, pet hair, and open containers of Zaxby's sauce in the cabin. I had to go home and wipe down the cabin for my own healths sake, but I would absolutely not ever recommend this place to anyone. Disgusting truck.NADER M.
I had to go to two locations to get a U-haul. I had a reservation at Mikes Food Mart in Tampa, FL. I showed up and they had no trucksâ€¦ even though I had an appointment and it said guaranteed truck or we will give you $50 online. The man was no help and I had to drive to another location and pay even more money for a uhaul because they only had the larger uhaul available (I only needed the small one). I think for the inconvenience I should have been given the option to at least pay the same price for the different size trucks at I was guaranteed apparently to get the uhaul at mikes food mart but there was none there. I might use a different company in future or if I had a big move coming up because the guaranteed policy online wasn't accurate. I did have a good experience at the Martha's place location, but it was out of the way for me and I had to pay those extra miles.Liam S.

This survey is forcing me to rate the drop off location. I really don't have an opinion since I dropped it off after hours. The only issue as previously noted, there were other drop off locations very close to my destination but were not suggested at the time that I picked up the truck.STEVEN M.

They need to have someone to help. The man was taking customers food order and trying to the contract for U Haul. It took a hour just to rent a truck. Then made a statement to me I could go somewhere else and get one. Had there been any available elsewhere, I would have. It was much easier returning it. That gentleman, was more prepared.DAWN W.
