The van I rented was absolutely filthy and smelled like horse manure. I was not able to move my belongings and it was a complete waste of time and money. It was after hours so I couldn't even bring it back to swap. The manager was supposed to call me back and never didBrandon T.

I showed up at 9am with the truck. Sign said â€œwe will be back at 9:30.â€ I showed up at 10:20 and still nobody there. Lights off. You guys had me drive 37 miles out of the way from my house. We passed 2 other Uhauls and I had to return to that place nobody was at? I'm calling my Credit Card company to fight for money back. Online it said I can return my truck back to Rochester and get $175 back...TREVOR M.

This site was the third location I was sent to, even though I had made reservations weeks ago at another location. The first location had a trailer in an accident and I was directed to another location where at the last minute I was called and told my trailer was not available.Steve M.
I have rented three U-Hauls in the last 3 years the last that I rented I had requested a furniture dolly and an appliance dolly and both times when I went to pick up the truck neither of them was there. During our recent rental we ended up not being able to move quite a few pieces of our furniture when we intended to move everything because of this. My significant other and myself both have shoulder issues so those pieces of equipment would have helped a great deal. Now turn around and rent another truck in a few days and hopefully this time we will get the equipment that we asked for so that we are finally able to have all of our belongings in our new home. I figured since this is the second time that this has happened to me I should probably say something so that you guys are aware that it seems to be a regular thing. I was charged one mile extra; I took a picture of the odometer reading upon drop-off. Also, the truck stalled in the middle of the move, requiring a boost. So, while the pick-up location was clean and the rep was helpful, I'm not likely to recommend this location going forward.Helenann W.

Overall, the uhaul app and equipment is very good. This is the second time though, that I have ordered a half dozen furniture pads and not received them. This first time was with another location. Both times I was refunded the charge but I would rather have had the pads! Again, uhaul has done a great job at a fair price, but something must be lacking in the notification system to ensure i receive the pads. ThanksKevin D.

I was charged a cleaning fee for $25.00 why? This is ridiculous, I only had it for 3 hours.....did not eat in it...it was spotless when I returned it!! Honestly, I believe this was wrong!! Please feel free to call me 248-303-3613.Michael L.
My only disappointment was that I was told the vehicle was full Upon pick-up (gas tank) however it was nearly 1/8 less than full. I was told the vehicle had to be returned full which I did upon return. I mentioned it when I checked in the vehicle (I have picture proof of the gas gage). When I brought it to the attention of the employee when I returned the vehicle and they said nothing they can do call u-haul direct. Wrong way to handle this matter - he should have validated my co cern and resolved it in the spot with a credit! I feel I should be compensated for the lack of gas in this vehicle.LESLIE ANN F.

Would have preferred the option of a 10 foot truck. Only a 15 foot truck was available from this location. The truck was fine, but very fuel thirsty (10 mpg) for the amount of furniture we had to carry. Otherwise a great experience. Thank you.GOY U.

Truck interior could have been cleaner, roof to back leaked in rainstorm. Out of washer solvent and driver's mirror could not be adjusted. I do love this location , the people here are awesome. I will return.Matthew M.

The process of using a smart phone after hours was terrible. On line account did not show a reservation!! I made the reservation in person ahead of time. I had a reservation number as well. Then, Your system said they couldn't pin point my location, yet GPS and locations were enabled and on. Then the system stalled and gave error message. Had to call. Wait wait wait. Ladies very helpful and nice. They confirmed my reservation yet and said perhaps my name was not linked to the reservation number.Michael S.
Everything about the pick-up and drop off process at Maxx Storage was excellent. My only complaint is that the 5x8 trailer, while OK for our purposes, was pretty "tired" and the tires on the trailer did not look to be in great condition. I would much rather have had a nicer trailer that had been better maintained.William J.

When I came in to rent a vehicle the girl at the counter didnt really seem familiar with the process. Also after I dropped it off two days later I got a fraud alert for someone trying to charge my card for almost $2000 from this location. I no longer feel comfortable going to uhaul again.Angelina H.

the trailer was very old. one tire was bald and other was replaced some years ago. the bolts were rusted. The unit needs to be refurbished or retired . the facility should have asked replacement and not keep renting it.mehmet A.

I really do not know why Uhaul conducts these surveys, as NO one ever follows up. I have had 2 poor experiences at 2 different locations , reported them and nothing is ever resolved. I have resolved to use a competitor.Gregg H.
