The last time I had rented a UHaul was a couple of years ago. As such, when returing the vehicle after-hours, I remember just dropping off the keys with the contract and maybe filling out a piece of paper to go with it. So when I showed up a half hour early after a long day of moving, I didnt have my phone on me. I then had to drive an extra hour to get my phone so that I could check the truck in. The check in was cumbersome with having to take picture after picture. I understand that it takes the onus off of the location, but in a customer service industry, your competition is finding ways to increase customer convenience, not decrease it by adding additional work. Especially at check-in when you are exhausted and just ready to go home and unpack or call it a night. I also remember thinking about how lucky I was to be dropping off in Metamora, because I had to spend a half hour in the dark walking around the vehicle and taking pictures, With the location closed. This would be dangerous in Peoria, and poses a liability for the company. Then the Uhaul website kept giving me a location error message. I had my location services turned on, so this was a bug with the website not my phone. I ended up having to download the app and use that. After hours Check-in needs to be streamlined. If you want to continue to cut out the middle man, with the check in/check out procedures, I would recommend modeling your check in/check out procedures off of successful car-sharing companies such ad Zipcar. Location was good oversll, but I would recommend talking through the after hours check-in process with future customers that will be returning the vehicle after close. It will give them the opportunity to make sure their phone is with them, charged, and with data! Hope this feedback helps, and thanks for another successful move!Thomas S.

The ratchet strap on the auto transport was full of crud and rust. This meant we were able to get the car onto the transport and secured, but it took at least an hour to get it back off the trailer at our destination. the folks at Metamora Motors were super helpful, and it would help if UHaul did some more maintenance on their equipment too.Anthony G.
Filled truck to the required 7/16 tank amt one block away. This place claimed it was less than that and charged us 9.75. I would like that refunded. What a ripoff.Dan S.

Was not able to get the size trailer I needed. Had to settle and pay more for a much larger one. Rented trailer for 3 days and was told if brought back early it would be less money. Turns out that was not true. Thought price was high for a one way but I was in a bind.... so, one way and one day from Illinois to Nebraska was $320.kevin M.
