When I arrived, I needed to locate the van, which was inside a rather large parking lot. After walking across the parking lot to find the van, I then needed to walk back to the entrance to get the key and then walk back to the van. Not a big deal, but a bit inconvenient. When I got in the van, the low tire pressure light was on. There were no markings on the door for tire pressure. To get the odometer reading, I had to figure out how to clear the tire pressure warning. I also don't understand why vehicles can't be left full. It's easy to refill a tank to full. This was the first time I rented a U-Haul from this location. Both of the employees I encountered were courteous and helpful. I would certainly recommend this facility to anyone looking for Rental Services!Eric E.

I left my sunglasses in the truck. They are Ray-Ban's in a blue protective sleeve. Went to location but the truck was just removed from the lot for scheduled maintenance. The manager was nice enough to take my phone number in case they show up but I doubt I'll see these again. who knows. Otherwise the experience of renting from this location was great.Glenn H.

The office smelled so good and was comfortable and inviting it was so nice. The manager was professional and quick. While also being able to have a nice conversation which was comforting due to my situation. I absolutely adore this place and employees. I didn't realize it was not a regular Uhaul. I didn't know that "after hours" started at 3pm and had to pay extra for that. I also had to pay $25 cleaning fee but when I picked up the truck it was GROSS and not cleaned from the previous user. Crushed goldfish crackers were all over the floor and dried liquid in the cup holders. The woman at the front desk, Jennifer was very nice.EMILY M.

I have not rented a UHAUL in over twenty years so I did not fully understand that it was necessary to take a picture of how much gas was in the vehicle upon accepting it. When I returned the vehicle, with more gas then I received it in, I was charged a fuel fee. The personnel was polite, but did not empathize the importance of photographing the gas gauge. .Karen G.

I had an absolutely horrible experience with my Uhaul rental. I specifically got a 24/7 reservation so that I could drop the truck off after hours with my phone. However, the mobile drop off did not work at all and I was charged an extra $20 + the next day for a staff drop off â€œconvenience feeâ€. I view it as completely unacceptable that I was charged extra for the mobile drop off service not working, which is no fault of mine. When I tried to dispute the charge, I was left on hold for hours. I was sure to leave a review of my experiences on google and will never rent a Uhaul truck again. I've also told 4 of my friends who are moving in the next several months about what happened and they will be switching from Uhaul to Penske, budget, etc. I'll continue to tell anyone who is moving not to use Uhaul, who scams you out of money for their faulty services that they advertise.Alexander O.

I wish that you could send vehicles out with a full tank of gas. It's almost impossible to return the truck the starting level without overpaying for gas. If the tank is full to start, it's easy to make sure the tank is full on return.Phil N.

I returned the vehicle to the same location 2729 (Hereford St Saint Louis, MO 63139) within the time agreed upon, but I never got a receipt for the $44, that the system said I paid. I wasn't able to use my bank card, so the sales Rep Sedastian set up a Cash App payment for $101 to cover the cost. I see that there are two Cash App withdrawals on my bank account, one for $101 and another for $102, but not one for $44, which is what the site displayed at the end of the online return process. I still had to put my card information in the system to complete the online vehicle return process, because there is no Cash App option. I am very concerned about what I am actually being charged for and what is being removed from my bank account! I tried to print a receipt from the end process and the system did not produce one, but it immediately flashed several time and went back to the Uhaul home screen, before I could take a screen shot of the final transaction information. I am putting a stop payment/do not wothdraw altwr on my account, until I know exactly what I'm being charged and who authorized the payment. I also will be reaching out to Uhaul Corporate Headquaters first thing Monday morning to make it clear what is happening and to ask is this normal operating procedure, for Uhaul, it's locations and affiliates? Sebastian was a huge help getting started and made sure I had everything I needed to store my items securely for as long as I needed. Facility was clean and I never felt like my items were in danger of being damaged or compromised. Price for the space was definitely reasonable and they are in a good location for safe entry and exit. Would use this storage place again for sure.Chad G. | Overall Experience
Wrong key in the box indicated and after an hour and a half on the phone with uhaul, finally got the right key. Then truck wouldn't startMAUREEN G.
The tires were bulging in the inside rim but was not noticed at pick up. Once identified the truck was already loaded so we chanced they would hold the 1000 mile trip. We were lucky. When turned in the metal radial was showing. Check your tires before driving away at pickup.Terry P.

Everything was great. The one thing I think would help out is wifi? My phone is good, but the site sometimes took a bit longer to upload. WiFi would be great to move things faster. Otherwise it was great, no wait lines, no person to wait on you, and you can logged in and get it done without any other problems ....Matt D.

Great place to store your things safely. Only thing I didn’t like was I tired to get my things out before having to pay another month. When I showed up up to enter the gate I didn’t have access. I called the office the next and they said I needed to pay a extra 20 for 24/7. My next off day was 4 days which put me in a new month. Yup! Had to pay another 80.00 and my things aren’t even in there. Other then that everyone is nice and the place is clean.Ariona O. | Overall Experience

This was the worst experience I have ever had. I picked up the rental 10/9/21, the gas was on empty, it was dirty inside which is very scary considering we're dealing with "COVID", the price on the truck said $19.99 but they charged me $39.99. I turned the truck in that night, put the keys in the night box as instructed by the attendant but when I got my final bill it stated I returned the vehicle on 10/10/21 @3pm. That following Monday I was emailed a final bill of $174.50 OMG!! highway robbery. I called customer service to straighten this out but was put on hold several times for over 40 minutes at a time. This place is a total rip-off, I would not recommend them to anyone. One thing for certain and two things for sure, I will be reporting them to the BBB and calling the Attorney General.Kathy S.

At the time of this review, this location is new to the U-Haul truck rental business. The person who checked me in had trouble navigating the computer system, but got it figured out eventually. Truck itself was fine, but the gas tank came only 3/4 full and the person had recorded it as 7/8 full.KEVIN L.
